What's your suggestion?:
For a long time now, Gangrp and Crimerp have taken a big dip. A lot of people now frown upon it, and many people who still wish to Gangrp tend to forget the rules since they aren't using them often, which creates more issues for staff and makes it hard for players to enjoy Gangrp/Crimerp. Now, before we just say 'oh my god its another thug wanting to just create issues or perms to use while they Gangrp'. I want to list a few things that have made this issue come to light, and the reason why people have stopped roleplaying as much.
Rivalry: Ever since we had access to public danger zones, it would always help create wars, or roleplay for gangs to do anything really. Giving a few examples, when the turfs were added with the new way of how a dangerzone would work, it created RolePlay, and Rivalry since they both were after one thing.
RolePlay in Gangrp: Since the last danger zone has been on the server, the amount of RolePlay that players used to experience has dramatically dropped. As much as staff may say, 'Create RolePlay on your own'. That isn't as easy as you may make it sound. As most of us want to have ICLY RolePlay, and a lot of what happens in today's Gangrp really comes from OOC planning.
With a danger zone, it would create a major increase in the community's activity, as well as in their satisfaction with what they want/could do. With that being said, I am going to move on with the actual danger zone, as well as rules and more.
DANGER ZONE: SprayGrounds.
RULES: We should start off by following the turf's danger zone rules. No one should be allowed to engage with anyone inside the danger zone unless they are in a gang, as this danger zone would have the purpose to create rivalry, not petty reasons to fight for stuff.
Motive. Many players now tend to forget what motive really is, and take the easy way out of simply trying to fight as quickly as they can. Motive should come from Roleplay, and not simply asking someone to leave, or asking for 5K, then beating someone up. Motive should come from Roleplay, and the aspect of wanting to better your gang's name icly. Adding sprays that you can do in the spray grounds, and having gangs control said sprays, would be a great way to fix the issue in Roleplay. Gangs flaunting their names and showing that they control the spray grounds would be a great way to allow crime in the sewers and on the server. But what would happen if a spray is about to go up? And people want to take it, but could they just click faster to win? Well, the sprays should consist of copper rings lined on the floor around them. If two or more apposing parties are at said spray, then they must engage in RP and either agree on who takes the spray or fight it out for the victor to take the spray. Now, yes, this would be the main way to do anything in the danger zone, but this would also create rivalry for future events, and motive to fight for different reasons later on.
How will this benefit the server and community?:
This will help with the Gangrp community's state, and create more options for players to do rather than use any bit of perms to create issues.
