Resource Pack Problems

Dear Whoever This Concerns,
I saw a picture of somebody with a full on resource pack (It was in the Aging Post) and I do not have the Resource Pack they have! I
Is it the actual resource pack for SchoolRP.net? I am in 1.10.2. Does that affect the possible Resource Pack from downloading it?
I logged on this morning and it says, "Would you like to Download this Resource Pack?" I clicked Yes. Nothing happened. I'm sorry I have no photo evidence, I did not know I would ask about this later.

You have your texture packs disabled for servers.

Click the server (Don't actually go on it).
Click edit, go to the rectangle box that says texture packs, keep clicking until it says enabled. Then save.

There's a problem with your minecraft. Try switching to v1.10 and see if it works then.

This happened to me too once.

A solution is to:
Close minecraft
search %appdata% on your pc
go to .minecraft
go to server-resource-packs
delete all the files in it
Rejoin the server

This will redownload the server resource pack properly.

I do not see %Appdata% on my Mac. Does this only work for PC's or Windows?
I also changed to 1.10 but it doesn't give me the option of getting the resource pack.
