Nishioka’s mother and father have a very lustful relationship. Both of them are rather fixated on business, wealth and travel which certainly skyrocketed when their relationship formed. Their career bloomed in the Philippines - a clothing branch which specialises in formal menswear. As their attire became more recognisable, it chained across a variety of countries, encouraging them not only to travel for advertisements but business meetings and store openings. You could say that the couple were high on life, partying every evening with high-status individuals on yachts and within large villas. Reputation is always at the forefront of their mind, calling Nishioka’s parents two-faced is truly an understatement. It goes unnoticed that the pair hold up a facade, beneath their concealment are very devious, conniving individuals who truly tear others down to get to where they want to be. Although conceiving Nishioka was planned, it was not what you’d expect them to do it for. Nishioka was primarily a link to their belt, someone who could carry on the family line and propel the business into the future. Family wasn’t their soul concern, it was all about reputation. Nishioka had to be the perfect child and this completely destroyed what would be her childhood.
Childhood
Nishioka was born on the 6th of May, 2001. Though her bouncing baby self was welcomed into the family with open arms, the years that went by caused this ‘love’ to sorrowfully fade. Why? Well let’s just say her parents priorities were far from their new-born daughter. Throughout Nishioka’s ageing and development, herself and her family moved between towns and cities on the regular - primarily for business and promotion. This dis-jointed childhood caused Nishioka to lack skills in communication and her development milestones lagged behind many other children her age. School was never consistent, therefore, the arts became one of the only things Nishioka could maintain by herself . . . doodling over her bedroom walls, hands and pretty much EVERYTHING she could find. She continues to do this at her age now. Friendships were also a lack in Nishioka’s younger life, not aiding her inability to communicate. Social construct is also rather difficult for Nishioka to maintain due to these gaps in her development.
Relations
Tetsuya Yamashiro: Yamashiro is one of Nishioka’s best frenemies. Though he taught her the ins and outs of skating, their friendship goes through the most bipolar of ups and downs. He knows exactly how to push her buttons and let’s just say, it does not end well. In fact - it usually ends in a classic, toddler tantrum . . . what a surprise! Fear definitely clouds Nishi’s judgement of him, witnessing many dangerous things occur at his fingertips . . .
Alexandra Reznik: Alexandra is Nishioka’s best friend . . . HOW BIZARRE! Despite their differences, the two make the perfect good-cop, bad-cop. They have been through a lot together . . . especially pain. This pair finds themselves in many accidents - especially involving sport, cars, needles and stairs. You mess with one? You’re messing with the other. Friends for life, girlbossing Karakura.
Hana Yagi: Hana is the motherly figure Nishioka never had. Hana truly cares not only about Nishioka’s mental health but physical well-being. Every time Nishioka shows signs of bad decision making, Hana leads her in the right direction and overall, causes Nishi to look up to her in awe. Nishioka adores the trio herself, Hana and Alexandra make and wouldn’t hesitate to turn to them for advice.
Emilia Kua Ka Hua: Emilia is one of Nishioka’s closest friends - especially on her team. Emilia has been utterly selfless with Nishioka, whether that is helping her through cheer rivalry or fixing her raggedy v-bangs. Her friendship with Emilia will forever be something she cherishes.
Kaiser Beckermann: What can I say . . . weirdly, Nishioka looks up to this Beckermann. Together, they share one brain cell and come up with a reasonable answer to 2 + 3. HOW AMAZING! Being on corresponding teams allows the pair to dabble in conversation . . . Nishioka is eager to get Mr Beckermann a man! (Taking applications ay-eff!)
Love Life
Maybe an airhead can find love after all. . .
Nishioka’s love life only bloomed after meeting Football Captain, Dallas Caines.
Surprised? I believe the pair was too.

Once Dallas received her position as captain, she was introduced to the frat and sorority members almost immediately. At the time, Nishioka had just secured her place on the Spartan Cheer Team and was lingering around with her good friend Sachiko Kadenokoji - a fellow cheerleader. The sweet scent of Mako Baek’s cooking flooded the room, released on Dallas and Marcus Rogers’ entry.
