*[Reiji Kagami Teacher Interview]*

[All recorded and Edited by Midori Takeshima]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Introduction
"My name's Reiji Kagami and here's my Kanji (零時 鏡). I'm 30 years old and we're currently in my classroom room 211 on KHS. I was born in Sapporo, the most southern part of Hokkaido, where both my parents were fully Japanese making me full blooded. I graduated from the University of Tokyo with a Bachelors in Physics and an Associates In Performance Arts. I would then attend Hokkaido University later onwards to earn my PHD in Classical Physics. As for Race I would say it's Shinto.. to say the least?”

Physical Traits
"Why do you want to know my weight and height so badly? It's not like I'd give you that much for free. Though I can say this *clears his voice*....Unlike many other people here I was born with Full Heterochromia. My left eye being a dark green, while my right is an ocean blue. I also have rather long brown hair which I tie up into a half or full ponytail. That's... really all I'm going to say."

Equipment:
Eye Drops
*pulls out a bottle of eye drops* "I can never leave the house without this, after all I have pretty bad dry eye."
Tablet
"After getting promoted to QT, Ms. Akiyama gifted me this so I can better manage our school portal and detention logs."
Pocket Mirror
"This is nothing more then a momento... back when I was in university."
Chalk Sticks
"This isn't any normal Chalk. This is Hageromo brand chalk, and... Let’s not talk about how many boxes of these I own."

Clothes:
“I’d rather stay casual with my clothing. I'm not all for fancy clothing or luxury brands. What’s the point of paying so much on clothing you’d eventually grow out of?”

Hobbies:
“Hobbies? I really do enjoy cooking for everyone. It’s a way for me to clear my mind from today’s troubles and as a bonus if you're good at it you’ll earn the respect of others. There would be times I would be staying after school grading or planning classes, to come back home exhausted, and still use up the rest of my energy to prepare dinner for Miya and the kids.”

Skills:
“I would consider cooking a skill... and say I'm rather computer savvy too. Would you consider Gardening a skill also?"

Habits/Troubles:
“I try my best to be logical and intuitive, but I always end up overthinking things. I’ve noticed it’s starting to get in the way of my job as a teacher, and I find that it takes me much longer to issue a student detention or making quick rational decisions. Then again this was something that stuck with me back when I started Dating Miyako.

Favorite Food:
“I should treat you and your brother to some Shogayaki. If you’re wondering, it’s marinated Pork and ginger Stir Fry and it pairs perfectly with Rice and a bed of cabbage. It’s also a staple it my household, my signature dish. Everyone who's had it seems to enjoy it as much as I do."

Least favorite Food:
“I’ve never really been a fan of our school lunches. I find it rather underwhelming compared to the stuff I make at home. Especially the complementary hot dogs… ehh yeah I’ll pass. And since I’m always too busy to pack my own lunches, I’d find myself waiting until my shift ends and eat from home afterwards. I could one day help our chefs out with preparing breakfast and lunch.”

Benicious Getting Fired (Reiji's POV)
“Even thought he's a good friend of mine, he also does a lot of really questionable stuff. Most notably the time he got fire. To my information he instinctually spoke out to a member from SLT, which angered them resulting them to get fired. On hand I understand where he's coming from, we have to correct students from speaking fowl language, but at the same time, *sighs* you really shouldn't be talk back to your seniors even if they're technically not your boss. As a result me, Hosnina, lya and several other faculty were forced to block the school entrance as the students protested. Many students were issued detention, and Byol Akihito, Ben's boss, was forced to step in to see what the ruckus was all about. Sadly dealing with this situation did not give us a raise, but Ben was also reinstated back to his duties. This whole situation was a mess to begin with, but in the end of the day, he's still a good friend of mine and reliable one at that.”

His Opinion on Everyone He's talked to:
[Sister] Amane Kagami

"Yeah I know her, she's my little sister... Wait you're a fan of her music? There's a lot to the girl then what meets the eye. *chuckles* I suggest it's better you interview her on your own.

[Wife] Miyako Kojima-Kagami
“So you’re interested to know how we met? Very well then… Back in university she was at the very least a trainwreck, and was a huge bookworm. Specifically, she was interested in Alice’s work, without knowing I was her quote Failure of a son. I helped her out with several things like guiding her to certain places, and cooking dinner for her. From then on we started dating and before you know it we spoke our vows. Miya is the on person who'd I can rely on throughout my lowest days, and still supports me no matter how far I've fallen behind. And hearing her reassuring voice encouraging me to push further, is the reason I love her so much. Big things really don't just come from small packages, but they appear in times when your not expecting, And i would have never known someone loosing their phone charger could change our lives in the best way.”

