What's the title of your suggestion?: Private Chests Matters!

What's your suggestion?:
With the recent Property glitches we have experienced (been experiencing?), it came to my attention a very small, yet crucial matter that affects all of us, players. Whenever a person does /apartment reset, every chest inside of that property (including yours) are automatically WIPED from the face of the server.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE!?
Pretty clear. Say you forgot to renew your rent, or God forbid we encounter yet another Property glitch, and someone else owns it, what the person got in that place could be days, months, or even YEARS of Roleplay experience, stored in those chests, all of them ready to get erased by a single command. It wouldn't be a nice experience to realize you lost everything, wouldn't it?

WHAT WOULD THE SOLUTION BE?!
I have two alternatives that might tackle this severe issue.

1. ENFORCING & EXPANDING PROPERTY RECOVERY
Whenever the command /property reset is actioned inside of a property, all of the private chests' items are automatically stored in the player's "property recover" inventory. You may say, "Miamorchito, silly you... We already have this." Property Recovery, from EXPERIENCE, does NOT work when someone executes this command. As far as history on this server tells us, it has worked only when staff have intervened with players' properties, not when players execute the command. Therefore, one alternative is to automatically transfer the items from the player's chest to this inventory, rather than just... Losing all your Roleplay experience.

(I'd like to clarify, however, that this first point comes with a lot of issues itself. There are private chests with multiple IGNs, for example, so this alternative should be considered with these possible issues)

2. BLOCK THE COMMAND UNTIL THE CHESTS ARE GONE
I, with all the experience and TRAUMA that I've gathered inside of this server, find this alternative better. If a person wishes to execute the command /property reset while there are still private chests (or, if we want to go a step further, any chest with items), the command will not be executed until the items are properly taken out. For this, people would need to make a ticket. Staff would need to store the items from the private chests to the owner of the chest property, recover inventory (or really wherever they seem fit, but NOT erase them). Yes, this will put a burden on the players and staff. Still, if you think about it, this is not a recurring theme in SRP, and people don't tend to lose or give away their property (including their personal items).
On top of that, as I mentioned, with all the traumas I've been through, I would much rather have something like this put in place than automate it, because... Yes, it would be nice, but I REAALLLYY don't want to risk encountering another glitch. Developers have more than enough work to do, and possibly creating another glitch is something none of us would like to deal with. Players and Staff.

So, yeah. Rest in peace, everyone who lost their items and roleplay experiences through this bug. I can attest that it is not a comfortable experience at all, and even more if you don't have proof of anything. However, we move on from experience and try to improve it.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
1. Protects player's private property
2. Relieves stress and creates reassurance whenever properties are lost
3. Reduces the amount of people from leaving the server due to demotivation
4. Prevents toxicity targeted at staff and other players

HUGEEEE +1

I've lost pretty much EVERYTHING due to my friend's apartment being stolen and wiped away. I honestly don't know why there isn't more protection on chests. I really don't like how we are expected to screenshot everything like we expect for such glitch or thing to occur.

neutral. i dont think its that deep at the end of the day as its only a game. but yes it /would/ be cool if theres some sort of way to recover lost inventory

p.s. its only a neutral bc i reckon theres higher priorities on what the server need to be working on.
