Describe your activity on the server:
I haven't spent a great deal of time on the server; however, during my time here, I have primarily focused on learning the roleplay aspect. I've taken the opportunity to settle in and find my comfort zone within the server. Now that I am starting to enjoy roleplay, I wish to expand my experience by taking on this role and exploring a new setting for roleplay.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A receptionist is the first person anyone interacts with when entering the school. Their job is to welcome people, answer questions, provide guidance for students, and manage basic info. Receptionists should always be calm, respectful and be professional while handling situations. They help provide a welcoming environment and also make sure communication between school staff and students goes smoothly.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I've been playing SRP since 2020. I was very active during 2020 and spent about a year playing on the server. I lost access to my old account after Minecraft accounts were migrated to Microsoft and wasn't able to recover it. I'm continuing on a new account, but I still have the knowledge and experience I gained from my previous time on SRP.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to join the School Employee faction because I enjoy roleplay that involves helping create immersive scenarios. I think the receptionist role would allow me to interact with many different characters and help make the school feel more active and realistic. I also want to contribute to the faction and help create enjoyable experiences for students.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?
My character would remain calm and professional. Naoya would remind the student that disrespectful language is not acceptable and ask them to communicate in an appropriate manner. If the student refused to listen, Naoya would give them a warning, and if they continued with their behavior, he would issue detention.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?
My character would immediately step in to stop the fight before it gets any worse. Naoya would firmly tell the students to stop fighting and separate themselves from each other. After making sure the situation is under control, he'd speak to both students about their actions and inform them that fighting is unacceptable on school grounds. Naoya would issue both students detention as a consequence for their behavior and would document the incident.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?
My character would take the situation seriously and not ignore it. Naoya would first approach the employee and explain that their actions are unsafe and could but others at risk. If the employee continued and refused to correct their behavior, Naoya would report the situation to his supervisor.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
My character would act professional while taking time to relax from his duties. He would be friendly with other employees and engage in conversation. Naoya values building positive relationships with his coworkers because he believes it makes the workplace more enjoyable to help everyone to work better together. Even while taking a break, Naoya always remains mindful of his position as a staff member.

/me sits behind the reception desk while reviewing the school schedule for the day, organizing the paperwork into the correct folders and making sure all important info is ready before students arrive.
/me looks up from the computer as a student approaches the front desk, offering them a welcoming smile before politely asking what they need assistance with and listening carefully to understand their situation.

Backstory

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
Naoya Kanzaki was born and raised in Karakura, Japan. From a young age Naoya was known as a quiet but respectful person who always treated others with paitence and kindness. Growing up, he was taught the importance of responsibility and helping people around him. These values stayed with him as he got older and became a major part of his personality.
During his school years Naoya was a hardworking student who enjoyed subjects involving communication. He was often the type of person classmates would go to when they needed help because he was reliable and always willing to listen. After graduating highschool Naoya decided to continue his education and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
After completing his education, Naoya spent several years working in administrative jobs around Japan. His jobs involved handling schedules, customer assistance, and communicating with people on a daily basis. Through these experiences Naoya developed strong problem solving skills and learned how to remain calm in stressful situations.
Although Naoya enjoyed his previous work, he wanted a career where he could be more involved with the community. He believed schools were an important part of society because they shape the next generations, so he decided to apply for a receptionist position at Karakura Highschool.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I believe I should be accepted because I am dedicated, active, and will put a lot of effort into this character and role. Naoya is someone who values professionalism and helping others, which are both important qualities for a receptionist. I have experiences with serious roleplay and understand the importance of creating an immersive experience. I will stay active within the faction and help create a welcoming environment at KHS.