[Sister] Chinatsu Watcher
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact Chinatsu's my biological sister. On second thought she definitely resembles Alice figuratively, from her long silver hair to her bold and aggressive demeanor. In addition she also shares the same passionate for her career in law as Alice does with her writing. That's.... really all to it. Even though we're related by blood, I don't share the same bond with her like do with you Amane. Regardless in the end of the day, she's nothing more then just a stranger to me or the children, even if she's Ben's sister. And the fact she tried to take legal actions towards Izumi wouldn't make things better from then on. But hey in the bright side, I've also noticed that morale within the faculty has gone up since her employment here."

[Co Worker] Moriel Maeng
“A fellow physics teacher and a respectable one at that. After his training, I had the opportunity to interview him similar to the one I had back at JAXA. Hearing that we’re getting a second physics teacher grabbed my attention, having been KHS’s only Physics teacher, it’s a relief I have someone who I can look after, help out or just talk to in general as we’re in the same department. Wait you're telling me he had a Birthday party in his classroom... hmmm more chalk for him I suppose.

[Co Worker] Miran Junsuina
"In the eyes of other he's like any other new hire. Frazzled in the heart of chaos, having moments of second guessing themselves, and of course making mistakes. With Miran he's no exception, with some cases I would help assist him with certain stuff. Not like that's a bad thing on him, but then again.. like all the other new hires, he has a lot of potential. Lately his classes has gotten pretty good. And to my information, I'm pretty sure Miran is now a DJ at some club, Amane sees him from time to time and at the very least he's doing well."

[Co Worker] Somi Monzetsu
“Somi’s probably has the most energy of the bunch. On her first day, she yelled into the radios, and well… I was hosting a class at the time and I could faintly hear Mika screaming from underneath me, where Somi’s classroom stands. I honestly don't know what happened but I definitely didn't want to get involved. Other then that she’s a great colleague who really knows how to keep morality in check”

[Co Worker] Marcel Zindel
“Of all the people I've met, Marcel is one heck of a person for- well... many of the bad reasons. I wouldn't consider him the sharpest tool in the shed, and has done and said some pretty questionable stuff for someone his age. For instance, he once talked about Premium Air which I never really understood, another thing is his he always finds a way to bother the boss. That alone made me debate whether there's a fine line of being incredibly bold or incredibly stupid.”

[Co Worker] Mikasa Akiyama
“Mika- ehm I should say… Mikasa Akiyama of all the people I’ve met, she’s probably the most eccentric one at best. One time she pissed off Iwao, and as a result we all got in trouble and were forced to complete a detention task alongside our students. But at the end of the day, she’s also my supervisor, and I have a lot of respect for her being an HD at a young age... Picture? what picture? Wait Where Did You Get That?!”

[Co Worker] Latte Finch
“Poor girl has been dragged along in more situations than I could count. And that picture you kept bugging me about, yeah that’s her over there. With all we’ve put her through I think it’s fair she deserves a break or… a few seconds to breathe. But its even more sad to see that she didn't last too long.”

[SLT] Iwao Akihito
“Thinking back, I’m thankful I wasn’t the one doing detention alongside my colleagues... Sorry Ben.”

[Co Worker] Sora Mori
“The Head of Department for History: Former HD. She’s the polar opposite of Mika. Where Mikasa is more laidback, Sora is much more serious with upholding responsibilities. And because there isn’t a HD for Science, both Sora and Mikasa are also my supervisors. I… Try not to get on her bad side. One time I was showing Miyako around the school and as we head too the lounge, Ms. Mori yelled at me to get back to work, when I was TRYING to show my wife, who was a professor here, the place she'll be working at for the time being”

[Co Worker] Kazuki Yozura
"I can relate to what he has to go through. Being the only teacher with a set specialty is really tests your devotion and patience to this profession. Because there's no other teachers or professors who specializes in music, this means he has to plan out his classes without the help from others from his department, and sure he can take inspiration from what others are doing, but many of the stuff he has to come up with himself, having once been in the same position as he was."

