So, I went into Minecraft one day, and I wanted to play SchoolRp. BUT! It wasn't playable for the most recent version. (1.21.4) I don't wanna go back in-between versions, and I just wanna be able to play one of my favorite servers on the most recent version. Thanks for your time!

How will this benefit the server and community?:
I feel like some people would like it too! It would be EXTREMELY helpful, and people could do SO much more with some of the things that are new in the update (pale oak log, pale oak wood, etc.)

I am sure it will slowly go to 21.4 with time, but your best bet is to switch your version down until they do so. We just went to 21.2 not to long ago

Changing the server version of Minecraft can be a more difficult thing than most think. It requires a lot of plugin updating, changing of code, etc. This is most likely why the server version updates are waited for. The last thing we want is for the version to change and update, then a lot of plugins breaking again and have it unplayable. As Dark said above, it will probably happen, but will most likely be a little while until a bigger Minecraft update comes out as the server only just recently upgraded to 1.21.1 :)

1.21.4 is compatible with 1.21.3 servers, I believe that is not that difficult.

Just adding on to what others have said..
We just went through a version update back in September where we went from 1.19 to 1.21.1, and the staff and dev teams are still fixing and adjusting plugins and other things which broke during the update merge. Updating versions takes a lot in all aspects to go through, it will be unlikely for awhile if ever that 1.21.4 will work as it's best to stay as close to the version the server updates too as possible and usually better to go older than newer if the exact version the server uses doesn't work for you. Unless something major happens, it will more than likely be awhile before we see an update in server version again.

It technically does work, however I'd advise not using it since you wouldn't get many options for mods and optimizations if you use Curseforge or Feather
