What's your suggestion?:
Players will be required to remove any equipped items on their head in order to enter /apartment editmode. A prompt in chat should appear explaining this upon entering the command. Similar to how you are not allowed to enter the soccer/football field without removing head cosmetics. Minor adjustment to the command that does not significantly inconvenience anyone.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
There is an inconsistent bug where /apartment editmode will cause your equipped item to delete when entering editmode. I've personally experienced this several times, but this does not occur 100% of the time. This will reduce players losing cosmetic items to this bug, as well as reduce the hassle of having to submit an item request on the forums anytime it happens.

Can also have a msg appear saying "It's recommended you place your items in a chest before edit mode!" Will save a lot of pain in the future.

+1 I do feel like this can be a great idea and I do side with there being a message prompt before entering build mode, stating to dispose of items into a chest.