Marcus formally introduced Caines and the household consumed perhaps too many of Mako’s homemade tacos. Dallas’ presence certainly made Nishioka nervous, though, couldn’t understand why. It was far from in-character. A few days later the two partook in their second interaction by the Spartan Football bleachers. Due to Nishioka’s undeniable anxiety around Caines the previous time, she wished to make it up to her . . . introducing herself in a less restricted manner.
Here on out was a blur, yet, their friendship continued to strive. It strived so much that one interaction at the back of the school changed it all. A kiss was shared and their feelings flourished. Since then, it has only gotten better.
Despite all of the bad times they faced, their relationship has gone from strength to strength. Violence, crime, pregnancy scares, jealousy - they got through it all. Differences between the two make them work. Yes, it takes a few conversations . . . perhaps cries to understand each other’s feelings but their undeniable love is truly indestructible!!
Unless they have a baby . . .

The pair’s relationship came to a standstill after an unfortunate event with Nishioka’s mother and father. Disapproving the pair meant DRAMA. Almost immediately, Nishioka was carted out of Karakura after disobeying her mother and father’s orders to study fashion in college. Dating someone and a girl at that was outrageous to them . . . the only way Nishioka received her second chance to stay was as long as the two remained apart. Since then, their interactions have been unpredictable. The two are utterly heartbroken and confused though, seem to be on the mend.
The Cheer Team
Nishioka hardly expected to try out for the Spartan Cheer team. Her parents would not and still do not approve of her frolicking around in epic Spartan uniforms. BESIDES THAT she did it anyway!
Sitting on those bleachers was an utter blur . . . in all honesty, Nishioka paid more attention to the shape of the clouds whilst other girls would flaunt their stuff to the panel.
HERE CAME KURASHIRO . . .
‘Nishioka, you’re up!’
Of course, she hopped up immediately . . . snapping out of her previous haze. Let’s just say the girl did not snap very well and tumbled forwards. Tripping over the mat, she took the centre, introducing herself with a rather overcompensated grin.
Why did Nishioka Fujihara tryout? She wanted to redeem herself of course!
‘Hi my name is Nishioka Fujihara and I am here today to redeem myself. You see, when I was seven . . . I fell off of my trampoline whilst attempting a backflip. LONG STORY. Anyways! I hope you enjoy my routine.’
The routine was rather average, a few trips and wobbles along the way though she beckoned her chants with pride.
Like the epic girlboss Nishioka is, her routine ended with a RuPaul’s drag race inspired death drop. IT FAILED! DUH. She laid there for a prolonged period of time . . . whining in pain.
No need to worry! Girlie sluggishly rolled over and waltzed back to the bleachers. From there, her cheer experience kick-started.
Nishioka can genuinely say she loves her team. Each member holds a significant place in her heart and it is guaranteed they will fend for one another’s backs regardless of the situation at hand.
Personality
Nishioka is hard to miss once she is around. . she is fearless yet-- undeniably oblivious to her surroundings. This can cause her to embarrass herself on the REGULAR. To summarise her, Nishioka Fujihara is practically a child in a 20-year-old’s body. It is likely that Nishioka will approach every situation with enthusiasm and an open mind, encouraging others alongside her.
Her young mindset can trigger utterly slow responses and perhaps cause Nishioka to require a prolonged period of time when understanding a particular comment or scenario. The idea of social construct is a difficult one for her - especially thanks to the hectic childhood she had (missing early stages of development). This is perhaps why you could catch Nishioka blurting out random and unnecessary thoughts which spring to mind - along with idiotic mannerisms/statements.
Occasionally, Nishioka’s emotions will sky-rocket and can change sharply as each minute goes by. Usually, it is rather OTT and can be challenging to overcome at the time, especially when she is angry. Contrasting this however, Nishioka is unlikely to hold a grudge - primarily due to memory and effort. She simply does not care enough - as long as the scenario is not as severe as it once seemed.
