Which timezone are you in?
Greenwich Mean Time

List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:

Describe your activity on the server:
My activity has remained the same on SchoolRP as much as I would like to believe. This is due to the fact that I am online almost all the time unless an issue has risen and caused me to become unavailable or something has been decided at the last minute. My schedule can alternate between a more British timezone which on occasion I attend a Youth Centre and then a more American schedule which doesn't seem to cause much of an issue. In the case that I need to be inactive for a certain amount of time I would ensure to write out an inactive log and if the reason is a private one I would DM someone in the higher-up team about the issue.

There are various experiences that I've been involved with that I can elaborate on. When we move to experiences I've had. I have been involved with the School Employee Faction. I had a beloved time within the Faction and even now I am involved with it as a continued Caretaker and focus on quota when I am able too. A little while back (in 2020) I had been introduced to GangRP but was in and out of touch with it since. After this in late 2025 I decided to withdraw from it as a whole because I did not find as much within it as I had before, that was until I was invited to Mandate and after a little bit of debate I made the choice to accept such an invitation. I thoroughly enjoyed my time but desire a new direction once more. From time to time I am involved with the shop faction as an employee in Oto-Nashi and The Cursed Charm.

What is your motivation for applying?:
I feel like I have been honoured with the experiences and opportunities that I had been able to have in all the time I've been in SchoolRP but to more specific about the motivation to return. I adored the teamwork that was experienced within the Emergency Faction as a whole and I feel like I missed out on a lot that I could have experienced had I remained within the Faction before. I was welcomed the moment I was accepted in and I feel like that's a feeling that will not be felt elsewhere, including the fact that I've made quite a few close relationships within the Faction that have formed into incredible friendships that I would like to continue to be beside. Of course. It was never uncommon to see people interacting and having a joke around, whether it have been over the radio or in person during an occasional but often patrol. For these two reasons as motivation alone I would love the chance to return but as well to become better than how I am now.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I would love to believe that I have a bit more knowledge when it comes to duties, equipment and procedures due to the fact I've had involvement within the force before. My knowledge is specified to that but it does not mean that it's limited. Of course, below I have added separate charts below about duties, equipment and procedures to express that knowledge further.
DutiesExplanation
PatrollingThis is to ensure that Karakura is as safe as possible and no one is wounded around. Officers will often conduct a patrol around the town to ensure no crime is being committed with certain locations checked more closely.
Handling ReportsIn the case that someone has witnessed or even been the victim of a crime there is a choice to make a report about the incident at Karakura's Police Department or in the case that treatment has been done. An officer will take the report and seek for further information about what happened.
Raiding (Residence)A residence can be raided for a few reasons but the most common would be from someone that's be charged from a weapon related incident. However, another reason could be that sosmoene has been abducted into someone's residence. It's important to know that Town Hall must authorised this movement in order for it to be carried out.
VisitationAfter someone's information has been saved in the database the inmate or someone that knows them are allowed to seek for a visitation with them. An officer is allowed to accept this if another officer is available to offer assistance and if the inmate is not violent. It will be held in the visitation room with the inmate escorted down via one officer and the other searching the visitor. Once done both will be escorted in and the rules will be read out with a 5 OOC minute timer.
GovernmentThis will be in relation to a trial that can have assistance offered out to and Government events that can be hosted between the Government Factions. When someone has been arrested for a crime that was committed and believes that it wasn't them who did it or even that there's no evidence to prove that it was, that individual has the will to plead non-guilty. With this it means that officers are allowed to head over to the Town Hall and provide assistance for the whole duration until the verdict has been decided in case the suspect becomes violent. As well. Sometimes Government or even Faction events restricted to KPD and EMS are hosted and both officers and hospital workers will meet at a pre-explained location.
Front DeskA cadet has been accepted in and no one else is around to have a conversation with them or even take them out on a patrol and there's not much else to do other than remain at the Front Desk to focus on quota that can be obtained from within the station. This cadet will head to the Front Desk and take a seat with a prepared timer for 10 minutes (or use the /time command at the start and end of this time frame) with a screenshot at the start and end to confirm the gained quota towards the month.
MugshotsThis is quite simple. When someone has been arrested for a crime and been marked down into the computer will all the required information as well as informed about their bail amount and how long until someone has been arrested.
Equipment
Stun Blaster
Tranquilliser Gun
Baton
Handcuffs
Pepper Spray

