Backstory:
Neo came from a small orphanage in the United States that was closed down due to the lack of funds. Neo, along with the other orphans, were never allowed to step outside the house, he usually spent his time drawing landscapes of cities and forests, and wondered how it would be to explore those places, he then discovered traditional animation, which was drawing frames by hand in thin paper and putting them together to create the illusion of movement. After that, it was his way to recreate what was outside the house in a more lively way.
Nobody really talks about each other's parents or their lives before they got to the orphanage, But Neo's case was different. He's the only one who has lived there since he was born, which is why he was so curious about the world outside the house. The people in charge of the orphanage say that Neo's parents put him in the orphanage because they weren't financially safe, but there's rumors that they were, if so, nobody would really know the reason why they lied. This however didn't bother Neo, he says that he's not interested in finding out about his parents, they're just strangers to him.
Years later, the orphanage had to close down and all the orphans were sent to different locations, this is when Neo arrived to Japan, and started to see the world he's been missing out on, making new friends and learning how to survive as an independent student. He couldn't be in a better place than here.

Chapter 1
The train was empty, it seemed like he was heading to a ghost town, he started to get nervous but at the same time excited about living in a town he's never heard of before. The train arrived to it's destination, and the doors slowly opened, the soft smell of cherry blossoms rushed into the train making him quickly walk out of the train being lured by it.
Neo arrived to Karakura.
He started his first day of school and met a few students there he found friendly. As Neo was walking through the side of the school building near a pool, he saw a young man sitting on the window looking towards his direction.
"Don't jump!" Said Neo in a joking tone.
"It's only 2ft." Said the young man.
Neo started laughing and asked for his name,
His name was Alek. They presented themselves to each other and talked about how things were going in school until the next class period started.
The next day before school, Neo was sitting at the center of town in front of the school, where there would be a green circle with wild vegetation growing. As he was eating some peach treats and writing in his diary, a girl ran past him whining about not having any friends as she laid on the floor. Neo thought it would be a good idea to approach this girl since he didn't really have that many friends, little did he know that this girl was going to play a big part of his life in Karakura.
Her name was Kanna, a 12th grader.
"Hey, I'll be your friend " said Neo.
They started talking and they entered the school together, Kanna asked Neo to sit on the stairs near the entrance of the school building, as he sat down, Kanna climbed up his lap. Are you sitting on my lap?! Said Neo in a confused and nervous tone.
"I'm keeping you safe" said Kanna.
Neo stayed in since, he was still new to Karakura so he had no idea to what the danger was, especially in school grounds.
As the days went by, Neo became closer to Kanna soon becoming bestfriends. They would always hangout together during and after school. One day, Kanna told Neo that she had join a family, The Kamodo's.
She took Neo to meet them and they seemed like good people. While in her family's apartment, Kanna told him that she got a boyfriend. And that she would like them to meet.
They all went out to the balcony of the building where a man with white hair would be sitting in a small coffee table. His name was Damien. He says he used to be part of a family gang, not many people liked him.
Days later, Kanna told Neo that she was pregnant, and that her relationship with Damien wasn't going well. Neo was there for her, until he saw her hurting herself to get the attention of her boyfriend. After seeing this, he made Kanna promise him that she would never hurt herself or her baby again. The promise was made, and Neo felt relief.
As days went by, he started talking to Amaya, one of Kanna's sisters, they started to hang out more and more often.
Neo eventually fell in love with Amaya, and they became a couple.
A few days later, Kanna told Neo that Amaya was done with him over the phone. She showed him a picture of Amaya sitting next to another guy, his face wasn't very clear, but he seemed to be a college student.
Neo didn't really understand what was happening, he later saw Amaya sitting outside the school gates, he quietly approached her and sat next to her.
"Why did you do it?" Was Neo's first words.
Amaya admits that she cheated on him and explains that she isn't good for him because of her alcohol addiction and that she wishes to not hurt him emotionally.
"I'm not good for you" said Amaya.
"No one is!" yelled Neo as he got up and ran away. He was running past the shopping district when he ran into someone selling some kind of alcoholic drink imported from France. He purchased a bottle from the stranger and continued running until he got to the fishing pond. He saw Kanna and her new boyfriend Luma, there fishing.
