I am very active on the server,
On week days, I would be on up to 4-6 hours per day as I have face to face school.
On weekends/Public Holidays/School Break : I would be on for 7 to 11 hours per day. Depending on school activities, or arranged plans.

Yes, I have been banned once at the start of last year for having too much warnings.
Warns are due to me using emoticons In Character chats. However, I've stopped and have not been banned since.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Receptionist

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The role of a Receptionist is to greet fellow students when entering the school and answering questions that they may have. For example, new students could have questions on where their classes are located at or require materials such as notebooks. With that, receptionists should help any student or in fact anyone in need. Receptionists are also in charge of collecting and counting reward tokens from students who wish to claim or collect their prizes. Hence, receptionists are required to be polite and calm in any regarding situations.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I first started roleplaying on Roleplay Hub in the late 2017. However, due to the low count of active players and studies. I left School Roleplay Hub (SRP), in April of 2019. During that time span, I was also roleplaying in other servers such as CreativeFun and CandyCraft ( No longer exists ). And I came back on SRP when quarantine was official around March of 2020. And I've made so much friends which made roleplaying more lively and enriching, and I do not regret coming back to SRP. So I've been actively roleplaying for a little more than a year.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
She would show no signs of emotion on her face to hide confusion and frustration and would slowly smile politely towards the student, while asking them what had happened and why they are acting in this manner. No matter what reply the student had said, she'd tell the student to respect her as a person and proceed to tell them to not vent their anger on her. In a kindly said manner, would politely usher or tell them to leave the area as other students might interfere and would situation may get out of hand. She would talk to them out of school compounds and talk to them privately and remind them to treat school staff with respect and handle their issues and problems privately. This is to ensure that the school is used for learning purposes. If they do not wish to exit school or continue their behavior after repeated warnings they would be required to get detention or have a higher school staff handle them.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
She'd speak in a strong and strict manner to command everyone in that area to exit and head to a different location. After the area is cleared she'd quickly interfere and attempt to separate both students by standing in the middle or pull them far away from one another carefully. This is to ensure both would take time to calm down and she would use this time to give a strict verbal warning on their behavior to prevent any further damage done. If the students stop willingly, they would not get any punishments but a warning. However, if they continue the fight, she'd ask for assistance of high school staff or would have to infer physically. After deescalating the situation, she'd give both students detention.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Depending on how serious the situation is. If it is very dangerous, Odette would not tolerate it. She'd approach carefully and ask what they are doing. If what they have done could, or might endanger anyone she would give a talk to them and empathize. However, will still report it to a higher school staff, as Odette does not tolerate such behavior despite any reason and will not risk others safety for a someone's irrational behavior, especially when they are a school employee. School employees are always looked up by students and will always be seen as a role model. Hence, if word spread that the school employee was not disciplined, the students would use this as exploitation and claim that if 'a school employee is able to do such thing they should be allowed as well'. And this is the opposite effect Odette wishes to have as a receptionist and most importantly a school staff. Hence, Odette would report the matter to a higher up if it is very dangerous.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Odette is someone who doesn't like to be very social and prefers to do her own things and have alone time, especially after she had an entire day commuting with students and others.

Odette would enter the break room with as less noise she could make. She would bow to anyone who would have eye contact with her with a slight smile and setting her laptop bag down to the nearest table. She would walk over to the pantry with a straight posture and straight face, preparing herself a cup of coffee. Grabbing her hot cup of coffee she would grab a bread on the way back to her table with her laptop bag, setting the cup of coffee on a coaster and and putting the bread down, making a crinkle sound of the plastic packaging of the bread. She would soothe her skirt before sitting down on a chair next to her bag before taking out her laptop and paperwork. She would open and on her laptop while studying the paper wok in her hand, eyes flowing through the words on the paper. She would then spend the break completely and finishing leftover tasks. Odette would multitask between munching on her bread and coffee while typing and reading. After completing her tasks she would stand up and grab the bread packaging and coffee mug and heading towards the pantry, throwing the wrapping and washing the coffee mug. Odette would head back to the table and pack up her paperwork and laptop before cleaning the crumbs left from the bread. She would then grab her laptop bag and bow to the teachers while saying, " It's late, I heading home, see you tomorrow!" Opening the door and exiting the door quietly.

/me Her eyes would dart between the student in front of her and the papers she would be sorting, shooting a smile towards the student asking politely, " Hello there, How can i help you? "

/me She'd stand up ominously and straightening her posture before approaching the group of students. With a lightly smile on her face with no emotions shown on the upper half of her face, before reminding them with a strong voice "Please do not loiter around and head to class, you're already ten minutes late."

/me She'd set her laptop bag down lightly and neatly on the desk, before patting her chair and smoothing her pencil skirt lightly taking a seat. Carefully taking her laptop out and a stack of papers and sorting out materials and opening her laptop. Her fingers would dance smoothly on the keys with little click sounds, eyes engrossed on the laptop screen.

Backstory
Odette Jeong had a rough childhood, her parents were well off but had enough for the family. She was born in an average living household in Korea. Odette didn’t really have anything she wanted when growing up. For example, when she was a baby her parents couldn’t afford for her to be sent to childcare, so her mom would take leaves in order to take care of their newborn. When she was a toddler she didn’t have any toys unlike the others. However, things took a turn when Odette had entered kindergarten at the age of four years old. Her teacher had slowly become good friend with Odette’s mother. Her teacher knowing their family situation at that time, had recommend Odette’s father to work at her husband’s company, which was doing amazing at that time as they were going international. And true enough, Odette’s father had started working at the company and started earning 5,000,000 Won ( Korean Currency ) monthly. Life was going smooth for the Jeong family. However, when she was ten years old her father was moved to and was to work at Japan, specifically the city of Karakura. After five years, the family returned back to Korea after her father was moved back.

