So, rules surrounding knife crimes should get their own exclusive rule update. I'm talking exclusively about small meele weps like a pocket knife, weps such as fire axes or katanas are excluded from this. In the world but the UK especially a lot of knife crime, stabbing and killings have happened increasingly without a real reason expect for a fight breaking out. This counteracts the SRP rule about needing 'perms' as such and is a main reason i've written this post. Allow me to explain;
In SRP we should bring in a rule saying how you can stab someone (not take limbs or eyes out etc) which could cause fatalities depending on certain locations. Such as main arteries in legs, neck etc. This rule ofc would have to be inforced with certain other rules making it conditional on when and where you could do this, for example your in a bloody brawl, you pull out your pk and as they charge you lunge to stab them. Again this is conditional, whether you actually should stab them needs a good basis before hand. For example once again, your in a brawl, they seem to be close to knocking you out. If in possesion of a knife in reality, you'd use it at this moment.
In this idea, I want to stress how you could ONLY cause a fatality if for example you are a trained and able gang member (not trial members, trusted+ for example). You couldn't stab someones leg, and just call it a [10 Minute Bleed Out]. You'd have to say in your action the exact location of the artery and the name preferably for it to count.
(This would cause a 10m bleed out) /me She'd position the blade at an angle in her hand. The male would still be led on the floor in agony unable to get up after a failed attempt to stand. She'd quickly slash his femoral artery on both inner thighs, causing him to bleed out. [10 Minutes]
(This wouldn't count as a 10m bleed out) /me She'd take the blade in her hand, and quickly slash the males thighs.
You can see how it is clearly labelled the artery and where the knife is slashing. The second would simple just be a stabbing and could cause major perms.
I think the rule of knife crime would be a great addition for even just small things such as armed robberys (against people not shops) and more. This would make gangrp more avaliable and all you would need is a small meele weapon not a large katana which would be excused in this sense as it would be unrealistic as most people wouldn't carry one on a day to day basis unlike small pocket knifes or knuckle dusters.
:) Let me know what yall think