He sat down on the grass and told them what happened. Luma felt bad for him and tried to cheer him up. As he was talking, Neo opened the alcoholic drink and started drinking it, Kanna told him to stop, and tried to take the bottle from him, she couldn't. Neo got very drunk after he finished the bottle in big gulps. He doesn't remember what happened after that. He woke up in a small gazebo in the cherry blossom forest with Kanna laying next to him. He struggled to get up and step outside, Kanna woke up right after and told him that her and Luma broke up. Neo didn't really talk to anyone after that day.
Days went by and all that he did was run around Karakura, he was no longer doing it to become faster, but to get his mind off of things, he felt broken.
It was the day of the winter ball, Neo decided to go and try to talk to some friends, he ran into one of Amaya's friends, he sat down next to her and started talking about how things have been going with each other's lives. Soon after, Amaya walked towards them, without saying anything, she grabbed her friend's hand and dragged her away towards the inside of school. Jacob, a good friend of theirs, sat next to him. Neo told him how he's been feeling lately, that he's upset, sad, mad, it was hard for him to explain, and confessed about having thoughts of killing Amaya because the pain she caused him, Jacob didn't really know what to say, Neo told him that he wouldn't hurt anyone, unless he has to. The ball was starting in 5 minutes, Neo entered the ball room, Jacob had to call someone, so they were going to meet inside. Neo looked around for any of his friends, he started to feel uncomfortable due to the large amount of people there, so he decided to sit in one of the big spacious tables and thought about saving some seats there for his friends.
After a few minutes, he heard Amaya's voice on the table behind him, he turned around and saw her and a few of their friends on the table. Neo sat quietly and tried to listen to the conversation, he heard Amaya saying that she was sad and that she wanted to go home. Neo got up, he walked towards the group, and dropped one of the toys he had in his backpack, it was a rubik's cube. Jacob saw the cube fall next to him and turned to Neo,
"Oh, hey Neo"- said Jacob.
Neo just turned around and ran outside without saying anything, once he got out the building, he texted Amaya "I hope the cube cheers you up..." and turned off his phone for the rest of the day.
The next day... Neo was at his worst state, he was sitting on a bench in the shopping district for hours, he was shaking, he was fighting with his mind, a part of him had the urge of the blood of Amaya and Kanna, those who have hurt him emotionally. But another part of him still loved them, they might have hurt him, but they are still friends.
After a while, he called someone who works in the black market. He asked the dealer if they could meet up, so they did. Neo bought a wooden bat, he had the idea of calling Amaya to meet him in a maze located behind the school, and break her skull with the bat.
He took out his phone with his hands shaking violently, he struggled to stop himself, he finally put his phone in his backpack and ran back to the shopping district. On the way back, he ran into Amaya and Jacob. Neo, while shaking, slowly walked towards them and told Jacob to help him.
Neo guided him to an abandoned room in the sewers, and asked him to lock him in. He told him to not let him near Amaya, that he is struggling to control himself and that he doesn't want to do something he regrets.
Jacob locked him in with some food he had, and left.
Neo stayed in the dirty room for a while, he was curled up on the ground with his hands covering his head, he started crying.
After a few minutes, he got up, and used the bat to break the door to get out. He walked back to the shopping district with his head down and the bat in his hands. He ran into Amaya and Jacob, he asked them if they could take him to the hospital. Jacob carried him on his back to the hospital with Amaya following. As they were waiting for the psychiatrist to attend them, Kanna called Neo and asked where he was, she met him in the hospital and took the bat from him to avoid him losing control and try to hurt anyone.
Neo was taken to a room with the psychiatrist, he told her everything that happened that lead him to this state, she asked if he had considered leaving his friends. Neo said that he was afraid of being alone. She told him that he could meet new people in school.
Neo left the hospital without saying a word.
The next day he tried to make new friends, things started going well, he got in good terms with Amaya and stopped hanging out with Kanna as much. He made new good friends. Neo was happy again.
