Describe your activity on the server:
I have been on this server for around 4 years, from summer of 2022 onwards and taking small breaks in between. While 2 of those have been dedicated to the gang/criminal faction, I felt that was all SRP had to offer, engaging in crime gave me the basics for GangRP. I’ll be truthful and admit my knowledge of GangRP and its rules have long faded but I am always willing to listen and learn. After that I have been dedicating myself to a fair amount of other factions since 2025. My favourite one will forever go to the sports faction; going from Swim to volleyball to swim captain, it gave me great experience and a chance to meet new people. Adult factions I have been involved with have consisted of the school faction (Nurse and Teacher), a place where I felt I could help new players get started.

My playtime on my main:When I log on, I spend a considerable amount of time. Roughly around 3-8 hours a day. This won't always be accurate and may be longer or less.
1785376549364.png

What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying has always been the same, even with being denied twice it only fuels my motivation to apply to this faction each time. I can not express how much I love the things to do within KPD whether it be the simple things like patrolling and desk work or the more intense duties such as raiding a suspect's home or arresting a criminal. I would love to be involved in these activities and give my all towards this faction including climbing the ranks and putting in the effort. Another reason for motivation is the roleplay that comes with this faction. KPD has many opportunities to roleplay with the community of SRP and fellow officers in events or just patrolling. I want to make the experiences that a thug or a civilian has with KPD to be fun and exciting and I would adore to be involved with that kind of RP.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
My knowledge of KPD stems from friends in the department, my past applications and studying the informational thread.

Activities:
Duties:
Basis:
Arresting criminals
Officers may arrest/detain a criminal depending on what crime they committed or if they possess any weapons or masks. From there they may read out their rights within the cell.
Taking reports
Whilst at the desk, civilians may walk in to report a crime they’ve witnessed or have been victim to. Officers can take these reports and take statements in a secluded room. From there, they can further investigate the crime.
Taking care of inmates
KPD offers inmate roleplay to those who seek it. This goes from conversations, checking in on them and feeding them.
Assisting citizens
This duty could be done from patrols or being at the desk. Citizens may have the simplest questions about needing help for a serious situation going on. Officers may go to assist these citizens in any of these instances whilst calling backup.
Patrol
Most common activity of the KPD duties. As a civilian you may spot officers walking a dedicated path around the city. The reason for these patrols is to stop general crime, to create visibility to the officers instead of being stuck at the station.
Interrogating
Detectives take part in further investigating a crime by interrogating detained criminals. They may ask an amount of serious questions to piece together what happened.
Town hall / court
KPD may assist or be involved in town hall for many reasons. One of which is court, an inmate that believes their arrest was ‘wrongful’ can take the arresting officer to court. Another reason could be gathering a warrant for a raid.
Raids
After arresting a criminal in possession of a mask or weapon, KPD are allowed to get a warrant to raid a property in search of any further evidence to solidify their arrest. They’ll use a crowbar to pry open the door and search the entire property clean.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
A major proportion of SRP is and has been criminals. It is a lot of peoples first faction and one they experience first hand when they first log on. I can admit it was my first experience when I joined. The safety of citizens rests in KPD’s hands. And without them? The city would be in utter chaos. Officers being in Karakura is enough to stop many crimes out in the open, criminals are less likely to commit a crime with the law nearby. They provide a sense of safety to the civilians and a reason for criminals to be more sneaky instead of reckless. Another reason is for the government to have protection especially during court. A criminal not happy with being sued? Could end poorly for the lawyer or judges. And my final reason is that the roleplay that comes from KPD is also very beneficial for anyone including new players, since officers patrol around, they could assist with simple and small things that citizens are concerned with.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes!

