Backstory:
Sara Yamamoto Yotoshi was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She has always been a very quiet girl, only talking to her older sister, Himari Yamamoto, her parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and her cousin, Yumi Yamamoto.
Sara was diagnosed with mild social anxiety, which means she is very shy and has trouble conversing with people around her. She met Clara Sato when she was 4 years old in daycare, and Clara decided to help Sara and became her best friend. Later, Clara introduced her friends Niki and Sakura to Sara, and in the end, they all became lifelong best friends. Sara gained confidence in her friends, Niki, Clara, and Sakura. They became her closest friends.
At the age of 17, she decided to go to Karakura, and her cousin Yumi Yamamoto returned home to take care of things. Sara arrived in Karakura very shy because she didn't have many friends, only Niki, Clara, and Sakura.
While walking through the halls, Sara found someone being attacked. Rose Yotoshi was being bullied and thrown in the trash. Sara rescued her and took her in. Upon waking up, Sara and Rose became very close friends, and she will always protect her friend.
In the end, Rose invited Sara to join the Yotoshi family. Sara joined with joy and happiness, knowing that she now has her sister to rely on. They will protect each other and be great friends.
Sara also got to know Niki Nakamura's sisters and friends. So, Sara trusts them as well and is willing to help them too.