[Co Worker] Zayven Akiyama
“It’s safe to say that we can get along very well. We occasionally have tea at his place, and he’s really easy to talk to. I find his presents rather, calming and he’s the type of person where we could talk about almost anything really. He also looks after Miya and updates me on her progression with her new job as a professor.”

[Co Worker] Ishigami Senkou
“He’s certainly passionate about science as much as I am. He occasionally shows off some of his assignments for his class, and every single one of them gets my brain going. I find his interest in science to be a really good way to start off the school day, enabling me to think critically at a time when all people worry about is getting coffee.”

[Co Worker] Abe Irwin
“Ironically enough he was my Literature Professor back in Tokyo. Many of my classes were usually hard lectures or labs, but his classes were a different story. They were interactive at best, everyone participated which was rare, and the majority of students had good marks. No wonder Rate My Professor gave him almost a perfect 5 stars... Come to think of it, I could pick up a thing or 2 from him.

[Co Worker/Friend] Benicious Watcher
“Ben’s a great colleague. We usually see each other when dealing with rowdy students or attending Detention. And even outside of work, he’s usually the one approaching me and we would talk about many things. We have the same ideals and beliefs despite the nationality differences but I don't think it’s gonna stop us from being in good relations not just with pure individuals, but with are families being on good terms if not good relations. Also... could we please not talk about the picture just because he's in it doesn't mean you have to mention it.”

[Co Worker] Oliver Sunada
“We get along pretty well. If anything Oliver is usually the one helping me with checking the CCTV’s whenever he’s available, and I appreciated his assistance.”

[Co Worker] Sumake Tendo
"Mrs. Tendo and Miya go back a long way. I'm not entirely sure about the details but I do know they've known each other from way back when I first met Miyako. Come to think of it, I really don't know what her initial opinion was on me when I first met her back in University."

[SLT/Ex.Boss] Robusuta Inu-Heddo
“Vice Principal Heddo is a boss, who's taken me off guard. While clocked in, he’s pretty laid back, while also giving off a sense of professionalism you'd instinctively follow for the sake of it. Whereas outside work, he’s a really energetic individual, who doubles down on enjoying life. It’s what they say, work hard and play hard."

[SLT/Current Boss] Kaito Akiyama
“Before becoming SLT, he was a fellow teacher like I was. And for someone to become a member of SLT in a few months is astounding. He’s really knowledgeable and is very student oriented and I’ve noticed how the school’s become a better place since he was appointed as SLT. Come to think of it, I wonder… have I seen him somewhere before?”

[Mentor] Noelle Shkodra
“On the day I've enrolled into KHS, Ms. Shkodra was also my science teacher back when I used to attend KHS. I was one of few students who’ve taken her class seriously and even during my time at Tokyo University, I’ve taken the opportunity to become her Intern during my Junior year. During this time as her Intern, I’ve learned a lot about the ways I could teach science and was my earliest experiences as an instructor in Karakura. It was a really nice trip back to memory lane, which was only stopped by a bigger opportunity at JAXA. Of course I got laid off and somehow this piece of experience became my only save and grace for employment. Sure I was deferred at the start but Noelle encouraged me to keep pushing onwards. Because of her, I'm now living life as the next Head Of Department for Science.”

[Co Worker] Hoshina C. Takeshima
“I have a feeling she hates me. Whenever it’s just us, she sometimes glares down on me which I had a feeling was spiteful. And honestly, I don't know if I did anything to upset her or if this would be an ongoing thing… *Knock* *Knock* who’s at the door… oh good evening Mrs. Takeshima… why are you holding a slipper? Crap, we can talk about this…. HOSHI- *Smack* OWW What Was That For!! Midori Cut the Recording and Run.... NOW!! HEY.... Just Because I Gave Midori A bad Grade Doesn't Obligate You Shi-"

Backstory:
Story 1: Childhood

"Before I step foot into Karakura, I was forced to do acting growing up. Back in Sapporo, both my parents where known figures locally, with my dad being an actor while my mom was a known writer and publisher who occasionally did work in script writing. Everyday was wake up, school, Improv proactive or filming, study, and the cycle continues. I never wanted to do acting nor was it something I'm ever passionate about, considering how strict and prejudice the industry can be especially towards a child. And like any other kid, I protested. Skipping practice, cheating on a given diet, and getting into relationships. Especially the latter as back in middle school, I was in a relationship with another student. We were close to say the least, however things didn't work out between us, so I made made the first shots, and unfortunately she didn't take the news well and now she's no longer with us. Soon after the media found out I was I was in a relationship and my parents, other then defending me... they did nothing. And with no other choice I ended up moving to Karakura to start a new life."