Chapter 2
(Weeks later)
On a cold afternoon, Neo was doing his regular hobby, fishing. As he was relaxing at the edge of the fishing pond near the beach entrance, two of his new friends showed up, Siouxsie and Katherine. They sat down together and talked about how life's been going, it was a peaceful time.
One day Neo and many of his friends decided to go to the hot springs in the mountains. As they were relaxing with their feet in the water, Ivan talked about how his relationship has been feeling distant. Everyone agreed that Ivan's relationship should end since him and his girlfriend are never spending time together, Neo stayed quiet until Ivan left with his mind made up.
Once he left, Neo said, "I think it's more complicated than that, we can't always be with the people we love because we all have our own lives, responsibilities", he would make a short pause and sip from an energy drink he had, "I think what matters is that you both want to be together, even if you can't".
Neo wasn't feeling well, he started to miss Amaya once again, it got to the point where he didn't want to live anymore. One day he went to the light house after a normal day with Amaya, he got a phone call from Siouxsie, she asked him if he was feeling ok, he told her that he was "going to do it".
Siouxsie panicked and rushed to the light house. When she got there, Neo told her that he was ready to jump, Siouxsie tried to convince him to stop, and she punched him in the face in order to get him away from me edge of the lighthouse. Neo looked down the long staircase down the light house and said, "only one more step".
Siouxsie, was tired of hearing the things he was saying, so she charged him in full force to the wall and started beating him until she knocked him out. Siouxsie panicked after realizing what she did, she tried to carry Neo down the lighthouse. She struggled with each step she took, until she fell, both of them rolled to the bottom of the stairs, her leg let out a loud SNAP as Neo landed next to her. She screamed in agony and slowly closed her eyes as she looked at Neo knocked out with a bloody face, she fainted.
After a while, Neo woke up, in a small puddle of his own blood from his face. He thought that he had succeeded to jump off the stairs to end his life. He then noticed that Siouxsie was laying next to him. He saw that she was hurt because of all the bruises on her body. He got up and carried her on his back to the hospital. Once they got there, Neo layed her on a bench and he drop to the floor in exhaustion. Before he fainted, he saw many of his friends running towards him and Siouxsie in the hospital hall, Neo with his face dripping blood and a single tear running down his cheek he said " you all came", he gave a small smile right before he fainted.
After a few hours, Neo woke up with bruises around his face, a purple eye and a small brain injury, and Siouxsie now had to use crouches for a few weeks, his friends took him and Siouxsie outside the hospital and sat down on the stairs. Neo explained what happened and how he's feeling lead up to this. All his friends told him that they will be th here for him, and they all gave him their numbers to stay connected with each other. His friends then carried away to one of there houses and spent the night together.
The next day, Neo was recommended by a doctor and a psychiatrist to take a break from everything and to stay away from Amaya, since she seems to be what triggered the traumatic emotions. He then said goodbye to as many friends as he could before leaving Karakura and to travel to Italy, where he met his biological father and started his healing process as he worked in a small jewelry store owned by his father. He said that he would return to Karakura once he felt better, only time would tell when.
Chapter 3..WIP
After a few months, Neo returned to Karakura, he was feeling better and was happy to see his friends again in school. With the money he earned from working in his father's store, he was able to get a big apartment in the same building as Amaya and Ivan. When he met up with them for the first time after his return, Neo told them that he was feeling better, and that the doctors told him that his feelings for Amaya were fake, those feelings he had were caused by his brain injury. Amaya left after he told them that. Ivan turned to Neo and called him an idiot for telling her that, he didn't know that Amaya was going through break up, and that the feeling he had for her were a positive thing to her. Neo then talked to Amaya and apologized for what he said. Ivan suggested Neo to give her some time and to talk to Siouxsie because she had romantic feelings for Neo.
Neo when to Siouxsie's apartment which was the building next to his. He got to her door and knocked. Siouxsie opened the door door in shock, her eyes wide open and not a word being said, "I can always count on you for a warm welcome" said Neo. He noticed that she was wearing the hoodie he gave her before leaving. Neo was happy to see her again and gave her a long hug. After talking for a while, he kissed her cheek goodbye and left.
On the next day, Neo met up with Siouxsie at the school gates and they went together to the gym. They sat on the bleachers and talked about starting a relationship, Siouxsie said she wanted some time, they both agreed.
