What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have been on SRP for several years, dating back to 2023 when I first joined. Currently, my play time is at 42 weeks. And in that time, the majority of it was used through gang roleplay, where I strived to make it more roleplay-based, and attempted to bring back P2L, the more detailed version of fighting, in my opinion. Beyond my experiences as a criminal, I was also a professor for several months, specifically a history professor, where I planned classes daily when I decided to host. Most of what I taught was Karakura lore, finding it fascinating and of actual value for people in the server to learn about the history of the server they play on. On top of my faction-based experiences, I have also been a part of some major families, where I grew my ability to roleplay, especially in the form of detailrp, and even now, I am getting better at it the more I do it. To end this section off, I was also on the basketball team for the male college, where I roleplayed continuously for three months until I got too busy. But my experience there was immensely entertaining and joyous to me.
Outside of SRP, I have been a part of several scripted roleplays, ones that would be recorded and posted on YouTube. This sort of roleplay took around two years of my life, and though I had fun, I preferred the unscripted version that is SRP
To add on to that, I casually roleplayed on several other games like ARMA Reforger, DayZ, Unturned, GTA, and a couple of others. Growing up, I watched all the YouTubers you could think of that would roleplay, and it fascinated me to the point where I did it myself, as in roleplaying on my PS4 in a world with some of my friends. Of course, not to the level of SRP.
To sum it all up, roleplay has always been a big part of my life, and I think every year I get better at it, and gain plenty of new experiences that shape the way I RP.
What is your motivation for applying?
There are a few reasons as to why I want to join. One is the new experience of roleplaying in another faction, one that involves way more detail and thought, though less prep time, like being a professor. I have and have had a lot of friends who roleplayed in EMS, and the majority of them all loved it, and I want to be a part of that, and see what other styles I can create for myself, and use them to spread to others.
Roleplaying as a doctor, which is what I am applying for, would bring a whole new perspective of RP to me, seeing as I have never been a part of or anything related to the medical field. This, as well as genuinely learning medical information, is one of the key factors as to why I want to join. I have watched plenty of medical shows, like The Good Doctor, House MD, and some other ones.
I think being a part of the hospital would make my detail work so much better, and it excites me. Especially being a part of a team again and meeting new people through the EMS faction.
Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist)
Doctor
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Every role in the hospital comes with its own set of responsibilities and tasks that need to be done. Starting off from the top.
Roles
(Director)
The director runs the hospital, and all who are in it. They are the voice in charge, and what they say is final. They make sure that the paramedics, doctors, and psychiatrists know what they are doing and are doing it properly
(Deputy Director)
The deputy director's job is similar to the director's, but does not have all of the same abilities or responsibilities. They help make decisions, but also don't have as much say as the director himself.
(Doctor)
When the wounds are physical, you call the doctor. They treat illnesses and bodily injuries. They use devices like X-rays, IV fluid drip, and such.
(Paramedics)
A rather new addition to the team, though they have been out for a while, they are one of the most recent additions to the force. The paramedics are the primary people who go out when there is an urgent emergency where people can't make it to the hospital. They share common traits with the doctors, though they are not the ones who run certain machines or fix broken limbs and such.
(Psychiatrist)
The Psychiatrist deals with the mental side of people. Their primary role is therapy, willing to help those who are in need of an extra voice or need to get something off their chest. Usually, the ones who also prescribe medicine and prescriptions to people.
Ranks
(Trainee)
The base rank for when you first get into the medical field. These people are not quite certified to do much until they get training. They need supervision until they prove they are worthy of moving out of this stage. A trainee is the general name for both a psychiatrist and a doctor
(Residents)
Once the trainee moves up, they become either a resident doctor or psychiatrist, now handling more responsibility, though still in need of more training.
(Attending)
Finally, you have attended. The attending doctors or psychiatrists are now trusted to take care of patients on their own and have all of the training needed. They work under way less supervision, but are now further responsible for their own actions.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

Character Backstory (Optional):
(Currently working on it still since it has changed a decent bit, but I will have it posted in Biography when I am done.)
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen. Some examples can be found here)
General Surgery and Emergency Medicine
Marren believes in the ability to act quickly and learn via intuition and the use of context clues. Being quick on your feet means knowing what to do and when to do it, and Marren has always been rather good at that. General Surgery was his main course due to his strive to help people. His love for emergency medicine came from his ability to quickly think and be a go-with-the-flow type of person.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
In the hospital, no, but growing up in Brazil, and knowing several medical procedures, he did help people out on the streets when it was needed, similar to a paramedic.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
On the appearance alone, he is a tall, brown-haired male with a well-built figure, one that shows he is in good health. His lips hardly showed a smile, focused more on the cause and reason than the result. A professional look, however, his hair is never too long or loose, always tidy.
His thoughts always on medicine and the ability to help others before himself. He's not an A-hole, even if he comes off as one; he's just focused on getting the job done as quickly as possible so he can move on to the next. To give an example, he is similar to House from House MD, though not with the crazy skill, of course.
How does your character act around the hospital?
When not in surgery or helping someone in need, he stands at the front, waiting patiently for someone to come in. He converses with his co-workers, of course, but is always half in the conversation and half out, wanting to be ready if someone comes in under urgent need. When he is in the room with a patient, he focuses on getting to the point and how he can help the fastest rather than any “meaningless” conversation. Marren is not worried about mistakes; he knows they are a learning opportunity. Whenever downtime is available for him, he doesn't waste a minute; he grabs lunch and takes it with him to the front desk. Whether he has the time or not, seeing patients is more important to him. Perhaps, there is an underlying reason, and of course its challenge and trauma, but the trauma would come to be disclosed later. For the challenge, however, Marren hopes to hit a certain number of patients he has helped before retiring, and that number is one thousand.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
For Marren, it's a bit of both. He knows he's not superhuman, but when he is working and focused on a task, he is every bit a lonesome worker. Of course, being in the early stages, he understands he needs help, and he is okay with that, preferring it so he doesn't make any mistakes. A middle-of-the-lane guy, if you will. However, he does like working with others if they can keep up with his pace, because every second counts, and he wants to be as fast as possible at the end of the day.
