Patch Notes • 3.51
As many of you already know we recently made the upgrade to 1.17 which offers a far more stable server & gameplay for everyone. Alongside the version change, we've also made a whole host of updates from animals to chat along the way which I'm sure many of you will enjoy. Got any ideas for future updates, or something you'd like to see changed? Submit a feedback thread!
Note: We're working on getting Wardrobe & Vehicles working within the next few days.
Server Changes
Below is a list of implemented changes made to SchoolRP within the last month.
Updates
- We updated from 1.13.2 to 1.17.1 Minecraft, meaning you can use all of the new blocks & items in-game.
- You can use hexadecimal colour codes in chat (&#<value>).
- You can focus on a specific players in chat using /focus.
- Fishing has been reworked with new rewards and rarities; old rods no longer work.
- AFK detection has been improved, now appearing in your player description for other players if you're idle for longer than 10 minutes. Your grading and allowances will also pause when you're AFK.
- Baseball is in the beta phase and has been upgraded with new features & better detection.
- Players can now respond when staff send them direct messages by clicking '[Reply]'
- Items are now categorised by their type, e.g. 'Weapon', 'Miscellaneous', etc.
- Food, Drink & Alcohol items all have their statistics listed in the item lore.
- Vending machines now allow bulk purchases of food items.
- Players now automatically receive their Animal Whitelist upon purchasing it without the need of a role request.
- We added new Animal Whitelists: Bear, Fox & Bee.
- We added new variants to the Bird, Cat & Dog whitelists.
- Players can no longer roll unnecessary amounts above 200.
- We added new roleplay lighting effects for the Nightclub, Events, and more.
- You can now read all of your phone notifications at once with a click of a button.
- Period 1 has been changed to become 'Study Time'.
- The 'Update Timeline' system has been abolished and replaced with 'Patch Notes'.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the in-game settings star to include relevant information, it will no longer glitch into your inventory.
- Items should no longer randomly glitch upon adding new vehicles.
- Fixed ranks, prefixes and roles randomly disappearing.
- Phone commands can now be tab completed.
- Fixed /am command overwriting shoes.
- Fixed Lunchtime displaying incorrectly.
- Links are now clickable in chat.
- Fixed issues with /setage.
Faction & Community Changes
Below is a list of changes made to server factions within the last month by our faction leaders.
School Factions
- A new book has been added to the School's library.
- Examinations scheduled for the 26th of February.
- School Clubs have been capped at 10 clubs maximum.
- ALL School Club rooms have been moved to the second floor.
- Added additional Highschool Teacher slots for for English, Science and Performing Arts.
- Swim team slots were raised to 8 members for both Highschool & College teams.
- Track team slots were reduced to 8 members for both Highschool & College teams.
City Factions
- Police will now only confiscate bats if they have blood/unusual dents.
- Hospital Staff now have access to use breathalysers In-Character.
- There are now 3 attending (trainer) positions in each Hospital department.
- The Government's Town Hall has been completed re-made.
- Additional positions for Lawyer have been opened.
- Lawyers are now able to get involved when someone is detained by Police.
- An additional 2 positions for Shopkeeper will be filled by the end of the month.
- A new spray system in the Crime Discord will be rolled out within the next week.
Community & Staff Team- 5 Event zones have been released (Train Station, Hot Springs, Gymnasium, Lighthouse & Powerplant).
- Folk Lore projects will be demonstrated through this month and March.
- Mxxkie has passed his trial period, and has been promoted to Moderator.
- rinis has been promoted to Administrator.
- glowss has been brought on as Trial Moderator.