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
When you first glance at the 5’1 woman with a slim build. The first thing you notice is her copper locks. They’d cascaded to her waist with small curls at the end, Tegan takes a lot of care into her hair routine and enjoys frequently using her styling brush! You glance up to lock eyes with her at the station and notice her steel-blue coloured hues staring right back. She returns the look with her own toothy smile, her pink glossy lips shining under the luminescent lights, think of a rabbit nose colour. Vaughan’s makeup resembled tik toks version of clean girl but just… teghans version? Small cat liner, mascara and lip gloss to finish the look off. Her face was covered in soft freckles, reminding you of stars in the night sky; they were all natural! The woman turns back around after giving a small nod, returning to the officer at the desk. Further discussion with her could let you discover that Teghan's personality is of a heart of gold that paired nicely with her appetite for mystery and sweets. Gifting her a box of chocolates or mints and she is instantly your best friend. Her favourite things to do in her free time include: crocheting, pool and tennis. Vaughan enjoys gift giving, she believes secret santa is the best ‘holiday’, simple things like crochet hats for the winter or anything DIY.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
From Teghan’s years of experience in the workforce, she knows that during a professional situation must be handled with the utmost care, especially with dealing with dangerous criminals. She believes every situation should be dealt with appropriately whether it be an interrogation or a simple pat down of a masked individual. Vaughan could argue she has dealt with mini criminals all her life, small children in her eyes? Spawns of satan so she can keep a brave face during even the most intense situations. Casual situations are Teghan's time to breathe and relax, she is a social butterfly and enjoys getting to know the people she works with whether it be at a party or on the job. She thrives in social spaces. You could tell Teghan would be a chatter box, yapping everyone's ear off about her day or something work related. An overall review of Teghan is she is just very happy to be there no matter the circumstance, off and on duty!

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Teghan has adapted quite the taste of who she would rather be placed on shift with throughout her years of childcare and teaching. She quite enjoys the company of individuals who share similar goals and hobbies. She loves co-workers who can open up and enjoy small talk. Hearing all about her fellow co-workers day, whether it be the smallest things or huge announcements makes her extremely happy. Teamwork for her is a HUGEEE thing, Teghan adores doing things with others whether it be solving a crime, doing desk work or patrolling. A lot of that came from her previous job where she had to work with a lot of different teachers to create events for the children.

What's your character's backstory?
A shortened version of her backstory:
0 - 10

Tegan was born on February 12th in Swansea, a city in Wales. The baby inherited her mothers deep blue eyes and her fathers fiery red hair. She was born prematurely which led to her having to stay longer in the NICU. Eventually the newest addition to the Vaughan family recovered and. was able to be brought home. Their house was a quaint little cottage just out of the city, surrounded with nature. The house was cramped with family, Tegan discovered she had 4 other siblings! And she wasn't the last! Two more came after. Her life then on was filled with constant searching, the Vaughan child seemed to have a knack for uncovering mysteries. This was only small though due to her young age, mothers missing bottles? Sisters missing pen? Aunts’s lost dog? Tegan always seemed to uncover the ‘huge’ mystery of missing items. As she grew older, the girl began primary school. Making friends was… a struggle at first, Tegan was never interested in conversations and always seemed distracted, this followed into distractions during school work and unable to keep in her chair. Her parents were called in for a parent/teacher meeting in year 5, her teachers were concerned with her ability to concentrate. Mr and Mrs Vaughan took Tegan to a specialist and got her diagnosed with ADHD which made her able to get the help she needed especially during her SATS the following year.

11 - 16
Tegan’s Secondary school days were nothing but a blur. She had become quite acquainted with a group of four from a few of her classes. Well until year 10, that's when it went all wrong. At the start of the year, Tegan was asked out by a boy in the year above, his looks were charming but they had never formally met prior. She was uninterested and politely rejected him. Vaughan thought that would have been it, would it? The next week Tegan walks through the school gates, she could feel eyes on her from behind and the faint whispers that bounced around her ears. That walk to the front door felt like running a marathon, long and gruelling. Class was not any better. Her friendgroup? Would not even speak to her, just nasty glares from across the room. They had asked to switch seats. Tegan didn't know what was going on and didn't bother, the girl just prayed it would go away in a few weeks. Her prayers were not answered. This ‘bullying’ continued on for months and didn't seem to have an end. The reason? The boy who asked her out could not handle the thought of rejection so he made up this whole rumour about Tegan and her ‘interesting past’ which was never true. Her mental health deteriorated so her parents pulled her out, she never recovered and stuck to being homeschooled.

