INFORMATION:

➢ The Lore-Team is a team composed of hardworking and dedicated writers. Members take the information given to them from the server and establish its history, telling the stories of Karakura and all that surrounds it.

➢ The responsibilities of the Lore-Team are to produce high-quality pieces of Karakuran literature, research to help attribute depth to the server, and answer lore-based questions.

➢ Members are expected to be creative, open-minded and capable of putting out writing within a flexible time. They are also expected to be respectful and active community members. Members of the Lore-Team are expected to be able to write with proper grammar and spelling, and/or have access to a spellchecker service. (I.E. Grammarly) This extends to aspects of members roleplay, where they should inspire other players with their writing.

➢ If you’ve ever taken interest in the history, events, or stories of Karakura and how they came to be, this might be the team for you!

APPLICATION RULES AND GUIDELINES:

• Applicants should have a positive reputation within the community. This extends towards player/server history, rather than popularity within the server.
  • Player growth from time of punishment will also be taken into account.
• You cannot be a part of more than 2 community teams.
• All work submitted must be your own. Plagiarism of any sort will lead to immediate denial.
• Use of AI will lead to a denial and blacklist from applying for the Lore-Team.
• Applications are discussed as a whole with the entirety of the Lore-Team.
• You must be active on the server.

WRITING PROMPTS:
RULES

1. You are expected to write in the third person, and narrate in a reliable and neutral tone. Do not focus your prompts specifically on one character’s perspective, but on a bigger picture.
2. There is a 300-1000 word limit that applies to both prompts. Because of flow, if you need to go a little over or under, you are permitted to, but as soon as a prompt is 100 words outside the limit, you will be automatically denied.
3. The effort and quality of both prompts will be taken into consideration when we accept applications.

Summarize a character conflict, roleplay conflict, or event that you experienced (server-wide, personal, etcetera- there is no bar for how ‘interesting’ or ‘impactful’ it is). Be sure to follow the above guidelines.

Create a folklore tale based on an existing area in Karakura of your choosing; tell us a story! Show us how creative you can get. Be sure to follow the above guidelines.
