I’d say I’m pretty active on the server, I get on for about one to three hours before I go to bed most days, only really missing playing for a day if I have a big event planned or something comes up. I actively walk around and roleplay on the server too, keeping myself updated with events going on.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, and I’d be perfectly fine with being demoted if inactive, though with how things are right now, I doubt I ever would be inactive anytime soon.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A school caretaker is a person whose job it is to enhance the safety, appearance, and cleanliness of a school in order to help uplift and affect the staff and students who use the school positively. Caretakers mainly maintain the functionality of the school by making sure it is clean enough to actually use for learning, is conductive enough for learning, and safe to all people on the school’s grounds. Caretakers also collaborate with staff and students to make sure the school is secure and safe enough in case anything does end up happening to the school.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’d say I have a lot of experience with roleplay, I’ve been active on the server since about January or February 2023, as well as when I was little I’d often roleplay on Roblox games and actively participated in a local theater for a couple of years.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
It just feels like a fun thing to do, I’ve been interested in it for a while and now feel like I’d actually be capable of working in a faction, and the school employee one just seems to be the most calling to me personally.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
He’d most likely tell the student to focus on themselves and their own studies in school instead of getting mad at a caretaker who doesn’t really do anything to make their life difficult. He’d also warn the student for just openly cursing and taking it out on a school employee, telling them that if they continue to do that to any of his co-workers or himself, the student actually would get in more trouble then worth getting into.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
He’d push himself in between both of the students trying to force them apart whilst trying to tell the rest of the faculty about the fight. If nobody would be seeming to be coming he’d try his best to calm the students down enough to where they’d stop fighting and just leave, trying to push the two students farther from each other if it doesn’t seem to be working in getting them to back off from one another though. If other school faculty would be coming, he’d still try to calm the students down but now help the other faculty push the two students apart, breaking up the fight.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Dan would try his best to remind his co-worker to be safe on the job and to quit what they’re doing, if his co-worker seemed unresponsive and continued acting inappropriately, he’d report it to the rest of the faculty, he wouldn’t really care if the co-worker would be upset at him for him getting them in trouble as they’re the one who was acting inappropriate and he’d warned them before.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Dan would just stick to himself most of the time, makes a little bit of small talk with each of his co-workers, making sure they’re all alright, but wouldn’t push too much into learning a lot about their lives outside of work as he’d think that’s their own business and he’d rather not pry into that.

/me he’d sweep the floors in the hallways, tapping his foot annoyed by the three students making a racket towards the end of the hall, looking left every now and then to check on them when he sees them dropping trash on the ground. “Hey, you better not make me clean that up for you, if you do then I’ll make it so you get a warning for it.” and then he’d go back to sweeping, purposefully going around the dropped trash, standing still by there and watching, waiting for the kids to pick it up before they left.
/me would spray windex on the window, wiping all of the dust off with a clean rag, watching the people in the hallway in the reflection, noticing two kids beating up another. He’d turn around and walk up to them, getting between the fight and handing the two kids who were beating the other a slip. “I don’t really care why this fight started, it’s still a fight and you two should be punished anyways, I’ll look into to see if this other kid needs to be punished as well but I’m sure you two could have done something other than resorting to violence. Think about what you could’ve done differently in detention.”
/me walked into the cafeteria hearing a commotion and would see the kid sitting in the trash laughing while his friends watched, laughing along. “You three. Get out of the trash and stop messing around.” he’d approach the three students giving them all slips for making a mess of the cafeteria. “I expect you three to stay after school and help clean up the trash because of this, maybe you’ll learn to not mess around with trash and be blatantly gross.”

Backstory
Dan was born in Santa Cruz, California as an only child to two loving parents. As a child, he’d be very interested in learning about his parent’s lines of work, often asking about how their days went at their jobs and what they even do. His father worked as an electrician, often getting help from Dan while working around their house, having him fetch tools and watch him work. His mother worked as a maid, which Dan found a little less interesting than what his father did, but still respected the line of work and was happy to clean around their own house so that his mother wouldn’t have to do that as well as with her clients' houses. When Dan grew up into a teenager, he worked as a mentor under his father, being able to now actually go with him on jobs he had and help him there too.When Dan came to be in highschool and had to think of a profession he’d want to do in the future, he chose to actually follow in both of his parents footsteps, wanting to major in environmental health, so that way he could still use a little of his engineering knowledge he gathered, as well as use his cleaning skills he’s both learned from his mother and done around the house. Dan took his first two years of college in his home town, but after the second year the school offered him to transfer over to a college in South Korea for free to gain experience on the field in a job in Seoul. He mulled over the decision, asking his parents what he should do, but they both ended up supporting him to take the offer in South Korea, so he ended up being convinced by them and moving to Seoul, taking a Korean language class the summer before he moved and the first school year of his move so he could actually work effectively on the job. Once Dan finished his schooling, he ended up working for four years as a caretaker in a high school in Seoul, South Korea before eventually moving to Japan, specifically Karakura. He decided to work on online jobs for the years he’d been in Karakura, but now he’s wishing to go back to working as a caretaker, and what better place to work as one than the local high school where two of his adopted kids go?
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
‘I want to join the staff of Karakura High School as I just feel like I need to be actually doing something, not just working online for jobs and companies I don’t truly feel connected to. It also helps that my two adopted sons go to the high school, so that way I could keep an eye on them to make sure they’re alright and be more connected with and involved in their lives. As well as that, it’d just help to feel more grounded in the community, to feel like I have a place in this town as well as help it grow and become safer.’
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
‘I feel like I should be accepted over other applicants as I have experience actually with this line of work as well as I feel personally connected to the job, with my two boys going to the school. I want to make sure both of them are safe and the school prospers, as I feel like I’m growing slowly more and more attached to the community, almost like it’s one big family to me.’
