What are your current roles on the server?:
[Grade 12] Ryn Myers
[Grade 12] Temari "Niffty" Yeoul
[Grade 12] Simon Saeis
[Grade 12] Erika "Madam Red" Garnet (APPLYING)
[Cat] Stray Kitten

Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
The server is very school focused that involves an education system that works as a progression tree for students to progress through, all the way up to adult and the teachers play an important part in this as they provide fun, interactive experiences through classes they host for players to be able to engage in roleplay that opens a variety of opportunities for players to encounter; such as, meeting new people, making friends, participating in activities hosted by the teacher, etc. These classes can help break the ice for players who are unsure what to do or how to interact with someone and you may even learn somethings, like i did, regarding the server itself that is useful information for new players to know. My first class on the server was when I made friends and even had a story ark that provided character development for me that eventually lead to me having a large group of friends and have a better understanding of how things work on the server while instantly giving me some roleplay interaction to ensure I am involved rather than standing idle somewhere.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Erika "Madam Red" Garnet
What is your character's nationality?: London, England
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Physical Education

Describe your character:
She is 5ft tall exactly with red hair that she usually keeps tied into a high ponytail, she has vibrant green eyes, soft tan skin, natural pink blush, natural peach colored lips, natural dark, long eyelashes, is toned, has a hourglass figure and she always has at least 1 piece of clothing on that is red as her nickname is "Madam Red" unless the circumstances calls for a certain dress code. She is from the United Kingdom where she has had a passion for Japanese culture and finally decided to move to Japan to live in the lovely culture in efforts to become a teacher when she heard there was some openings, so having no luck in the UK she moved to Karakura in hopes to become a beloved teacher by the students. She believes in the supernatural, spiritual self and a healthy lifestyle but believes in the unknown as well and the idea of possible greater beings such as gods or goddesses. Erika is friendly, patient, caring, motherly, sympathetic, calm, protective of others and tends to always be in a professional, positive mood.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Erika believes that regardless of what career or job you have, helping others when needed is a must and to be expected, even if it's a competitive position she still believes in being honorable and having good sportsmanship; due to this, she is very willing to help her fellow co-workers if they need it and will even check in on co-workers to see if they need assistance with anything when she has nothing else to do or finished her work for the day. When Erika was going through school, she often struggled to keep up as she was a slower learner than the other students and because of this she is very patient with people, she would try her best to ensure everyone understands the lesson and homework even if it meant staying after hours to help a student. Also, Erika as a child and teenager at the time didn't understand the importance of good health and fitness as she learned for herself overtime, going out of her way to educate herself and she wishes to teach what she learned to students so they can have an earlier start on maintaining good health and fitness.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Growing up Erika struggled to keep up with the other students as she was a slower learner, but despite her efforts, she never could get a teacher to give her the extra help she needed and there was a lot of topics that she had scattered information on because the teacher would teach it once and then never teach it again, which resulted in older students having more knowledge of certain topics that would have been very useful for her to know but didn't learn about it until years later. Erika felt like each class was a puzzle that provided some information and was up to her to find the missing pieces, while some other students already knew this information or understood the assignment more than she did causing her to lag behind often in school work and because of all this she wishes to prevent this from happening to future students by making sure everyone understands the lesson, the assignment, helping those who don't fully understand. Erika wants to make sure no one lags behind, so that all students in her class at least know the basics to fitness and good health to have an earlier start on them improving or maintaining their fitness and health instead of learning about it years later where it catches up to them and makes life harder, like how she went through it.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Erika would answer any questions related to the lesson when a student raises their hand so she can easily identify them and will notice it more than them trying to talk over someone else but if they are still confused or repeatedly asking questions, then she will simply inform them to meet with her after class where she would clear up any confusion they may have to avoid holding up the lesson for others as all of her homework assignments would be based upon what is discussed in class. Once class is over, Erika would meet with the student to then personally tutor them if they need further assistance or answer any questions they may have before she leaves for the day because Erika always put her students first before above all, even if it means staying after hours just to help the student until they understand. Erika would remain on school grounds until 5:30pm, probably in her classroom grading previous homework or planning the next lesson for class, which gives students the chance to find her easily if they need help regarding a lesson she taught or homework.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Erika would remain calm, professional and polite as she would approach the disruptive student, so she has their full attention, to give them a verbal warning and politely ask them to please pay attention to the lesson and don't disrupt it for everyone else or cause any further distractions, making sure to state their name and tell them that this is their 1st warning. Erika would repeat this if the student continued to disrupt the class, but this time when stating their name she would tell them this is now their 2nd warning and depending on what they are doing she would force them to change seats to sit by themselves if possible and sit at the front of the class where she can keep a better eye on them and if they disrupt the class again after that, she will then approach them with a more stern tone as she informs them that this is their final warning and any further disruptions or distractions will result in them being given a detention slip and kicked from the class for today. Erika will always give 3 verbal warnings, with the 3rd warning being a threat to give them a detention slip if they disrupt class or distract others from the lesson again.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
1) "Zombie Horde" (takes place inside school, 1st floor hallway with gym)
Students would be divided into 2 teams, where 2 students would volunteer or be chosen to be the zombies, who's job is to grab as many survivors as possible before the survivors reach the finish line and those who get grabbed are now zombies that join the zombie team. The other students are the survivors, who's job is to run to make it to the other side where the finish line will be without getting grabbed by a zombie and if there are no more survivors by the time class ends, then the zombie team wins but if there is 1 survivor left then the survivor team wins!

2) "JailBreak" (takes place outside, at the back of school)
Students will be split into 2 teams, where 1 team is the prison guards, who will start scattered about between the prisoners and the finish line, while the other team are the prisoners, who will start against the wall and must only run forward, they can not back track to bail a prisoner out that they already passed, turn and run back, run circles or run to a safe zone they already passed but they can run side to side as long as they are still moving forward. The 4 large trees are safe zones, where prisoners can't be tagged if they are within 4 blocks from the base of the trees or in the water at the base of the trees but they can only rest at these safe zones for no longer than 30 seconds before they have to continue running. The small trees are the cells, if a prisoner gets tagged by a prison guard they go to the closest little tree and stand under it until a fellow prisoner tags them to break them out, but a prisoner can only bail out 1 jailed prisoner per small tree, they can not bail out multiple people under the same small tree. A prisoner can not leave the finish line; which would be the wall on the opposite end from where they all started from, they also can't free any jailed prisoners until the next round. The next round starts once all remaining prisoners who aren't jailed reach the finish line, the goal for prisoners is to try to reach the finish line with as many fellow prisoners in order to win; where as the prison guards goal is to jail as many prisoners as possible before they reach the finish line in order to win.

These games encourage students to work together in order to achieve a goal while providing them fitness due to them running and testing their problem solving skills as they try to avoid being tagged or try to bail a fellow student out in the JailBreak game.
