Half the time, she's balling her eyes out, though. At first glance, she could be confused for a ten-year-old kid.
Personality:
Sakura is easily pleased but easily displeased, as well. She often has trouble understanding things, so sometimes, if you tell her something like "That's the first time I've seen anyone wear a shirt like that" in a non-rude manner, she might think you meant something like "Your shirt is ugly" and start crying right away. But, on the other hand, she is lovely and always tries to make new friends, usually giving out compliments to everyone she sees.
Tattoos:
She has a heart with flowers around it on her right palm with the initials 'KJ'.

None right now.

(This would probably be a clip of her younger as she does talk better than this, but this can at least give a bit of a view on how she talks

Family:
Sakura has no connection with her family, as she grew up in an orphanage. She isn't sure, but she thinks they are dead. She doesn't know if she has any siblings or cousins.
Backstory:
Sakura was born in Tokyo, Japan, on December 31st. She was abandoned by her parents and left beside the Edo river at age 6, all alone. Some people found her and dropped her off at a police station, which gave her to an orphanage. At the orphanage, she made a friend named Poppy Chun. Poppy told Sakura that 'Poppy' was not her real name but that the orphanage gave it to her since she didn't want to tell them her real one. Sakura and Poppy were always together; they went to school together, played together, and had classes together... Poppy didn't care that Sakura was deaf. To her, Sakura was just an average human, nothing weird about it.
Poppy was practically blind without glasses or contact lenses, so that she could understand Sakura at least a little bit. The orphanage didn't have a school with it, but it was the kids' home. At school, some kids in their class bullied Poppy and Sakura for being weird or abnormal. Even though they were easy targets, Poppy tried to brush it off and help Sakura do the same. People found them easy to bully since they had disabilities and were weirder than everyone else. They usually did things like ripping Sakura's hearing aids out or pulling her hair out. One day, however, they made a new friend.
Someone stepped in as an upstander, helping them out. The person was a girl one year older than them named Kayla. Kayla Jeong. She was from Korea and moved to Japan with her parents. Soon enough, Sakura, Poppy and Kayla were all best friends. When Sakura was 15, she decided it would be easier to be completely deaf and not wear hearing aids. Sakura fell in love too fast. When she turned 16, she started dating even though Poppy and Kayla told her it wasn't a good idea. She always loved whoever she was with her heart, but they usually used her for her body or sexual reasons. She was often harassed or assaulted by her lover. Finally, she decided to stop wearing clothes she liked and to stop dressing up for school.
When the girls graduated, the orphanage wasn't allowed to keep them anymore and let the girls go. Poppy decided that she needed to go to Korea to get in touch with some relatives, and Kayla chose to stay in Tokyo with Sakura. However, that's not how it went. Poppy left, leaving the two girls alone together. They rented an apartment together and spent every day together, and Sakura started to like Kayla romantically. It took her three months to confess her feelings, but she did not feel the same. Sakura was heartbroken, and it was awkward for the next three days between them. Eventually, Sakura and Kayla went to a restaurant for brunch to make up and get close again, like they were before. They had a good time, but Sakura still felt like it was weird. As they walked back, Sakura couldn't take it anymore. Sakura started crying, saying it was all her fault that all this awkwardness and the drift between them had happened, and she ran off into a street. A street with lots of cars. A car was just about to hit Sakura before Kayla pushed her out of the way, sacrificing her own life. Sakura couldn't even believe it; she was in denial. Sakura travelled to Karakura on impulse, scared. She wanted to escape what had happened in Tokyo and push it into the back of her memories. She was alone and no longer protected by the orphanage or her friends. Eventually, she made friends and realized Karakura wasn't too bad. She started to go back to her old fashion and try to connect to her old life. She started wearing hearing aids again recently. Sakura has decided she wants to try to act more grown up since she is very young on the inside; from the period when she wore no hearing aids, she never really grew up as others did. She thinks everyone is friendly and good to be friends with, not realizing they might be dangerous or terrible. However, she'd been told on December 1st, 2022, that Poppy would be travelling to Karakura soon, so she is excited. She had forgotten all about Kayla but has started to remember. She is getting lots of anxiety from it and is worried she'll hurt her other friends as she did to Kayla. She hasn't been able to sleep. She and Poppy got a tattoo together in memory of Kayla. They'd both get hearts with Kayla's initials (KJ) on their hands.