When meeting up with Amaya one day, he met a guy named Rin, they became good friends and started to talk more often.

Everyone agreed that Ivan's relationship should end since him and his girlfriend are never spending time together, Neo stayed quiet until Ivan left with his mind made up.
Once he left, Neo said, "I think it's more complicated than that, we can't always be with the people we love because we all have our own lives, responsibilities", he would make a short pause and sip from an energy drink he had, "I think what matters is that you both want to be together, even if you can't".
Neo wasn't feeling well, he started to miss Amaya once again, it got to the point where he didn't want to live anymore. One day he went to the light house after a normal day with Amaya, he got a phone call from Siouxsie, she asked him if he was feeling ok, he told her that he was "going to do it".
Siouxsie panicked and rushed to the light house. When she got there, Neo told her that he was ready to jump, Siouxsie tried to convince him to stop, and she punched him in the face in order to get him away from me edge of the lighthouse. Neo looked down the long staircase down the light house and said, "only one more step".
Siouxsie, was tired of hearing the things he was saying, so she charged him in full force to the wall and started beating him until she knocked him out. Siouxsie panicked after realizing what she did, she tried to carry Neo down the lighthouse. She struggled with each step she took, until she fell, both of them rolled to the bottom of the stairs, her leg let out a loud SNAP as Neo landed next to her. She screamed in agony and slowly closed her eyes as she looked at Neo knocked out with a bloody face, she fainted.
After a while, Neo woke up, in a small puddle of his own blood from his face. He thought that he had succeeded to jump off the stairs to end his life. He then noticed that Siouxsie was laying next to him. He saw that she was hurt because of all the bruises on her body. He got up and carried her on his back to the hospital. Once they got there, Neo layed her on a bench and he drop to the floor in exhaustion. Before he fainted, he saw many of his friends running towards him and Siouxsie in the hospital hall, Neo with his face dripping blood and a single tear running down his cheek he said " you all came", he gave a small smile right before he fainted.
After a few hours, Neo woke up with bruises around his face, a purple eye and a small brain injury, and Siouxsie now had to use crouches for a few weeks, his friends took him and Siouxsie outside the hospital and sat down on the stairs. Neo explained what happened and how he's feeling lead up to this. All his friends told him that they will be th here for him, and they all gave him their numbers to stay connected with each other. His friends then carried away to one of there houses and spent the night together.
The next day, Neo was recommended by a doctor and a psychiatrist to take a break from everything and to stay away from Amaya, since she seems to be what triggered the traumatic emotions. He then said goodbye to as many friends as he could before leaving Karakura and to travel to Italy, where he met his biological father and started his healing process as he worked in a small jewelry store owned by his father. He said that he would return to Karakura once he felt better, only time would tell when.
Chapter 3..WIP
After a few months, Neo returned to Karakura, he was feeling better and was happy to see his friends again in school. With the money he earned from working in his father's store, he was able to get a big apartment in the same building as Amaya and Ivan. When he met up with them for the first time after his return, Neo told them that he was feeling better, and that the doctors told him that his feelings for Amaya were fake, those feelings he had were caused by his brain injury. Amaya left after he told them that. Ivan turned to Neo and called him an idiot for telling her that, he didn't know that Amaya was going through break up, and that the feeling he had for her were a positive thing to her. Neo then talked to Amaya and apologized for what he said. Ivan suggested Neo to give her some time and to talk to Siouxsie because she had romantic feelings for Neo.
Neo when to Siouxsie's apartment which was the building next to his. He got to her door and knocked. Siouxsie opened the door door in shock, her eyes wide open and not a word being said, "I can always count on you for a warm welcome" said Neo. He noticed that she was wearing the hoodie he gave her before leaving. Neo was happy to see her again and gave her a long hug. After talking for a while, he kissed her cheek goodbye and left.
On the next day, Neo met up with Siouxsie at the school gates and they went together to the gym. They sat on the bleachers and talked about starting a relationship, Siouxsie said she wanted some time, they both agreed.
When meeting up with Amaya one day, he met a guy named Rin, they became good friends and started to talk more often.
