Do you recognize that you can be ICly fired?: I do recognize this, and I plan on not getting ICly fired.
In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee: A Library Auxil has many jobs. When asked to come in and help, they will deal with customer service along with cataloging. When cataloging, they will go through different books, recordings, or even movies creating metadata and helping to represent the sourced information. Going through files would also be a task to be accomplished by library auxil. Some of the departments that a library auxil might work vary. (Found from information) Some departments may include: Adult Services Department (Giving library tours, research assistance.) Technical Services (Library online catalog, Assistance with records in the library, so editing) and many more to choose from. Assisting people throughout the library, helping them to find books and different information is also a requirement of the job. Also thoroughly reading multiple newer books and approving them to ensure they are school appropriate or have the correct information for students and other readers at a library. Another necessity is helping keep track of books within the library, helping check out books, and also contacting people if books are overdue. Helping keep the library clean and organized is also something that needs to be done on a regular basis, along with finding new books for students to read.
Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?: I have experience in customer service roleplay, which is a part of the job for Library Auxil, I believe having been involved with customer service roleplay helps me fit in for this role of Library Auxil. I have been to many libraries before, and I know the general idea of how to roleplay as a librarian of sorts. I believe having real-life experiences will help benefit my roleplay for this role, and will help me continue my roleplay experience. What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I've been roleplaying for a long time now. The time I've been roleplaying for a little over 5 years and I still continue to actively roleplay outside of SchoolRP, which benefits my roleplay on SchoolRP.
Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it: The job of Library Auxil has a lot of requirements (as I have done my research). One of them being able to help catalog different information and books. Along with creating metadata from different sources such as movies, books, and recordings. Doing normal library jobs are also required. Customer service is also something to be found in Library Auxil. Helping out with books and assisting people in the right direction toward finding the perfect book is also something to look forward to. Checking out books, contacting people with overdue books, and looking over new books definitely are part of the job. Keeping books organized and clean is also very handy, and especially getting rid of pests (bookworms)
[Situations]
During a work shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?: If a student were to treat me poorly on my work shift, I would tell them to leave the library. No matter what circumstances it's under, cursing and yelling and being pathetic in a library is no way to act. I would immediately ask them to leave the library and hope that next time they come back, they won't act as immature as to yell and curse at me. If they come back another time and repeatedly do the same act over and over, I would contact a teacher or higher authority to handle the student - or even ban him or her from the library. Behavior involving cursing or yelling should not belong in a library work environment.
You are doing a hazardous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?: I would do the job depending on what it is. If this task has something to do with extinguishing the books or even hurting any student in the library or even outside of the library, I would not do it. Putting someone else's life in danger is not a job to be requested of someone. If anyone is hurt in the process of the job, I still won't do it. I will do it if it doesn't involve any students getting hurt or even myself getting hurt.
Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?: I would kindly ask them to leave or to stop, maybe take a break. If they do not calm down, and the situation continues to arise worriment among others, then I will take them out of the area they are in and tell them sternly to stop misbehaving in a school environment, especially if it's in front of other students or teachers. If they are starting to get way out of control, as to hurt or scare any students, I would call a teacher to help get them away from the area, bringing them to the principal to discuss why this behavior is going on.

Motivation for Joining YHS: In my younger years, I have always loved reading books, it was an easy pass-time, and it took you to a whole new place in your imagination to experience. It opened horizons for me and helped me with my vocabulary and my creativity. I want to help teach younger kids of the generation that books are still an option and that they help in various ways when it comes to English learning and expanding your vocabulary. I think books are a good way to reaching out to students who want to continue their learning outside of school or maybe inside of school as well. Students should know that reading books are also a way to have fun, and it can be an enjoyable relaxing time.
Age: 89
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?: I believe that since I have a large amount of love for books and literature, I would put my heart into my work, not only enjoying it but also helping students enjoy it too. I believe I can touch students' hearts for learning and help them get to any spot they want to get to by the knowledge of books and learning from reading. Reading has also shown to improve vocabulary, so it will help students when applying for college. Not only will it help for applying for college, but also when writing essays for school.