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
It's a bit difficult to add onto this reason because I feel as if I've covered this as much as I can before. Karakura's Police Department and SchoolRP intertwine well with one another due to the increased crime rate and amount of criminal organisations that there are. However. I don't feel like we should have this as a main reason that it's around because there are far more that I could list. Karakura's Police Department are in place to offer our assistance to civilians that need help when a crime has been commited and when someone has been wounded but no one else can figure out who have done it which is specific to the quote around Karakura with "Protect and Serve." that's what they're trained to do. As well. KPD and EMS work together in certain situations because of how dangerous it can be. Such as bear calls. From time to time the Government and Hospital Faction can require assistance from someone when a civilian is being hostile and/or when a trial is hosted.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
I do! I will make sure to be available at the chance it could be hosted while I am online.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Ji-woo Na-ri
image-43.png
A unique feature to this woman would be her optimistic behaviour and the countless freckles and moles that can be seen scattered across her face in a unique placement similar to a star. Her hair is often held in a neat but messed bun when outside of work and is worn in a luxurious colour like a fiery orange, Ji-woo stands at a total height of 5'0. When at home something that Ji-woo can be found doing is cooking a nice warm home cooked meal and catching up on missed out movies. Her physique is on the more heavier side but isn't too bothered with it. A noticeable tattoo can be seen underneath her left ear in the writing '천사' which means Angel in Korean.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Casual
In a casual scene after work Ji-woo would be much more comfortable at home with a warm and homemade meal or even somewhere out alone in Karakura. Whether that be the beach or somewhere that's not too crowded. However. In this Ji-woo can be comfortable experiencing new traditions and religions such as Shintoism. She can often be found talking to Maidens and Priests about their career and becoming close with them on a personal level. Of course. It can depend on their attitude in return. In the case that someone has invited her out whether it have been someone at work or outside that is trusted. She would be more than delighted to accept the invitation to move around with them and explore in or outside of Karakura.

Professional
While that optimistic demeanour will not change and will be open to friendly behaviour behind the station walls to her co-workers. Na-ri can be rather firm in a situation if an attitude like that is needed whether it be in a dangerous situation or someone is being bothersome to law enforcement but can be rather open to conversation with civilians as a whole, while being mindful of time taken because it can be dangerous outside in Karakura whilst in this career. It is known that Government events are hosted between EMS and KPD which will allow Na-ri to communicate with co-workers more often and to crack a joke here and there but if it's a more professional event like a trail then behaviour would remain in check.

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Co-workers
Na-ri has a rather complete understanding that communication has a massive role in this career and is more than welcome to communicate with those around because it can both build and add to a relationship, which in the workplace and in a career like this is an important role. It should not be assumed that all relationships within the force will become or even fall to the same level because that much alone is not true, that's fine too. A positive attitude alone could cause the environment to become a lot better which is more than enough to allow a situation to be handled with ease and all involved to have a level head to conduct accurate police work. Other than this. Ji-woo is more than comfortable to socialise with those around, whether it be to co-workers or civilians.

Teamwork
I suppose it can depend on the issue ahead. She would often prefer to be surrounded with a team rather than work on an issue alone, unless the issue is small and can be handled alone without the assistance of someone else. This career can have a rather negative effect on mental and emotional health which is the same reason that an importance is held to have numerous people around in one situation with a level head to ensure it's handled well. As well. It is known that from time to time an officer will become wounded as a result of a civilian attack. Teamwork can lower the chance of an officer becoming wounded because more often than not a criminal will not attack if that officer is not alone.

