Describe your activity on the server:
I am consistently active on SchoolRP for 3 hours minimum daily. Ever since joining in June of 2021, I fell in love with the immersiveness and the community of the server. I have finally reached the tail end of school, which gives me plenty of free time to get on.
For reference, this is my /playtime on my main account:

In my current roles of the server (Caretaker and Club Lead), I’ve always reached quota and never missed a month. If I do have a trip, I always make sure to submit an inactivity log.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I first started playing pretend at a young age, which was my favorite. In August 2018, I first joined Hypixel Housing, discovering roleplay in Minecraft. For the next few years I enjoyed joining worlds and engulfing myself in the magic. However, in 2021 I wanted something more, so I looked up Roleplay based servers and found RoleplayHub.
Highschool Student - A role given to all new players, I’ve played this role the longest. I discovered the server, aging up, and growing with my OCs.
Highschool Student (Journalist) - [Journalist] was my first special role on the server. One of my SRP friends gave me a convincing speech about why I should join the club and although hesitant, I ended up falling in love. I moved up the ranks and have been in the club since Customable was lead. The torch was handed off to the friend, and now..
Highschool Student (Club-Lead) - After my friend became more inactive, I stepped up as Club Lead. I stepped up and started working on the club, giving my members a good experience. It gave me good leadership skills and I had a lot of help from another friend who was also a Club Lead.
College Student (B to PHD) - I was happy to pass the exams, moving on to College B. The next exam, a friend wanted to do exams too so I stood outside the tp box and cheered them on, only to be TPed in myself. I did the exams anyway and ended up passing! I spent a lot of time with my lighting electronics laptop in the college common room, RPing working on my PhD project when that time came. After passing the PHD, I got myself my first Adult role!
Caretaker - My favorite by far. Even though it came with some consequences, such as aging very fast compared to my highschool/college friends. However, being an adult and seeing a different perspective of school was very fun. Being able to have more roleplay opportunities. I find myself taking on a lot of responsibilities, and I never get bored.
Adult - I enjoyed the freedom of roleplaying outside of school with some other adult characters and having the ability to be of any age. It also helps to be a part of a family where I’m able to have my own kids and parent them.
Doctor - In August 2024, I took a leap and applied for Doctor. I had no idea what it was about, due to my characters rarely getting hurt, but I wanted something different and challenging. To my luck, I got in! I was so excited, and I still remember that day. I was able to train, take the test, pass it, and move up the ranks to Attending Doctor. I loved the role, and ever since leaving in November of 2025, I missed it a lot. Some friends of mine joined/are in EMS now, and I have plenty of free time on my hands and will stick with it. I loved this role, but left for a bit since my activity at the time declined.
Animals - I have many animal whitelists, and I enjoyed researching each one to make a good description and get a good idea of how they'd act. My favorites vary depending on what's popular. If I get to choose in general, bird has been my favorite, getting it back when bears were first added as NPCs so I can watch the drama unfold without getting in trouble by KPD!
What is your motivation for applying?
Ever since joining SRP, the [Nurse] role stuck out to me. Being able to take care of people as well as the detailRP involved intrigued me. Although I never applied, I still longed for something like that. After building my characters through school roles, I wanted something different. So I started applying for some positions and was able to enjoy Caretaker, Journalist, Doctor, and Club Lead because of it!
I’m currently a Caretaker and a Club Lead, and since I was a Doctor before, I know the ins and outs of HospitalRP. I miss it a lot and have been watching TV shows: One about an ER, and another about some ther-apist friends. I love how the trainees act, their personalities, and them balancing life with work with friends and family.
Ultimately, my motivation for applying is availability and motivation. I miss the role, and made many friends in SRP who are currently EMS. I’d love to roleplay with them during work, allowing myself to become good workplace friends.
Which role are you applying for?
Doctor
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Director
Rokku Heddo holds this position. Only one person, the lead, gets it. The director makes sure everything is running smoothly, and the person behind the director (OOCly) is a staff member who leads the faction, accepts/denies future applicants, and takes care of any questions people may have. They also let people know when applications are open on the Karakura Emergency Discord!
Doctor
Doctors take care of a range of things. They’re provided with supplies and diagnostic tests (Xrays, MRIs, blood tests, etc) in order to treat patients.
They can do surgeries, which commonly include treating fractured bones and stab wounds. They are also able to complete check ups, pharmacy transitions, prescribe medication and equipment, and attend events.
Psychiatrists
Mental health is as important as physical health. Psychiatrists often are known to be the thera-pists of Karakura. Both listening to patients and treating mental conditions are their specialty. They often give good advice for those who may need it, and can help patients work through their troubles.
Psychs also have other abilities, such as giving patients IVs.
Surgeons (Doctors and Paramedics)
Surgeons are the main ones to perform surgery on patients. Both large and small. Doctors and paramedics are in charge of this.
