Describe your activity on the server:
My activity, if I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a solid 8. I joined SRP back in 2023 and got on the basketball team which I’ve been a part of for three years now. My activity in the last year has been up a lot since I became the captain of my team back in February of 2025. So, I’m on a lot to help out my teammates practice, I roleplay with them whenever I can, and I do my best to expand my horizons in the roleplay overall. JockRP and RivalryRP is something I participate in a lot in recently so whenever I am on, I usually am interacting with as many people as I can. Recently, I’ve been nearing the end of my master’s degree at the University I go to but the last few classes I have to take are online so, I’ve been given an increased amount of time to spend on the server whenever it is needed. If anything seems to change with my schedule in the near future though, I’d be sure to give at least a week or two’s notice to the faction lead.

What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is because I admire the KPD’s roleplay and interactions they get in. I’ve always found it interesting to see the way the KPD interacts with people, whether it be normal situations, gang related situations, or them being involved in arresting people and controlling Icly situations, it’s always been interesting to me. I did want to apply last year when there was an application wave I think during the summer because I have a friend in KPD who recommended me to apply but I was a little nervous too, I didn’t think I’d be able to keep up with the roleplay that goes on but I’ve been working on it in the last six months or so and can fully say I’m now ready to apply. I was also a little nervous on how CombatRP worked but I wanted to try and learn about it, so I took it upon myself to figure it out and seeing it happen against the KPD ICLY was very fun to watch. While the other factions are also interesting, KPD has piqued my interest the most because there’s always something new to do and further expand my horizon in the Roleplay that does happen on the server.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I don't have a lot of knowledge of the Police Work except what is publicly provided through threads. Taking my time to look over these threads and figure out what I can that goes on in the Policing Work; I will list the knowledge I have currently below that includes, rankings, rules, duties, and police equipment!

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Police are important to SchoolRP because it keeps the students and civilians outside of the school safe. Maintaining a balance of order and law-abiding individuals, it allows for more interactions outside of SchoolRP to be safe. Whether it be individual roleplays that go on or group roleplays, it keeps the crime regulated and to a minimum so that the civilians and students can safely go about their day throughout the city. While the crime is high in Karakura, it'd be unsafe for the regular civilians with no policing units to help maintain the order and keep them safe from potential things like violence enacted by gangs, muggings, kidnappings, etc. As long as there are police units around SchoolRP it also helps provide a sense of immersion in the roleplay. It allows for people to get hurt Icly and fully immerse themselves in that situation with the help of KPD and EMS to provide the support that is required to save their character.
Without the KPD, the gangs would run rapidly throughout the town and terrorize the citizens of Karakura. Keeping them from going to school or going outside of their apartments/homes, this wouldn't allow for a very engaging roleplay community outside of the gangs so, with KPD around and EMS around, it allows for a well-balanced and organized community that can roleplay together with both immersion and realistic expectations.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend, or you will be punished?
Yes.

What's your character's full name?
Izawa's gaze fell on the interviewer, assuming that he was being interviewed, a soft but determined look was in his eyes. His posture upright and his focus unwavering, there was no sign of anxious behavior in the way he carried himself. He cleared his throat before answering the question with confidence brimming in his voice. "My name is Izawa Touya, I'm glad to be here."
How old is your character (if accepted)?:
Keeping his eyes focused on the interviewer so as to not be rude, Izawa wondered to himself if he looked older or younger than what he appeared. Fixing his posture again and speaking with confidence once more. "Though it may not look like it or feel like it, I am 28 years of age."
What are your character's gender and pronouns?
Caught off guard a bit, not by the question itself but if he looked masculine or feminine... "I'm a male and I go by He/Him pronouns." His gaze was uneasy but still he managed to compose himself, not thinking too deep on the question any longer. "Thank you for asking."