What's your character's backstory?
Ji-woo's desire to become an officer was influenced from her father who worked in the Jeonju Dekojin Police Department when Ji-woo was raised with him and her mother. He was an entire role model and this led Na-ri to attend college after high school [18] - [24] and it was then that she decided to focus on three separate degrees in Bachelor's this was specific to Legal Studies, Criminal Justice and Criminology to become an officer in the future. Of course with the guidance of her own father too. It took awhile and countless sleepless nights to succeed with the Bachelor's Degree but in the end Ji-woo managed to score down all three with fairly high marks. After this it was time to settle down for a month and focus on home life which was done being a caregiver to her mother who was and is ill. It was unfortunate but in the end once her mother had recovered Ji-woo decided that it was time to focus on her career and decided to seek out a Police Agency to undergo the required training and meet certain requirements to understand how the police force would work. Ji-woo attend Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency foAfter this it was time to undergo training that would further add to her understanding of how police work was done. So! From [24] to [27] Ji-woo attended at Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency for their 6 month program and had a couple downfalls but managed to overcome them to eventually pass.
In recent times Ji-woo moved to Karakura Japan to focus on her career a while from home with an application sent out to Karakura's Police Department.

General Knowledge

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
No. It will lead to an arrest if someone is found with an item like that on them. As well. There is a collection that can be owned in Karakura without the obvious restrictions and without the need to fear an arrest due to their legal nature. Unfortunately, this does mean that Karakura has a more illegal collection that can be purchased and is more often than not be found on civilians. This law can and does cause an issue but is often resolved without issues.

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
A whole collection in the Hospital is dedicated around medication and medical equipment that is used to offer aid to those in need. Unfortunately, this collection does require a prescription to even be purchased and will often need to be updated after a certain time frame. This should not be a reason to deter from the Hospital alone because there is a smaller collection (which has new added items. WOOHOO!) that can be purchased without one and with certain valid reasons behind a few of them. All that is needed is to appear in the Hospital to have a little chat with someone who works there and BOOM! I have made a chart with medication and/or equipment names and their cost amount(s).
Medication/EquipmentPrice
Unbranded Bandage¥1,000
Paracetamol¥1,500
Cough Syrup¥6,000
Iron Supplements¥2,500
Hearing Aid¥7,000

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
It would be a rather immediate response the moment an issue like this is witnessed. Na-ri would intervene with the altercation and ensure that both have been separated with assistance from another or even a couple more officers. After this, to determine who involved would need consequences in response to the altercation Ji-woo would take a look at the camera located in the same area as well as the camera attached to the officers uniform. In the case that an officer was the one to begin this altercation a report would be made to someone in the higher-up team and allow for that to be handled with whatever consequences were deemed fit with an issue like this. However, if it were the criminal to have initiated this an additional charge to their sentence would be added for Assault on a Government Official.

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
In a situation like this it would be incredible for training to be used. She will not enter the situation alone and would instead radio across to medical and officers about the situation and that extra assistance is required because an officer is wounded. Na-ri would then ensure that all equipment is available for immediate access in the case that more is required to be used. Ji-woo would then call out to the altercation and attempt to scare the criminals from the wounded officer due to the fact that in this case the wounded officer would be far more important than the criminals, all those could he dealt with in the future, with a direction to arriving officers where all of them ran off too. Once it was clear to move in to the wounded officer Na-ri would head across to the wounded officer until a paramedic arrived to aid them and the follow with assistance to the hunt for the culprits.

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
This is would need to be an issue that is handed out to someone who can handle a situation like this. To be more specific Ji-woo would reach out and make a report to either the Captain, a Lieutenant or even a Detective Chief Inspector. This is an issue that would need to be reported to someone who is able to handle a situation like this. To be specific this would be to a Lieutenant or Detective Chief Inspector and even someone above those that can communicate between the higher-ups team about the action that should take place. Whether or not there is evidence that follows with their behaviour Ji-woo would be immediate to contact and make a report about the officers behaviours and suspicious acts. It could become a concern for health with civilians and others in the force if an issue like this is left unreported.

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
It would come as a sudden shock. A feeling that would cease followed with an immediate decline in response to the offer that had been made. Na-ri would let them know that behaviour like this is prohibited and forbidden to be accepted from someone in law enforcement. She would then let them know that further attempts to bribe someone in the department would result in a bribery fine. Which was a common piece of knowledge that seemed to be forgotten within Karakura when it came to those who offered protection. After all, with a crime filled location like Karakura shouldn't it be known that bribes to law enforcement officers is disallowed. Nevermind that. If the criminal decided to continue with an attempt there would be a fine handed out to them. In the end. Ji-woo would be somewhat conflicted with the behaviour of Karakura's civilians but it would become a 'norm' with the more time was spent here.