Paramedics
Paramedics are the emergency related faction members. They rush to scenes in ambulances and take out their first aid kits to take patients to the hospital, and sometimes they may even treat people straight away before transporting them.
Veterinarians (Doctors and Paramedics)
Also known as animal doctors, the role of a vet is to treat patients who can't verbally tell you what's wrong. A vet's job is to make the animal feel safe and secure as they read the body language and feel around for possible issues, like broken bones or fleas. Their job is to take care of people's pets and wild animals like birds alike, making them in good health.
Doctors and paramedics are able to take non-human patients if they feel comfortable with it.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I understand.

Character Backstory (Optional):
Haru Sunada was born the only child on a calm spring day. He was taken home to a small apartment with a balcony full of plant life, blooming from every angle. He was able to live with his parents and his maternal grandparents. The name fit him, meaning spring, as he grew up loving plant life and animals, and would spend each day playing outside ever since he learned to crawl. His mother, Natalia La Rossa Sunada, was someone Haru grew close to as she was home to take care of him, as opposed to his father, who was a highly demanded paramedic. The smoothness of her voice attracted Haru no matter what he was doing. The first three years his life ran quite smooth before his little brother was born. When she found out she was pregnant, Natalia took a job in serving tables. She was home less, so for those eight months, Haru was trapped with his grandparents, who coddled him and spoiled him beyond belief. Haru enjoyed this, especially during his baby brother's nap times, where he was able to receive all of the attention.
As he grew older, he found value in good grades. His parents rewarded him with ice cream (gelato), and trips to the toy store. He noticed his brother struggling with homework, so he stepped in to help, showing off his knowledge. It gave him confidence, and he took a liking to helping others. As he continued through grade school, he remained a high achiever, making his family proud, especially his father who told him "I can see a good future in you, kid." Haru loved making his parents and grandparents proud, so strived to be just like his father, a respected man with a high education.
At the age of 12, Haru and his mother were driving before they got hit, spinning out and into a tree. His father was amongst the first responders to the scene, unaware the call he received was about his own family. They both were transferred to the hospital after using the jaws of life. Haru's mother was in rough shape, as well as Haru himself, suffering bad whiplash, a head injury, and two broken legs. He stayed in the hospital for a week, being visited by his grandparents, father, and little brother, 9 at the time. When he was discharged, he was put on bed rest in his room, where his brother tended to visit so they could play together. Once their mother was out of the hospital, they were able to return as a family, but things were different since then.
Haru’s father took a month off of his job to care for his family at home. He’d spend lots of time in Haru’s bedroom, grabbing what he needed and installing a television in his room. His brother Oli grew jealous and strayed away from the two, gravitating towards his mother. Flash forward 6 months of mental and physical recovery, they were good to return to their normal jobs and school. Haru was glad to be back, although he struggled with his memory which caused his grades to plummet.
During high school, Haru had to get creative when it came to his studies. He used visual representations of concepts, such as blocks and clay, building and acting out concepts he learned in biology, history, and math class. His grades still suffered (at least in his eyes), getting Bs and Cs rather than his previous straight As. His parents were still proud, helping him study everyday after school.
When it came to college, Haru was deadset on getting a biology degree. He enjoyed the class in high school, and knew it was the best path in order to become someone who he was proud of. He constantly brought visual aids to class, molding DNA with play dough, coloring each piece. He’d use building blocks of different shapes and sizes to group different types of bones, organs, and joints. He’d mold clay into long snakes, winding them up and down to represent arteries. He was confident, getting by with homework and online videos. Tests were a different story, however. He struggled to remember names of things without the visuals he created. He got nervous with the long tests, typically taking the class up to 2 hours to complete. For him, it took longer.
‘C’s get degrees’
Haru Sunada was called over the speakers, being handed his bachelors diploma. He raised it high, gleaming at his achievement. 4 years of college and he finally got it. He was finished until he wasn't. Back in school he went, sticking with biology for two additional years in order to be right back up on that stage, twirling a wrapped up Masters degree between his fingers, a red bow tied neatly to it. He was ready for med school now.
Long awaited years, sleepless nights, semesters upon semesters of memorizing terms, critical thinking, and panic inducing scenarios. He barely spoke to his family while he lived in a run down apartment, his bedroom consisting of a mattress, lamp, a dresser, and a TV mounted on top of the dresser’s cardboard box. He was content with his room, considering the amount of sunlight he got, allowing him to adopt some houseplants to decorate his minimal space with. After he passed his med exam, he was finally able to move back home to start his residency in his father’s workplace.
His father was rough with him, tough love as they say. He’d fire questions his way, occasionally switching to Japanese (his native language), in order for Haru to match the meanings of both. He was constantly under a lot of pressure, getting nervous while his father watched. He wanted things to be perfect, if a knot was a bit off, he’d have Haru redo it. Haru eventually learned how to work quickly under pressure, now able to get his first job.
