Describe your activity and roleplay experience on the server:
I’ve been playing SRP consecutively for 2 years now. In this time, I have been a part of BOTH track teams (college and highschool) as well as a member of two of the current biggest gangs (Parabellum long term, Mandate briefly, though still for a considerate amount of time.) and a returning member to fight club, as well as FamilyRP, being part of the previously established Asogi family, as well as being a tri-lead of a smaller family, The Sychyov’s. I have also found myself interacting with other factions during roleplays, as well as finding new ways to improve my DetailRP and working for several different shops, such as Yakedo Amai, Seikatsu, Yeobo, Umisachi, and recently Osozaki. Activity wise, I’m on the server daily, sometimes even during the quieter hours if I have days off, oftentimes I am online throughout the busier hours of playtime, and can average around roughly upwards of 8 hours online a day.

In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?
They not only offer support to the College students, but to other faculty as well, with them attending each other's lessons occasionally (as well as chaperoning field trips) and also supporting SLT with misbehaving students and handing out detentions or mediating situations. They can also patrol the school grounds when not hosting classes to make sure no fights break out, on top of being the essential first course of contact during their shifts. They also have a duty of care to the students, which extends into detentions when they supervise them.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?
Yes

Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?:
Yes

What's your character's full name?
The woman entered the room with a confidence someone can only earn through years of work. Her ashy-blonde hair cut short, yet still falling in neat, precise waves. As she sat, her hands were folded tightly in her lap, as she met the individual with a polite bow of her head. “Good Morning, sir. My name is Eliza Sychyova - yes. I’m related to ex-professor Sychyov, He is my father.” She was very State of the matter, much like her father. But unlike the ex-professor, her habits had been picked up from the people around her, rather than naturally formed.

Age (Minimum is 27):
Sychova gave a soft hum, her right leg crossing over the left as she leant back in her seat, casually yet still formal- in that moment, she looked scarily like a female version of Samuil. Gosh.. had it really been 7 years already? “I am 27 years of age sir, married for all seven of them, and two seven year old twins at home.” How she missed her family, and she couldn’t wait to move back so she could be with her entire family full time - as well as giving her father a well deserved break every now and then.

Nationality:
The woman’s gaze fell briefly to the window, looking out across the track field, the place she had once held so dear to herself - well, she still did, Track and Field teams still held a special part of the blonde’s heart. Her expression softened only briefly as she recalled the fond memories she had made at this very school. Her attention returned to the question at hand, and with it.. The cold neutrality of her presence followed. “Japanese believe it or not. I was born in a small town on the outskirts of Osaka, but I’ve travelled a lot. I spent a lot of my younger childhood in England, then returned to karakura from 16 - 20. Within that time I learnt Russian, Italian, and French, and I’m a frequent visitor to all three of those countries. In fact for the last 7 years, myself, my husband and two kids have been all around the world for my work.. But I’m sure I will have an opportunity to explain that soon.”

Preferred Subject:
A smile flashed subtly across the woman’s face, her ocean blue eyes shimmering excitedly. She loved telling people what she chose to teach, almost as much as telling them the reason why! “Literature, specifically creative writing. I enjoy giving my students gateways to express themselves, especially knowing that a lot of them have never had the tools to properly do so.” after all.. It had been a creative writing lesson hosted by her father where Sychyova had learnt how to express her feelings through the art of words. “I think, it can really help them see the good in the world, and change their perspectives on things.”

Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?
Eliza is tall and striking with an athletic, muscular build shaped by years of running and training. She’d always been an active child, and since joining the high school track team at 18, she focused even more intensely on her workouts. They, along with literature, gave Sychyova a focus, something to have for herself, to make sure she never gets lost, or strays from who she is- a hard worker, and survivor. Her frame is toned with defined abs and strong shoulders, balanced by subtle curves with shoulder-length ash-blonde hair that often appears almost white in bright light, pale skin, and sapphire blue eyes that tend to watch more than they speak. A wedding ring rests on her finger, with a few old and mostly faded scars along her upper-body. Her left eye, a prosthetic, a reminder of a fatal accident the young woman faced during her transition from high school to college. Sychyova has an array of mannerisms, mostly learnt from her surroundings, allowing her to swap and change how she behaves to fit different environments. She has the ability to be strict, with a ‘no nonsense’ attitude, yet also gentle and approachable, thanks to her experience with motherhood and raising younger siblings, making her a perfect fit for rowdy classrooms or upset students.