Sitting upright, his gaze had wandered for a moment as he thought about his schooling life. Returning his attention back to the interviewer, he spoke with confidence once more. "I'm a high school graduate; I did find it a bit hard on what I had wanted to do with my life after High School, but I ended up going to College for a little bit studying Criminal Justice." a small but visible smile appeared on his face, he couldn't have been more happy to have made the decision to return to his schooling life and completing his goals.
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?
Thinking on it for a moment, he had realized that he had been in between relearning his home country's language. "I only speak Japanese as of now, but I am relearning Korean as it has been a bit since I last spoke the language of where I was born."
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Izawa has black hair with a navy-blue hue to it. His eyes were blue and his skin was pale. He stood at 5'11 with confidence and a sense of determination following him wherever he walked. His build, though it was slim, it was very much fit and in shape. A scent of white tea was on the male and in the air when you would walk by him. His sense of determination and confidence had set him apart from others, where most would have given up and been done for good, Izawa continuously pushes towards his goals in hopes of accomplishing them and making his mother and father proud back in South Korea.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Izawa stood up and clasped his hands together, putting them behind his back. "In professional situations, I take into account of everything that's going on around me. Maintaining respect and kindness towards my peers or other civilians around me, I keep my focus on the task at hand, whether it be something that involves work or doesn't involve work, I would like to get things done properly with no issues amongst myself and others." clearing his throat again, he kept his gaze focused on the interviewer. "As for casual situations, I tend to maintain the same respect towards those around me as I would in a professional situation. I am a little more laid back on how I carry myself of course, but overall, I'd like to keep things as calm and peaceful between myself and others."
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Izawa had a gentle smile on his face, his shoulders becoming more relaxed after hearing the question. "I used to not like being around too many people at once and often times I had thought that if anyone were to try and help, they'd get in the way but. ." letting out a sigh, not one that seemed to be exasperated or tiring but one that showed his understanding of why it was important to work with a team. "Throughout my life I have learned that it is always better to have those around you help when they can. Co-workers are a need in a profession like this and the more we have the better it is for us. Teamwork is a necessity as well, when working with your peers, you have a sense of security knowing that someone has you covered in an intense and high stakes situation. Without working as one in a unit, this line of work becomes very dangerous, it's crucial that we work together with our co-workers so that we can protect and serve the community of Karakura safely."

What's your character's backstory?
[0-13] - Childhood/Early Adolescence
Izawa Touya, a baby with pale skin and blue eyes, his hair giving off a navy-blue hue. Born into a working-class family in South Korea, the Gyeonggi district, in the city of Uiwang, his future looked brighter than you could imagine. In his early years growing up, Izawa’s parents, Tominaga Touya and Sugihara Touya, gave him everything he needed and more to prosper in his early stages of life. Showering him with care and affection, though they both had tough and strenuous jobs, the highlight of their life was Izawa. At around the age of five years old, his parents enrolled him into school, making sure that throughout his schooling years, he was focused on maintaining a standard that didn’t fall below what their expectations were. Teaching him how to write, read, speak, and to thrive under pressure, they wanted what was best for Izawa and were sticking to it until the end. Izawa didn’t mind at all and found himself to be thriving in areas that he didn’t originally think he could, enjoying the time as the school days passed. His circle of friends never really seemed to grow or be too huge and it worried his parents, they were thinking that something may be up with Izawa and maybe he couldn’t or just wouldn’t make new friends and want to be around a bunch of people but this couldn’t be any further from the truth. At the age of 11 years old, Izawa’s mother, Sugihara, asked him an important question that she and his father had been thinking about for years now and it was…
“Izawa. . What exactly keeps you from talking to more than the few friends you have?”
*Izawa’s gaze had been focused on the book he was reading that he had pulled off a shelf in the house*
“The people at school are always getting into trouble Mom. . even when they don’t get into trouble, they’re out bullying other kids where they can’t get caught. . why should I be friends with people like that?”
*Sugihara was caught off guard by the response as her son continued to read the book, seemingly getting lost in it. *
When Izawa left the table during this interaction with his mother, she went ahead to check the book he was reading, a book titled “The Plotters” something that would continue to influence his thoughts and decisions from here on out as a sense of justice was slowly being instilled in him.
Turning 13 years of age, Izawa had entered his second year of middle school. His friend group seemed to have thinned out but it didn’t stop him from excelling in his studies. Each day he returned home, he seemed to be more focused on the TV and books that had piled up at his desk. The shows he would watch consisted of nothing more than the policing of South Korea and how the systems worked in the country. With all of these thoughts and ideas floating around in his mind, he asked his parents if he could go to middle school in a small town near Japan called, Karakura, to which of course they replied, yes. Setting off for Japan, he hugged both of his parents and gave his mother the book that she caught him reading that day at the table. Sugihara and Tominaga knew that this was what was best for their son and they would always support his decisions going forward, especially if it was to help him thrive in life.

