School Employee Role you are Applying For: School-Technician
How often do you log onto the server?: I log onto the server for 6 hours. I do have school, and so most of the time I spend on the server is over the weekend. The weekends I am on during the afternoons (3:40 pm - 9:10 pm) I am very active on the weekends usually Fridays I am the most and the weekends are on and off. During the weekend I usually log on during the afternoon and the morning (before and after school) (4:30 pm - 9:23 pm: Afternoon) (6:30 am - 8:10 am: Morning) I can give a full schedule if needed just dm via discord.

Do you have a microphone? Yes, I have a mic, however, at the moment it is broken but I will be getting a new one very soon.
Have you ever been banned, If yes when and why?: I have been banned before this was because of the genre of RP I was doing was gruesome. I didn't know that it was considered gruesome cause I have done it on other servers but It was against the rules. I simply did "Eye Bleeds, blood continues dripping." Not too long after that, I was banned I don't know the reasoning. I am going to take an educated guess and say it was against the ICly rules or the server rules. This was back in 2016 I believe and I either applied for an un-ban at the time or I waited until my temp-ban was due.
Can you ensure that you will often come on: Yes, I stated above that my most active times are during the weekends, and I did apply before as School-Technician and I got accepted, however, I resigned not too long ago because of my inactivity. I just didn't have the time but now that most of my school assignments and tests are done I can assure you that I will be on a lot more. I will be doing my job.
Do you recognize that you can be ICly fired?: Yes.
In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee: The role of a School-Technician is an important job. School-Technician is a role that keeps track of the computers, whether it is setting up programs for the students to use for their classes, to keeping the computers clean from viruses, trojans, and any other harmful viruses that could grab ahold of your IP address, location, security information, and more. School-Technicians are supposed to fix electronics such as Ipads, Phones, Computers, printers, and more. School Technicians are also very useful for any technical problems or complications. School Technicians can also help set up monitors, computers, passwords, security cameras, and more. Technicians are very knowledgeable about electronic devices and more.
Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?: Yes, I have experienced this type of roleplay before on an old server I use to play my job there was to be the school technician. and so I was usually on a lot I had to work with other school technicians and by me working with them I got to learn more and more about roleplaying. I was taught how to roleplay as a character that was supposed to set up all of these school computers or even help fix an electronic or help a teacher out during class if they could get a program to work. I never thought that I would play a role as a school-technician but as soon as I applied and got the role it changed my whole school employee roleplay perspective, and honestly, I really enjoyed it.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I started playing Minecraft in June 2013.
I instantly fell in love with the feeling of surviving on your own in a virtual world. I then discovered servers and the first server I joined happened to be a roleplay server. I spent most of my Minecraft career roleplaying. I roleplayed in multiple scenarios and all of them I enjoyed, just the feeling of being someone different from your choice, to remake yourself. Roleplay was a great way to express your self through passion, emotions, and just being your self without someone judging or making an opinion. I then discovered Schoolrp and I have been playing ever since I joined.
Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it: The job helps students and teachers, not only that but the job helps schools out in general. If a school needs help setting up a computer system and or a camera system then I can be there to provide experience, and knowledge that I will have with tech. My job revolves around the schools, teachers, and students safety over the internet. I will also be able to give a helping hand out to teachers, and students, I would be able to help out with any computer problems that they might have as well. You will need to have the knowledge and experience with technology. The role is knowledgeable with all of the experience you have learned through college and your childhood and teen years. It uses everyday resources such as Math, English, ELA, and more. This role is filled with importance and is a suitable role for someone who is fascinated with technology.

During a workshift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?: I'll be calm and handle the situation with an appropriate matter. If the student is acting like it is a joke then I will then take it into a serious matter. Being serious helps out more then you might think it does, it takes matters seriously. It might help the child understand that it is not a joking situation, and it might tell him that he should stop, and think about what he is saying before he says it. If he continues to curse and be inappropriate then I will pull him aside and try to understand why he is acting this way towards me and this helps me get a better understanding of it. I will then tell the Administration and or higher-ups to get this resolved and hopefully the appropriate consequence. (This part is copied and pasted from my other application, I am doing this not only to save time since I am in a little bit of a rush but also I think it should be acceptable since I originally wrote it. This goes for all scenarios.)
You are doing a hazadrous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?: If the job is too dangerous for me or anyone then I will politely decline his request. If it is too dangerous of me, or anyone else to do than it is a way to risky to do. I will try to think of a safer way to get the request done, however, I don't want anyone to be at risk of getting hurt and so if I can not then I will have to decline his request as it would be too dangerous and risky.
Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?: I will politely but in a serious manner tell him/her that they are doing a dangerous job not only could it hurt them but it could potentially take matters into a serious and out of hand. I will ask them to take a side and try to get them to tell me their reasoning behind it. Afterward, I would try to get help them out and if needed to I would take them to higher-ups in order to get the situation more resolved and controlled.

Motivation for Joining YHS: My motivation to join is that I want a better understanding not only that I feel like it would help me make and meet new people within the community. I have wanted to become a part of it because now that I know how to do things I can still learn from being around people whether it's the adults, teachers make me understand more and it helps me act more mature. I have wanted to also inspire children all over the world to hopefully help and make the world a better place. I want to influence others to achieve their goals as I did. Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?: I feel like I should be accepted because my past experience with roleplaying and not only roleplaying but being a school technician I feel like I will be able to do a lot more than what other School Technicians will be able to do. I feel like I know deep down inside of me that I can possibly provide more than what someone else might be able to do, and if accepted it would be an honor to be able to show you what I can do and I would want to help out and be able to be a part of the school.