What is their outlook on students and their co-workers? What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
To Eliza, she sees students as more than just human beings. She sees them for their potential, the people they could become. Others may see a delinquent, or a rowdy jock and assume they have behavioural issues - Sychyova looks at the same person and instead of a troubled child, she sees someone to help. Her whole life she’s been labelled as cold, intimidating, and harsh - but those who truly took the time to get to know her understand that she isn’t. Sychyova looks at trouble, and asks ‘how can i help?’ rather than ‘what’s wrong?’ because sometimes, the phrasing can change it all, and the woman she’s become is a woman who will refuse to let a child suffer silently like she had for so many years.

With regards to her co-workers, Sychyova prides herself on rapport. A kind smile in passing, general small talk and bonding opportunities. She is aware they are the role models, and it is hard to preach kindness and respect to students who are old enough and smart enough to read tension like a book. She teaches by example, and lives her life making sure no one is ever afraid to ask her for help - students and faculty alike.

Growing up in karakura, Sychyova faced her fair share of bias and disappointments. And after her children were born, she worried about their upbringing. It was a conversation with her father, about his old work, that gave her the idea. She didn’t immediately start with studying and university. For the first few months, after her children were old enough, she started travelling with them and her husband to the poorer countries. Seeing the children not being allowed to live as children hit a soft spot in the blonde’s heart, and she began studying. First for the primary schools, working all around the world as a volunteer teacher for the areas with less educational privileges, then she progressed. Teaching languages to foreign exchange students, coaching school teams around the world, until she found herself with a diploma from the university of Tokyo in Higher Education, and a backlog of experiences that she will carry with her to inspire the next generation.

A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
Sychyova turned around from the board, capping the marker silently as her gaze fell to the student. She took a moment to survey the incident, cataloguing it before she spoke, her voice flat, neutral for now. “That is not what we do here. You may not find this interesting, but your peers do. You have no obligation to behave, but I doubt your captain will be best pleased if they learn that your behaviour has poorly represented their team.” she made her way over, picking up the paper ball before disposing of it into the waste bin. “Now, I’m going to ask that you sit quietly and behave so I may finish my lesson, or alternatively.. I can remove you from my class with a detention slip for disruption. Pick carefully.”

A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
She had noticed the struggle when it began, but had given the student a chance to come to her. Given that they had not done that, and were still struggling, Sychyova knew she had to take matters into her own hands. She addressed the class as a whole, not making it obvious that this was specifically for the student in question. “Does anyone have any questions or concerns? Anything not making sense?” Her voice had stayed light, welcoming as her gaze flickered briefly to the student, hoping this was the spark they needed to ask for help.

When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
Eliza is the kind of person to make a fresh pot of coffee after each period, not just for herself, but a full pot for whoever may need a refresh. She also bakes a lot, so there would be no shortage of sweet treats for emotional support.
As far as conversation goes, Sychyova is polite enough to respond when spoken to, however she understands that the break room is preferred for relaxing - She also struggles with making small talk, so can often be found grading homeworks or checking on her children and siblings.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject
FIELD TRIP:
A visit to a local site, I.e: the shrine, zen gardens, beach, or public library and the students are encouraged to write their own reports about the area. Bonus points if we run into a reporter along the way who agrees to give them some advice and tips.

CLASS ONE: One word stories. Students will be gathered at the front of the classroom, where they will be told to create a story, but only using one word at a time. The story may have a set genre or theme, or it can be as whacky as the students make it, as long as they have fun.

CLASS TWO: Role on the wall: A classic theatre game, which asks participants to create a character and embody it. How do they act, How do they talk, it engages their brains and encourages critical thinking, bonus points if the backstory is coherent and well thought out.