[13-18] - Adolescent Years
Arriving in Karakura, Izawa had realized that his life, for the most part, would be in his hands alone now so he was determined to stay focused on his academics and set a schedule that would help him achieve his underlying goal. The question that his mother had asked that day at the table had started to resonate with him as time went on. Izawa had made sure to be goal oriented in his stay at Karakura High, not falling behind on any of his work. While in the past he was against making any sort of friends who seemed to bug him, his crowd had expanded. Though it was still relatively small, it was a larger crowd than what he used to have around him in his early years in school. As he continued his days throughout his schooling, he’d often here about the gangs that ran rampant in the town of Karakura, not only did this interest him, but it made him curious as to how the policing and justice system worked in Karakura. Whenever he’d get home from school, he’d complete his homework or any other work that needed to be done and then went straight to the TV to watch and listen to the policing channels. These channels consisted of criminals that were caught and how they were prosecuted, something he paid close attention to. Though Izawa didn’t see any crime himself, he knew it was real in the town he now lived in, hoping that one day he could contribute to solving this problem, he went back to his day-to-day life as a student. Towards the end of his schooling, the questions of “what do you want to do after?” started to be asked by the teachers in the school and the immediate thought that popped in Izawa’s mind was to become an officer, working at the Karakura Police Department. Unfortunately, as good as Izawa was sticking to his studies, his confidence seemed to be lacking, not going off to college to get a degree he graduated High School and had set off for a different path for a short while...

[19-28] - Early Adulthood
Izawa’s life had gone from fixing his eyes on becoming a police officer to now questioning if he could really do it. Since he wasn’t in college, he picked up a job down in the shopping district to pay his bills, of course, he still would tune into the policing channel every now and then, reading his books on criminal justice in his spare time. The thought that remained in his head was “what do you want to do after High School?” and it haunted him, that he couldn’t shake this anxious mindset that had recently developed, “What am I afraid of?” He continuously thought but even so, he still didn’t decide to change his decision. Continuing on in his life, living it out day by day, it started to get stale for him that he didn’t chase his passion.
*His thoughts started to consume him as he was walking down a street late at night after work*
“What did I come here for... Not for this... Life I have now. Where’s the sense of justice I was after... That I once longed for? I wanted more for myself; I wanted to help this city... Why am I so nervous-”
*His thoughts had been cut off abruptly by a group of men who approach him, shoving him down to the ground*
This group of people had been one of the gangs that was mentioned in one of the recent talks on the policing channel Izawa watched. The symbols on their clothing were recognizable, and he started to realize his situation was more dire than ever. Before anything worse could proceed from the group of men that had him cornered, a group of officers had been patrolling the area and ran over to assist in the situation but before they could get there, the entire group of people had run off and disappeared quickly. An officer approached Izawa while he was on the ground, helping him up...
“Are you okay sir?”
“Yea. I’m fine for the most part...”
“Well, that’s good. If you are injured, be sure to call us and we’ll get an EMS unit over to you quickly. Make sure you get home safe.”
*The officer had left and chased in the direction he saw one of the criminals run*
At this moment, Izawa’s thoughts and concerns had all started to clear up. Seeing the officer work efficiently and bring a strong sense of justice in the air when he went to help him get out of his situation he was in, inspired Izawa. The doubts and worries didn’t matter anymore to him, and he immediately rushed home to call his parents. After Izawa had a long conversation with them on what happened, they had agreed to send him money for College, Izawa enrolled and began his studies for a bachelor’s in criminal justice. Each day he went to class, he did his best to surpass his previous expectations that he set for himself and whenever he struggled he could only think of the night that he was saved by that group of patrol officers, not catching the name of the officer he spoke too, he only had a faint memory of a blonde hair male that did his best to provide those in need a sense of safety and justice in a city that was rampant with crime. Izawa had finally gotten his degree finished, four years of Criminal Justice and graduated with a Bachelor’s, something that he couldn’t believe he had done at first, thinking back on the number of doubts he had and how it all disappeared the day he was rescued by the patrolling units in the city.

[28-Present] - Adulthood
With the recent graduation that Izawa had in his Criminal Justice studies, his confidence seemed to shoot through the roof but remaining composed and calm as ever, he found his stride in life. Filling out a job application for the Karakura Police Department, he went off to turn in his application to the front desk at the police station. Once there, he handed it to the first officer he saw. A sense of familiarity hit him when he went to hand the paperwork to the officer...
*The officer took the papers and had gestured a wave off to Izawa, but he couldn’t leave just yet*
“Excuse me but... You look familiar for some reason...”
*The officer seemed to be caught off guard but didn’t do much but offer a smile*
“You might be mixing me up with someone. However, I am Officer Kise, though you aren’t familiar to me, I’m glad you’re attempting to join us and set the city straight, have a good day sir.”
*Izawa turned away, confirming that the officer he just spoke to be the exact same one that saved him all those years ago, the blonde hair and voice was a giveaway*
“Officer Kise... I wonder if he knows how much he changed my life that day... Or if he knows how much I can’t wait to be working alongside him and the other officers.”
*Izawa had left the station, returning home. A few weeks later he was woken up with a phone call by a familiar voice...*
“Hello? This is Izawa Touya, yes? I’m glad to tell you. . .”
*As Izawa put the phone down, his eyes lit up at the news he had just received*

