WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:

/report this command will allow you to report players and send them back to tutorial.

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
The purpose of this command is to reduce the amount of reports sent to staff members on /help. The command allows you to report a player and immediately send them to tutorial, if they received over 4 reports. Here's a situation where this command would come in handy.

Let's say a new player joined the server and skipped reading the tutorial. They skipped making a character and started talking out of character in the IC chat.



You can do /report User1234 [Report reason] player is without an RP name.



Then, a message like this would be sent to User1234. The staff will also be notified about this player.

i like the concept. . but it can be easily abused if u think abt it. . as long as u have a friend group of four people, or just some people who want to cause mischief for no reason. . they all do /report. . and now a player is back to the tutorial. along with this, ur example message didn't mention anything of properly informing the player what exactly they did wrong which brings forth the possibility of the same mistake being repeated

by player Helper Role ticket, they have confirmed fact that staff are capable of managing the server. I would see this useful in case we had 2000 players roaming around the town though.

I do like the idea, but I also think that it is not a needed command for a server like SRP to have. People can use the command to teleport someone back to the tutorial area either for the 'fun' of it or try to get someone in trouble. They wont use it for just green tags, but for other tags also and could disrupt the flow of a roleplay they might be having at the time.

If you see anyone breaking a rule, make a ticket and report it. OR if they are new, just help them yourself in looc. Its not hard to help out people

very useful when greenies get on football field or basketball courts during important games, even if you tell them to get off, there's always those that won't listen. There was even been a time mid basketball game when I did /help to get a greenie out and staff said in messages they couldn't do anything about it because they were busy doing something else, this could have come in useful since it was a 5v5. Honestly I feel like the chance of this getting abused would be low, mainly because if this was added. the punishment for abusing this should be like an instant warn to all parties who voted and it would be easy to report abusers too since you can just take ss.

You can just easily abuse this to bully people with a friend group. It's better to let a human handle it.

The thought is there, but like it has been stated multiple times over, it would only be abused time and time again.
The server already has a ticket system that has worked over and over again, and those who make false tickets face their consequences. In my opinion, if /report was implemented, staff would now have so many more reports to handle. Larger friends groups sending players back to spawn with the simple command would likely cause more punishments to be sent out when it could've been easily avoided.

Other than that, it would've be a pretty nice command :)

In addition to my original suggestion, to prevent abuse more I suggest that only players with green tag will be sent back to the tutorial after 5 reports. However if they are not a greenie, they will only be notified that they have been reported.

this is still unfair to new players (greenies), there is still a way for five players to band together and go on a spree of reporting random, new players and picking fun as they’re sent back to the tutorial. this is a good concept, don’t get me wrong, but this definitely isn’t the way that it should be carried out.

i have noticed that experienced players have been taking new players under their wing to teach them how to play the game properly, along with providing them the in-game currency and giving them items. . which does work in the long run in teaching the new players how to play the game. if more people did this instead of shunning new players, i don’t think we would have such an issue with needing to report new players in the first place

well that is not very nice esther. my comment was a genuine reflection as to what i plan on doing with this command when it's implemented (it's not going to be implemented)
