Music I request to have play in the club, and just something to listen to while you read -
Why do you want to own a shop?: As I walk around the server, it’s blissfully clear that the server has an abundance of inactive shops. This leaves players wandering aimlessly, left wondering where the fuck was the promised shops they were advertised? Accepting my application obviously won’t fix this entire issue, but I believe I could make a great contribution to the cause. It also helps with my character status, as he’s the “business-man” sort, it would fit him nicely. OOC wise, I’ve also been accustomed to working in shops, even being the son of two shop owners in two different occasions. As a friend of both of them, I’d say they were competent shop owners, but I’ll also brand myself into learning from their mistakes as a shop owner. I’d also like to be a bit experimental with the Business aspect of SRP, since I’ve always been watching by the sidelines, handling the mantle would be new and a fun experience for me. I am aware of the concerns regarding stocks/advertising/money. But, I am applying for this shop to thrive on it, so activity would not be an issue. Seeing as Shop owners are a big part of making the server more enjoyable to play on, I think I’m now ready to take on the responsibility over ownership.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
I plan to renovate the building back to its original humble design, sticking to it’s “Cafe/Bar sitting in the corner of the city” kind of vibe. We could possibly expand rooms, and even host some stand-up comedy with a stage. It would be a cafe, but it would also double as a bar, especially during the night-time. Depending on the day, we could have discounts on certain items.
ICly wise, the cafe would be called “Bebop Cafe”, and would play 50s jazz to fit with the vibe. Though, some classic rock would sometimes blare through the speakers, under the influence of Kazuma Yagami’s music taste, Renzo Ito’s roommate and manager. Stuff like the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Clash, that jazz. The cafe itself, would be owned under Renzo Ito’s name, a hardworking mute man in his late twenties, an unemployed businessman who’s trying to do something with his life. He comes to the hefty conclusion of renting the vacant run-down cafe in the outskirts of Karakura.
There would be a reintroduction to the roof area, which for some reason, has been cut off now. With this, parties could be hosted up there, maybe a 4th of July event, maybe a quinceanera, you name it.
How will your shop be unique?:
Something that hasn’t been shown throughout the shops of SRP is character, and I think I’d like to give Bebop Cafe that. It’s a jazzy cafe/bar hybrid, with some classic rock influence. It’s the type of place a depressed ass character would drown their sorrows in, with some chill bartender giving a friendly ear, and of course some booze. It’s homely and relaxing with the music I hope to add to it. People can choose to go to roof access for a view from the roof to relax under the sun/moon. Or they can go into the V.I.P and relax next to the fireplace. Possibly play pool if I can have a pool table added into the shop.
Every now and then if the roof access is added back we will have event nights where drinks will be half off upstairs. Maybe even some performances if I can include a stage on the roof. The feel of the cafe/bar can just be relaxing for people who want to peacefully RP while talking or drinking. People can reserve parties or the V.I.P room for their own RP situations. This isn't excluding GangRP. Another idea is to add a backyard type area to the back since there is a lot of empty space back there. Tables can be places back there for those who want to relax with nature, maybe even a little fountain. All different types of feels and vibes in different places of the Cafe/Bar will make it very unique.
How many employees are you planning to have?:
1 manager - Makes sure to keep track of workers and deliveries. Would also keep an eye on the budget. Would also manage the stage for the stand-up comedy section of the cafe.
1 Chef - Prepares the dish, will be paid 10k a shift.
2 Bartenders - Handles the beverages, also works as a cashier as well.
Calculates to about 4 employees, it may be more due to some timezone concerns. But I’d like to keep the number of staff, to where there’s not too little or not too much. Otherwise, the back part of the cafe would be overcrowded.

Backstory: Renzo Ito originally lived in a town outside Karakura. Working as an business man in a office 24/7 for 11 years of his life took a major toll on him. Eventually causing him to snap and start wrecking his workplace causing him to be fired. So, being out on the job for such a long time caused him to become oppressed causing him to move to Karakura. Wandering around the town he spotted a old cafe that seemed to just had been redesigned. It didn't really fit his style. With it being his only choice he decided to try and make it work.