General knowledge
Can you legally own a pocketknife in Karakura?
Izawa cleared his throat, keeping his posture as upright as possible. "No, you cannot. If caught with one, you will be charged with possession of illegal weaponry and sentenced to jail for two months."
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Izawa seemed to be brimming with confidence, shutting his eyes for a moment before he responded. "Five medical items that do not require a prescription would be... paracetamol, aspirin, multivitamins, iron supplements, and melatonin." Pausing for a moment to take a breath, he continued on with his list. "Cough syrup, wooden canes, unbranded bandages, eyepatches, glasses, and hearing aids. I believe that is the list of medical items that you don't need a prescription for."
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
Clasping his hands together, he focused his gaze on the interviewer. "I'd first check to see if my body camera is on, if it wasn't, I'd quickly turn it on and gather the correct tools to assist me in case of anything getting out of control. Quickly, I'd intervene and separate the two, making sure to keep the proper distance between them at all times. The reason for turning my body camera on is to be sure that I have proof of the altercation that took place and just a cautionary measure for the chance of the other officer outranking me, no one may believe what was going on without physical evidence." He'd clear his throat once more, taking a deep breath in and letting it out. "After I break the two up, I'd make sure that the inmate didn't have any critical wounds that needed to be attended to immediately, if all is fine, I'd make sure the wounds that were sustained were taken care of properly. In the case of the inmate being critically wounded, I'd call for an EMS to come and pick up the inmate so they can be taken into the proper care for their wounds. After this, I'd radio for backup and approach my co-worker and make sure they didn't go anywhere until backup had arrived. While it'd be both disappointing to see my co-worker treat an inmate as such, it'd also be very sad to see such an ill-mannered thing happen to someone who was already serving their sentence out. We protect and serve the people of Karakura, even if they are criminals, we do not treat them with such violent acts, especially in this case where they are unarmed and unable to harm an officer."
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
He'd clasp his hands together once more, laying them down in his lap. "I would immediately radio for backup and check to see that my bodycam is on. After I've taken these precautions, I'd grab my stunning device and baton, approaching my co-worker and the target, depending on how many are there, if it were only one, I'd warn them to stand down, or they'd be immobilized by my stun device. Assuming they didn't listen, I'd have to immobilize them and arrest them and prepare to take them to station. Before doing this, I would check on my co-worker, if they weren't responsive, I'd call an EMS unit and wait for them to come get them so they can be taken care of properly and their wounds attended to." placing his hand under his chin, he spoke up a bit more, his tone of voice became more stern. "If there were more than one at the situation, I would attempt to help my co-worker in any way I could, attempting to at the very least pull them out of the situation and wait for back up. While waiting for back up, I'd make sure to tend to their wounds, if the wounds were too much for me to tend to, I'd immediately call an EMS unit to come help. After all of this is settled, I'd be sure that my co-worker was in safe hands and go report the situation to a higher-up."
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
Lightly Izawa would slam his right hand into his left hand that was opened, palm up first. "This is a more serious case and requires a lot of physical evidence and time to gather all the details in order to make the proper report to a higher-up about the situation. Depending on the criminal organization, it'd be risky to try and do anything too forward. While the claim that my co-worker is working and helping a criminal organization is serious, I'd approach one of my co-workers who were in the detective division and ask them for help or to keep an eye on the co-worker and I'd explain my suspicions. While it's important to try and do what we can, teamwork is the most important thing to have when working with KPD, especially in this case. I'd be weary of the rest of my co-workers due to one of them being corrupted, who knows if anyone else is, I'd be sure to report my suspicions and any other evidence I potentially find to my co-worker who works in the detective division. Without teamwork in this situation, it may lead to something extremely bad to happen to myself or others with this co-worker being affiliated with a criminal organization."
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Izawa would wave his hand slightly, affirming his decision if this situation were to ever happen to him. "I'd quickly pull out my notepad and write the criminal a fine for bribery. Reminding them that bribing an Officer is a fineable offense as I handed them the piece of paper with the fine that they had to pay by a certain date. There'd be no need for me to warn them given they don't respect the law enough that they'd stoop so low to bribe an Officer." nodding his head at the end of his sentence, still affirming to himself that he'd never stoop so low to go against the law.