At the age of seventeen, Odette became one of the smartest students in her school. In school she also found her love for the arts, specifically design. She always liked to design products and even buildings that she would get inspiration from just observing her surroundings. Her parents also started noticing her talent and started applying her in competitions where she had won famous awards for the best designs of modern building and new products that catered to society’s needs. Hence, her school started recognizing her talents and had eventually recommended her to travel overseas to pursue her talent and interests back in. Odette’s parents were really supportive of her decision to take the opportunity to travel overseas and even promised to call her every day and would send her money monthly. Eighteen-year-old Odette, decided to choose Commercial and Advertising Art as her major. She was doing extremely well. Odette was able to adapt well to changing environments and had made new friends instantly. She was also keeping in contact with her parents frequently. After three years she decided to take up a minor course which was Industrial Design. Odette had unlimited ideas for builds and infrastructure that are modified to fit the new and changing world. Hence, she decided to learn it even more in depth, taking up Industrial Design. At the age of twenty she had graduated in her Commercial and Advertising Art, which allowed her to focus on Industrial Design for a year. In that year she took it as a break and had went back to her hometown to visit her family and friends. A year later, she started taking up another major, Graphic Design. She had started learning how to make digital art in Graphic Design and started making posters and flyers for companies which allowed her to earn money. She had graduated in Industrial Design in 2014 while she was continuing her major on Graphic Design. She had worked hard in her major and eventually graduated in 2016 when she was twenty-five. In the eight years she was studying, she had proposed many proposals to influential companies and people who were looking to invest products. This gave her exposure in the genre.

After a hectic five years, Odette decided to take a break and went back to Karakura they had once lived in to discover opportunities waiting for her. Hence, she decided to move into a house in Karakura and was taking a stroll in the plaza located near her house, she saw a fellow classmate which was studying the same major of Industrial Design. They caught up with one another and asked how they both ended up in Karakura, this was when her classmate told her she was working at a local library. To be financially stable Odette also decided to find part time jobs at Karakura, eventually finding the passion and motivation to be a Receptionist at a High school near her house, Karakura High School. She wanted to explore her limits and wanted to continue learning something that was different from what she has done from the past. After she applied she got accepted and started working there, and ever since, she’s never been happier in her life. Odette was grateful that she enjoyed doing the job and was learning something new every day. She also had made friend with the fellow teachers who guided her in the first few years she was starting as a receptionist. She is currently financially stable and is able to send money back to her parents.


Motivation for Joining KHS:

My main motivation for joining Karakura High School (KHS) is to gain more experience and continue learning despite my age. I know that being an Receptionist can help me to gain more experience and exposure by interacting with different personalities and ideologies. It allows me to further understand how people think and make me empathize more with others. I also hope that with commuting with students, I can be even more confident on public speaking. This job would also allow me to be able to continue learning even though it's the smallest thing like being able to direct students to their designated classrooms or even just making new friends.

Do you have any previous experience working in a school environment? If so, please elaborate (If not, respond with "N/A"):
I have currently not experience working in a school environment. However, I have been travelling during my studying years and it required me to often stay at hotels for overseas trips with other students such as to the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore where we had to learn Industrial Designing. This gave me an opportunity to learn and observe new environments and the behavior, especially the receptionists since we have to go there every time we check in. For someone who is very observant I've noticed behaviors of hotel guests and learnt how receptionists were able to handle the situation well and prevented it from escalating. Despite having to listen to the guests' complaints, the receptionists were all able to stay calm and collected trying not to anger them further. Hence, I have no previous experience working in a school environment but I have enough knowledge and skill to work in a school environment and I hope I able to make an impact when I start working.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:

Overall, I have a sense of urgency and is always being responsible for anything I do. I am always up to date and will always be able to complete any task given much earlier than the due date. I have adopted that habit from past experiences when studying for Commercial and Advertising art, I had to be able to ideate and come up with ideas for approval and developed into a presentation. That is one way I have learnt that my past experiences are able to help benefit my future, such as having a good sense of urgency and being self-disciplined. From studying and presentations, I was also able to come out of my comfort zone and be more confident with public speaking. With many ideas rejected when I was studying, I became more and more patient and this would help when I become a receptionist as I would be able to handle situations well and would not lash out on the students. I also was able to learn how to present information clearly and precise and I believe that this would help when giving instructions to students who need help locating classes or have any inquiries. Hence, I've learnt many things in the past that benefits me now, the present, I sincerely hope that you've seen that I have the desire to improve myself and help others with knowledge and skills that I have been equipped with.

(OOC) Extra:
My main motivation for applying to be a Receptionist is that I've not seen many with a similar or same time zone as most players are in Europe or America ( which have an opposite time zone from mine ). Hence, there are rarely much roleplaying happening when it is 3pm to 6pm for my time zone. Hence, with the role as Receptionist I hope to help make the roleplay continue to be lively and interesting despite having fewer players than usual. This time zone also allows me to help new players who joined and play around that timing better. And with that ill be able to help those who face the same problem with the lack of players to make the roleplay interesting and motivate them to continue playing School Roleplay Hub.
