From what most people know about me, I am the Editor of Karakura News, putting my position as second in command of the faction. I have been in the faction since April 1st, 2024, meaning my 2nd anniversary has just passed this spring. This faction has been my pride and joy since joining it, and I am happy to have been in it for so long. I don’t see myself leaving this faction anytime soon, so here is to another next few years of reports and articles for the community!
Builder:
I am a member of SchoolRP’s own build team, and now have been for a little over a year. My time is spent nearly everywhere on the map. I could be found working on a project up at the shrine, or I could be back down in the city sewers, tunnelling more ways around Karakura's growing population. There is no saying what is next on my project list until it is directly handed to me on a silver spoon. So, just for now, we must wait and see what is up next.
Club Lead:
While I have only had this role a short time, it has become one of my more favourite roles to have. This role has allowed me to become more active on my [M] tag much more frequently, and has allowed me to find enjoyment on my alt account once more.
It shall be safe to say that I remain quite active on the server despite a busy OOC schedule. I will always make room for SRP somewhere in the mix. Even with the rare chance that I am not online, I am most likely playing or hanging out with others from SRP as well, taking on a rare break to assist me to keep going strong for the community.

I am applying for Kiku Doyko, a retail shop.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
Years now have passed since that moment, and I have grown to know shops, what it takes to run one, and the community it involves. Whenever shop apps come out, I get excited to see what people get to come up with. Their ideas and creativity are what drive me to push for something more unique than normal factions.
When I first joined SRP back in 2024, I became astonished at the idea of being able to run my own shop. I had taken part in the shopkeeper roleplay on past medieval servers that I had attended, and I wanted to continue that path on this new server I was exploring. I did try to apply for a shop back then, but sadly and not surprisingly was not accepted due to the fact that I was still super new to SRP and I still didn’t quite understand what it took to even fill out an application. Thankfully I have learned since then.
It often is shown that I enjoy being able to be creative within the community, especially in my roles at Editor, Tailor, and Builder. It is an ability that I enjoy taking a part of, and I wish to experience that same creativity and teamwork that comes from shopkeep. I have been a part of multiple shops, seeing the difference from Retail, to Restaurant, and others. I wish to experience what it takes to be a shopkeeper, to be that leader and run a store of my own, and bring something to view that I believe hasn’t been seen in the shop community so far.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
In the years that I have taken a part of the roleplay and community SRP, I do not believe I could have ever come up with such a unique shop idea, and I am thrilled to finally be able to share it with the community. As many people know, I have grown up in a rural community, or very back roads farm land. I wished to make something that was creative and original, not seen either for a long time, or at all for the Shopkeeper faction. But, I also wanted it to make sense for me to run it, alongside allowing it to blend in with the lore and history that has been made for the server.
Welcome to Sankyō Ichiba, or Mountain Market. We are a farm market that would be located in the old location of Kiku Dokyo. This market would sell just about anything they could get their hands on, (that we are permitted). The vibe that comes with the store is like walking into one of those old mom and pop stores on the side of a country road. You can find things from your childhood there in almost perfect condition. It is rustic and feels like home, while being a complete store. These stores are designed for their community in mind, they provide the necessities and just a bit extra.
Along with the market, I would be adding a twist. Sankyō Ichiba would have it’s own Cafe, serving customers as they shop around for items they did or did not need. The shop strives to be stomping grounds for the Yagi’s, allowing them to stretch their branches out into the city of Karakura and to provide them better access to their fresh produce at more convenient places and timing.
For build wise, I have created a mock build for the exterior that allows people to see the imagination behind this wonderful idea, and alongside that, the ideas I had for the interior.
- The main floor of the shop would be the grand entrance, allowing customers a time travel back into the past. Rustic decorations lined the walls and floors of each isle, masking in perfectly along the shelves of hand written notices for prices. The entire presence of the store would give off nostalgia vibes for those who grew up in the country, and those who tend to be fan favourites of the vibes.
- The cafe, carrying that same vibe from the shop floor, would just transform into that cozy space where someone can sit down for a cup of coffee and a small snack. A large variety of furniture would be in this space, things from couches, to booths, and tables with various decorations for seating. The walls would still be adorned with antiques such as paintings, photography, and many more. I plan on keeping this area open, allowing small groups of friends to come in and chat during shop hours, or allow employees to come in and roleplay.
What will you sell in your shop?:While my shop is focused more on a Grocer view, I want to sell a variety of things that you would see in a day to day retail shop. You don’t see just the minimal things, but a large variety of items that someone could need from day to day.
With Sankyō Ichiba being a Farm Market, it would make sense for farm themed things to be sold here. Farm Markets normally carried the essentials, eggs, dairy, produce, and so on. As well, drinks and snacks would be in that mix, as well as coffee supplies for the cafe upstairs.
As for new customs coming to the shop, I have a small list of them:
- Fresh Produce Sign; this would have the Yagi’s name on it, signifying that this would come from their farm and straight to the market stall at Sankyō Ichiba.
- Crates of Produce: This could be a variety of fruit and sizes. We could have a single crate, or multiple stacked upon others.
- Fresh Jams and Jellies: These would come in both furniture and food props. Allowing people to cook and decorate with these.
- Rack of Aprons: a kitchen decoration allowing those cooks to clutter their home.
- Cup stacks and racks: Coffee cup decorations, allowing the coffee fanatics to decorate their homes with their favourite collection of cups.
- Hanging Pots and Pans: Hanging like a chandelier, the pots take up their space over your kitchen island, a great way to organize your cabinet space for more ingredients!

Now.. who is the wonderful shopkeeper of Sankyō Ichiba... It is non other than Oritarou Bloodworth!
Sankyō Ichiba is a family run farm shop out of Tsubasa, run by his mother's family since the early 1900s. Mr. Oritarou has taken on the responsibility in expanding his family's work to the new era.
