Hi, my name is Chris, and I play as Ikaia Ka’uhane on the server. My username is ScxrsRP. I’d like to point out some strange occurrences that have been happening to me lately, mostly of the staff ignoring me or putting me below others. This is in no way an attack at the staff. I love the staff so much, and in my opinion, is one of the best staff teams I have seen for a minecraft server. However; the stuff that I have had to deal with in the past month is outrageous.
The first thing that happened was my teacher application, that I posted on the 7th of April. I worked 10 hours writing that, from 9pm to 7am. I got caught by my mother, who had woken up and seen that I was on my laptop. She wasn’t happy. When it got around to reviewing time on the 3rd of May, everyone’s applications were reviewed except for two. Mine, and another person’s. This confused me slightly, but I didn't question it as it might have needed some things sorted out first. Then it got to 3 days after, and it still hadn’t been reviewed. Bummer, I might put in a professor application as well, seeing as my teacher application isn’t getting reviewed. So, on the 6th of may, I posted my College Professor application. A few days later, I got kind of annoyed that my Teacher application wasn’t being reviewed, so I thought that I’d ask about it. On the 8th of May, I asked about it in the Karakura Academics discord in the #faq channel. The message read:
“I know that I'm probably going to be denied for asking this question, but why wasn't the teacher application I posted on the 7th of April (picture 1) reviewed in the 'wave' of reviews that happened not long ago (Picture 2). Now, I understand that they might have put it on pending, but for what reason? There is a free spot open in the roster, (Picture 3) and there is also an English teacher on the roster who is also in the music part of the roster with the same character.”
Along with this, I had posted 4 pictures. The first, of my application in the list, which showed the date it was posted, the second of when the last application was reviewed, and the third and fourth showing evidence that there was spaces left in the roster, and that one of the teachers was on it for two subjects. At the time of posting this, that person is still on the roster for two subjects. My question was ignored. I thought “This is weird, but alright” I went on with my life, still slightly annoyed.
On the 17th of May, I asked why I was only getting 500 Yen per hour, even though I’m in grade 12, and if it could be fixed. This was in the Roleplay Hub discord server, in the #help channel for the second time. The first time, I did not have sufficient evidence. They never responded. Three days later, I asked again, still no answer. This completely confused me. Either the staff was playing a game to see how long they could ignore me for, or I had done something wrong.
Last night, I was blessed with that yellow exclamation mark on the forums. I knew I was reviewed for something, and seeing that Banter was updating things with College, I knew what it was right away. I instantly clicked on it, and was disappointed. I had been denied for lack of detail and having a teacher and professor application in at the same time. I am expressing the reason for having both at the same time here. Going back to what I said about ‘putting me under others’, this is where that comes in. Nothing against Banter, but with this wave of reviews for the professor applications, I was the only one that got denied. This is against someone who has over 1000 words less than me, which was accepted. Their backstory, which is supposed to be 300 words was over 100 words less than the quota. And I was the one with the lack of detail?
This all hurts my head, honestly, and I just want answers. If anyone can give me reasons for why this occurred to me, and if anyone else has experienced this, I will be so grateful.
Thanks for reading this if you did.
Have a good day/night, wherever you’re from.
