Event Calendar
Welcome to the event calendar, here you'll find all of the events planned for this year and the following listed. Events are pre-planned per month, meaning that it is up to the Senior Leadership to select a date and time for each event to be hosted. Events such as Student of The Month are hosted monthly.
Event types:
Major event - Large scale events involving any student on the server, examples: Dances, Elections, etc. — these are always announced via Academics discord.
Mini events - Occasionally pre-announced via the Academics discord, these smaller-scale events tend to only involve a handful of students OR are otherwise considered 'flash' events.
Wild card - Non-scheduled Major event at the discretion of SLT.

March
Spring ball
A seasonal dance with an encouraged floral dress-code, similar to a school "prom"; students are encouraged to dance with their dates and meet new people! This dance will of course have music, drinks, foods and mini-games for you and your friends to play and win rewards.
School sleepover
All Highschool & College students are welcomed to take part in the overnight school sleepover, during which many mini-events will take place hosted by sports teams and student council to keep yourself busy during the night. If that's not your style, plenty of classrooms will be opened with sleeping bags for you and your friends to hang out and enjoy yourselves.
April
Easter festival
This event includes many fun activities for all ages to take part in! Including an Easter Egg hunt, mini-games, food & drink vendors and plenty of opportunities for you to earn prizes and enjoy yourself.
Fire drill
Every season a drill or exercise will take place to ensure student's safety in the unlikely event of a disaster. Students are organised into neat lines as the school is properly cleared for the fire department to inspect the building and disable the alarms. Are you sure it's a drill?
May
School inspection
The local board of education will begin its biannual inspection of the school. Students are advised to be on their best behaviour, whilst Teachers & Professors will feel the pressure as the inspector reviews classes and curriculum.
June
Waterpark trip
All students are invited to join members of faculty and their fellow classmates on a trip to Karakura Waterpark for music, fun and excitement. All of the park's vendors selling ice creams, cold refreshments and pool-related items will be re-opened specifically for this event. Meet your school's lifeguards as the weather begins to warm up and take part in multiple water-related sports and games. Similar to the Waterpark trip, food and drink vendors will be available for cold refreshments & ice cream.
Pep rally
Once a year the Highschool & College cheer-teams will perform a practiced routine to encourage school spirit for the upcoming tournaments and school festivals. Here you'll also have an opportunity to meet the Bobcat & Spartan mascots with photo opportunities and much more.
Parent-Teacher consultation
During this mini event, parents of students will have the opportunity to meet the Principal, Dean and some of their Teachers to ask any questions or concerns they might have regarding their child's education. This opportunity will be available for any verifiable Adult with relation to a student.
July
Cultural day
Cultural day offers opportunities for students to experience other culture's food, lifestyle and religions; classrooms transformed into cafés and informational boards hung all across the school's halls including information on different cultures around the world. The Shrine faction will also be involved in giving information and demonstrations to players.
Sports Tournaments
The long awaited sports team tournaments will take place broken up into three weeks for: Football, Basketball and Volleyball. Other sports such as Track & Swim will host meets at their respective sports area within the school for all to watch. Practice games and scrimmages may take place beforehand as a mini event for those online to attend.
Summer Disco
A seasonal dance with an encouraged tropical dress-code, similar to a school "prom"; students are encouraged to dance with their dates and meet new people! This dance will of course have music, drinks, foods and mini-games for you and your friends to play and win rewards.
August
Shopping district trip
Experience what working in retail is all about and learn from Shopkeepers within the local district how their business operates. This may also be a great opportunity to find some work experience.
September
Annual blood drive
During this time, students will be encouraged to donate a small amount of blood to the local hospital that could potentially save someone's life. Students who take part receive rewards and a sugary treat.
Picture day
Once a year Karakura High & Community College host picture day. All students that attend must wear full school uniform for either Highschool or College and will be assessed on school dress code before having their photo taken. All pictures will be posted on the school website in the form of a yearbook, make sure to give a short quote!
October
KHS Awards Ceremony
Team members, faculty and academic students will be awarded certificates and prizes for their ongoing behaviour within the school and their respective teams. Students will vote on categories such as; "Class clown", "Most valued teacher", "Best captain" and more. After all votes have been counted, a ceremony held by the student body with assistance from senior leadership will announce the winners of each category and award prizes.

A seasonal dance with an encouraged halloween dress-code, similar to a school "prom"; students are encouraged to dance with their dates and meet new people! This dance will of course have music, drinks, foods and mini-games for you and your friends to play and win rewards.
November
Careers day
A day to experience all kinds of professions available around Karakura including internship and work experience programmes over the summer. Explore and learn more about police officers, hospital workers, shopkeepers, monastery volunteers and more.
Faculty appreciation month
Every season, members of faculty from each faction are added onto a separate list of students during the monthly 'Student of The Month'. Each member of faculty who wins to polling votes will receive a ¥50,000 bonus on their monthly pay cheque alongside recognition for their hard work.
December

January
Annual health check-ups
Every year the hospital staff enters the school premises, offering health advice and well wishes for the new year! Alongside vaccinations, blood tests, other medical advice & more. This year is no different. On Saturday the hospital will be heading over to the school grounds to perform various medical exams on the students.
Sports day
Compete in races, obstacle courses or join our varsity sports teams in playing Volleyball, Football, Baseball and more. Those with the highest scores in each activity will receive a prize and a trophy in their team's trophy case.
February
Valentines day
Love is in the air as students purchase confectionary items, candy grams and flowers for their significant others from members of Council & Faculty, each note hand delivered for you. Students can write anonymous messages and play pranks on one another all whilst helping fundraise for school equipment and annual events.
