Question about jobs/school

So I was wondering if students were allowed to have side jobs to make money? I'm not sure how jobs work and I'm really new to the whole thing. But the process of earning money every 30 minutes seems awfully slow compared to the prices of everything. I was wondering if we were allowed to work on the weekends or have after school jobs?

Yes! There are various shops/restaurants around the server, owned by Shopkeepers. You can have your student character apply to these places- being able to work as cashiers, waiters, etc etc depending on the store and what roles they have to offer

You can check on the status of their applications by joining their respective Discord servers (The Karakura Town discord server also has a roster of all the shops + their discord links, so you can check around there!)

An alternative but reliable way of also gaining money is by fishing! Just find the fishing pond near the perimeter of the forest entrance or go to the coordinates x: 1943 z: 841 where you can buy fishing rods and sell whatever fish you have to Robert, our local fisherman!

Thank you sm! I was wondering to get fish to cook as well so that solves my problem. Also if you don't mind me asking how the jobs work. Do I just go there during certain hours of the day to receive money?

Howdy!!

If you are asking about 'Student Jobs', the only ones students can have AND earn money are jobs with shops. Now, Each shop is different but majority of the ones I've been in have been around the same. How it works, is if you are hired at the shop the shop OWNER or Manager sends out an opening ping to see on who can work that shift. YOU will react to said message and you get put up with the others who wish to work at the same time. Then its a pick of the draw if you get chosen to work, most owners of their shops and managers wont let the same person work that next shift UNLESS they are the only ones who reacted.

As for payment, some pay everytime you work others pay once a month