He applied to Karakura Hospital in Japan after talking it over with his brother, who moved to Japan while Haru was in school. A small city on a small island, but his brother convinced Haru that it was perfect, since many high school aged kids would visit in critical condition. His brother, Oli, offered his apartment rent free so they can be roommates. Little did Haru know, Karakura was a rough place with lots of crime, and Oli’s shift in behavior since he saw him in person last made him aware. Too aware.
He stuck with it, his first day on the job coincidentally falling on his 29th birthday. He was ready to get started, quickly learning the ins and outs of the hospital. He did well, sticking to it for a long while. Unfortunately for him, Haru was so engaged with his work, he never took time to make friends outside and socialize. He was burnt out, spiraling.
His brother took note, and finally convinced him to take a break. During that break, Haru was able to meet some interesting people. Notably a girl who he fell head over heels with. He met some of her family, and some were beyond nice whilst some disliked him right off the bat. He tried not to take it personally, and he was able to ask out the girl with success. Haru was content with his life at this point, enjoying his freedom and buying himself a nice car. However, months passed by and he started longing for the ability to help others and challenge his mind.
He was the type of guy to want to be busy with plans, a calendar filled up every hour of every day. The free time he gained caused him to hangout by the hospital, looking at hospital pamphlets, and logging on the website at the applications. He was going crazy, longing for the applications to open in order to revisit his worklife and meet new people who shared his expertise.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Haru chose his specialty in Family Medicine, a broad range of things for all ages. He focuses on child development as well as making people of all ages feel assured they’re in the right hands. Haru chose this because he was interested in a bit of everything, minus the quick decisions emergency medicine involves themselves in. He knows if he studies a bit of everything, he can worry less about his close ones.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Yes. Haru took his residency in Naples, Italy in the same hospital as his father, who works as a paramedic in Emergency Medicine. He was guided through his first real experiences by him, and it made his confidence spike. Once he finished, he transferred to Karakura Hospital as a doctor. His brother Oliver offered him a room in his apartment until Haru got situated and comfortable. Haru worked as a doctor in Karakura from April to the end of November (OOCly). He took a year off to focus on his mental health and to get his footing again.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Art by Destinsy

Haru possesses long, silky blonde hair that is often put up in a ponytail. He often fidgets with it if he’s nervous, and recently was given a basket full of high-end hair care products that he uses regularly. Even if they cost an equivalent of 6,000 USD a year. His eyes, like his mother, are a light shade of sky blue. He often wears contacts but when he first wakes up or feels lazy, he wears his clear jelly glasses, which fit well with his overall style.
When he was born, Haru was the golden child. Not only was his blonde hair a physical reminder of that, but he was smothered by his family’s love and attention. Spoiled as one can say. When he receives compliments, no matter by who, his face always turns a deep shade of pink, often causing him to ‘short circuit’ stumbling over his words, “Oh! Aheh, thanks!” He grew up academically gifted, getting rewards and praise for each S he received. He looked up to his father as he grew older, wishing to be just like him.. A paramedic. However when that time came, he found it awkward working in the same hospital, so transferred to Karakura where his brother resides.
When around others, he would appear soft and somewhat sensitive when it comes to emotions. However, when someone is in need of his help, or if he’s talking about things relating to his specialty, he snaps into a calm demeanor, ready to assist. Haru’s also quite clumsy, once dropping a sharp object on his soon-to-be girlfriend. Embarrassed, he was still able to use at home methods to fix her up, doing anything in his power for her to forgive him.

Upon opening up a fortune cookie, Haru read these very words: An old love will come back to you. His heart raced, mind jumping to his career. ’This implies I can return to my love of work, right?’ He munched on the cookie, although tasting rough and uninteresting, as the prophecy states it won’t come true until you eat the cookie. Haru always preferred his grandmother’s chocolate chip cookies.
How does your character act around the hospital?
When not busy, Haru often will be seen interacting with his co-workers. He likes to go shopping online and asking others about different outfits and accessories he finds, he also talks about it with others as well. He’s optimistic and bright, encouraging others if they need it. When patients arrive in the hospital, Haru’s found at the front desk, waving at those coming in. Whether they’re stopping by to say hello, asking for a check up, or to visit a friend in recovery, Haru’s always smiling and happy to help. When it comes to emergencies, Haru is able to drop anything he’s doing and take care of the emergency as soon as possible. A light switches in him, going straight into care mode. He takes them to the right room without a sound, being amongst the first ones to act in such a dire situation.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Despite needing alone time to recharge his batteries, he’s great at socializing. He functions well in both scenarios, but overall feels comfortable on his own. Once he finds his own rhythm, he’s able to use his expertise in treating the patient. With others, however, he’s able to split the work which allows his head to clear up, knowing someone is there to assist.