Overall, Nishioka is a complete chatter-box. It is in her capabilities to make friends with any living or breathing thing she can - whether that be animals or humans. The last thing Fujihara is trying to do is impress you . . . unless your name is Dallas Caines. Her confidence is impeccable and approval from others is not something she needs besides from those she truly loves.
She has an extreme love for animals which is communicated with such passion, however, lacks the skill and requirements to care for her own effectively. Those who have known her a while will be aware of the tragic tale - Chewy the fish. Chewy was Nishioka’s pet which unfortunately passed when she decided to take him on a walk. . . using a stick. It’s probably a good job that Rintaro educated her on the topic.
Appearance
Nishioka is a 5’6 Filipino-Japanese female. Her visage is framed with mouse-brown hair, complimenting her dainty features perfectly. Something special about her appearance is her eyes, hazel brown laced with golden tints - especially noticeable beneath sunlight. Some may describe Nishioka as ‘top-heavy’ . . . carrying a rather oversized bust. How wonderful.
Nishioka has a moderately high pitched voice. It is soft and rather pleasing to listen to. Due to her childlike mannerisms, she tends to intonate regularly and her pitch falls and rises to an extreme extent - especially as her emotions vary. Emphasis is often used, especially during desperate measures - pleading and tantrums is a regular occurrence for this trainwreck of an individual.

Attire
Nishioka’s style is overall preppy, though, can defer to rather bright and child-like clothing selections. It ranges between onesies, dinosaur costumes to plaid skirts and pristine bows. Let’s just say, she’s rather hard to miss when in sight.

★ Animals: It’s inevitable, Nishioka is a true animal lover. DESPITE THIS . . . never trust her to care for one. RIP Chewy.
★ Bright colours: Nishioka is drawn to bright colours. This is apparent in her choice of fashion, makeup and so on.
★ Drawing: Weirdly, Nishioka found herself breaking into traditional art. Perhaps she was led astray from her pushy parent’s wishes.
Abhors
★ Bobcat cheerleaders . . . especially Meikan. OH NO. Catch these two together?? There’s definitely going to be an uproar.
★ COOKING. Enough said.
★ Loneliness. She’s a little baby in short.
Fears
★ HAVING CHILDREN. Once again, enough said. A child can’t really take care of another.
★ Loneliness. Being alone is not exactly on Nishioka’s bucket list and therefore, she can be rather needy. We all feel rather sorry for her other half . . .
★ Spoons. Um . . . yeah.
Abnormalities
★ Oversized breasts . . . self explanatory.
★ Smooth brained (head empty, no thoughts). Her lack of social awareness is peak.
Habits
★ Rocking back and forth on her feet, arms swinging alongside. WILL SHE TAKE OFF? You’re likely to find out! Maybe epic cheerbosses can do that.
★ Perching on her tip-toes. Though not very short . . . that extra added height never hurts.
★ Tantrums. Upsetting Nishioka is a 50-50 chance. Her emotions reach the extreme either way. If she is sad . . . YOU WILL KNOW.
★ Thinking out loud. Social construct is not something Nishioka is aware of, this can cause her to blurt out inappropriate or hurtful comments without intending to.
Skills
★ Cheer: Though Nishioka hadn’t planned to cheer at any point in her life, her time on the team really enhanced her skills. SHE CAN NOW LAND A BACKFLIP PROPERLY! Tumbling is one of Nishioka’s skills and regularly fulfills routines.
★ Art: Something that has gotten Nishioka through rather tough times in her life is drawing. Though not the best artist ever, she has dived into the art of portraiture - picking up her pencil and shading like there’s no tomorrow! WHAT A GIRLBOSS.
★ Hairdressing: This technically is not one of Nishioka’s skills . . . in fact . . . she makes a TERRIBLE hairdresser. From cutting her own bangs into a rather zig-zag structure and bleaching Alexandra Reznik’s hair with cleaning supplies . . . she somehow believes a career in hairdressing is truly possible.
★ Animal whisperer: Despite her lack of ability to keep animals alive, Nishioka’s bond with ANY animal flourished immediately after greeting. After many failed family extensions, she has now settled with her little bunny ‘Socks’ and weirdly he remains alive to this day.