Story 2: Karakura
"Adjusting to life in Karakura was hellish at best. It was nothing like what I was used to back on the mainland, from the way people acted, to the diversity. I would then realized that Karakura has the highest density of foreigners living on the island, aswell as it having the highest crime rates in all of Japan. But even then I pushed through. In addition I found myself working part time in a acting agency in Tokyo where I only have to show up once or twice a week, and from there they gave me an allowance to work on that equivalates to 1000 yen a day throughout my contract. From then on I was free to do what I want, which in most cases included studying or taking care of Amano. Honestly It was a pretty hard life, but it was better then life back home."

Story 3: University
"Fortunate for me, life got easier in smaller packages, as I finished my contract earning me 3 million, and becoming the top 10% of students In Karakura high. And this hard work and dedication even allowed me to attend the University of Tokyo without the worry of tuition. Originally I majored in Performance arts via drama, as it was something I was already experienced in, and I did well. However not everything planned out and the agency I once worked at during the days I lived in Karakura, hired new management, and unlike the old management back then, the agency has become much more corporate and overall became a toxic work environment. Soon I later learnt the person behind the new management was my uncle Tatsuki, who kept trying enforcing me to be like my dad. This alone left a bad taste in my mouth so by the beginning of my second year, I voided my contract and switched majors. This would hands down be my best decision yet as I found better opportunities despite which expanded my portfolio. Heck I even got the opportunity to Intern with Ms. Shkodra my old science teacher and mentor. And most significantly of all I would have by then meet Miyako and from there everything else became history."

Story 4: Job hunting
"By then I would have graduated from Tokyo University with a bachelors in Applied Physics, and a opportunity to work at JAXA, one of Japan's Space agencies. However things aren't all butterflies and rainbows, as I was only barely been able to earn this position at JAXA and when layoffs occur, I was one of the few people who fell victim to it. In addition to how niche my resume was It was hard for me to earn a Job in the field I'm in. And as a last resort, I moved back to Hokkaido in search of work, and Miyako was able to find work for me, coincidentally at the same middle school I used to attend. It was thanks to her that I realized that education was my calling. I'd then go back to University in Hokkaido to eventually get my PhD in Applied Physics all while being a Middle school science teacher."

Story 5: New Job
"And you ask why I'm back here in Karakura? Well it's simple. One day I got a text from Amane, that Ms. Shkodra my former science teacher was retiring soon and how she was holding the science department all on her own. For reassurance I emailed her about her retirement and she confirmed it and even encouraged me to fill her spot. From there I moved back to Karakura, scheduled an interview with Robusota Heddo, and waited patiently. I was ecstatic hearing that I got the job, and told everyone the good news. I would later learn that I was actually referenced by Ms. Shkodra herself due to being an alumni at KHS, and involvement interning at the school. A month after getting in, she would officially put in her 2 weeks notice and retired shortly after.

Story 6: Present day
At first I was sad to see the person I looked up to and guided me to the right path leave, but I never let that get to me as I would work especially hard to prosper. Teaching in Karakura is way different from teaching on the mainland, if anything I'd say it's harder here than anything. Dealing with rowdy and misbehaving students tends to be the cornerstone of what I signed up to. In addition back then I had a really bad habit of overworking myself. I've noticed that some of my co workers tends to find it somewhat intimidating, which is expected since I worked in environments where it's common, but I never expect one to have some sort of vendetta towards me: like your mother, after she barged into my classroom. Still going back on topic, being the only teacher with a set specialty was difficult as it is, so who knew how much harder it was for my mentor. By then my Miyako and the kids moved back to Karakura, giving me the added responsibility to not only be a role model for my kids and colleagues, but for every students attending Karakura High. Luckily all that hard work lead us to where we are right now. A newly appointed Head Of Department Of Science who've everyone look up to, and a proud father watching over my kid's progress in school."

I love how people are getting more creative with their biographies! W bio
I'll Ofc Be adding more to my bio. I've got the Inspiration canonizing his voice and I though having the voice line format for a gacha game (like Genshin) would be a creative way to standout from all the biographies.