17 - 22
Tegan finished her GCSES with high grades, moving on to 6th form in a different school. She refused to speak to people, still recovering from the incident from school. At 18, she gets into a good university out of the city making her parents proud. From there she pursued teaching, Vaughan earned her degree at 22. Tegan moves up north, earning a small job as teacher's assistant at a primary school. She brought an apartment close to her workplace, it was a small place, one bedroom and one bathroom. Her job was fine? But there was always something missing, like an empty void that was never filled. This is what she wanted… right? No. It wasn't. What Tegan wanted was mystery, some sort of adventure. It all came to her at the end of the school semester when the class was doing a career day. A boy mentioned wanting to be a detective, solving ‘mysteries’ of murders. Her ears perked up at mystery. Tegan knew what she wanted, when she got back home, Vaughan opened her laptop and searched ‘places with the most history and mystery’ Karakura, Japan popped up. That was all the convincing she needed. With the last remaining funds, she booked a trip to Karakura, a small island off the coast of Japan.

23 - present day
Once in Karakura, Tegan's first objective was to go back to college to earn her bachelors in criminology. Her weekly schedule looked something like: College -> Clubbing -> Sleep. She felt right at home in Karakura, it was all she ever wanted. Home. Or whatever people say in movies. After completing her bachelors at 25, the woman finally walked right up to the station for an interview and she was going to get that.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
“Not to my knowledge, no. I have done a little research before moving to Karakura. It is an immediate arrest with a 3 month sentence and the charge of possession of illegal weaponry."

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
“Hmm… well i could name off quite a few from my time teaching, i’d occasionally take students to the nurses office so I'm aware what they can offer safely without a prescription. Might take me a minute to translate pounds to yen so give me a minute…”
“So I believe you can get:”
- Aspirin for ¥4,500,
- Paracetamol for ¥1,500
- Multivitamins for ¥3,500
- Iron supplements for ¥2,500
- Melatonin for ¥3,000
“Is that five…? I can name more if you need."

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
“Gosh, I would never want to imagine one of my coworkers committing such a crime but I suppose it is something that could happen in today's world. I’m aware that we have access to body cameras that are attached to our vest and are recording 24/7. I’d first assure that it is recording before taking any further steps. Next I'd step in, separating the both before it escalated. Lastly, I'd call EMS to treat any injuries for the inmate depending on the severity before reporting my co-worker to a higher up."

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
“Now, I can see this situation only happening during raids or a patrol near some gang territory. If I am to witness my fellow co-workers being assaulted out on duty I would first bring out my stun blaster, aiming it towards the criminal and verbalising a warning to take their hands off before I use excessive force. If they do not cooperate I will be forced to stun them temporarily and arrest them. Afterwards, I will assure my co-worker is safe and okay, calling EMS if any injuries are serious. My co-workers safety will forever be my number one priority.”

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“I would be most ashamed if this were the case. I trust my co-workers not to turn their back on the station. If I ever did catch them in the act, I'd need to gather as much evidence as I could. I could use my body cam, obtain CCTV, tape record anything I may find whilst off duty and finally a camera to snap photos. It sounds like a good mystery and I am all for investigating it! Once gathering all the evidence over a period offf…. Around a few weeks as that is a rough estimate of when I can most likely gather everything and then send it to a higher-up for them to handle. A lack of evidence can cause me to get fired whilst the perpetrator gets away, so I'll always be sure to make sure to have proof on me!”

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
“A criminal trying to bribe me? Well I would again assume this would be during one of my patrols or questioning. I used to be bribed by students all the time back when I was a primary school teacher, whether it be for detention or homework, I'd say I can handle these more extreme bribes with care. I’d never accept a bribe from a criminal or a criminal's friend no matter the circumstance. From what I'm aware of, any criminals continuing to try to bribe me could be fined ¥25,000 which they can either pay up front or do with community service.”
