Appearance
Seungho would be an 18-year male standing at roughly 5’7’’, his head hung over and his posture was slouched. Looking at the male, his dejected demeanour would often turn people away from him. Although he relished in this as he was a shut-in, or in other terms an introvert. Peering down at the males body, you would notice his lack of nourishment. A quite sickly and scrawny build - It was clear that he did not take care of himself. This is likely due to his cigarette addition and multiple mental illness'. Choi had fair skin, being similar to that of porcelain with a single beauty mark under his left eye. His darken brown eyes were often paired with darker eye bags that gave them an intense sunken in appearance, although one eye would be often slightly covered by his wavy black hair, often looking like he had just rolled out of bed. It always seemed there would be some sort of cigarette ash that would be dispersed on his clothing.
Personality;
Seungho's looks paint him as standoffish, and for the most part this was true. Choi was mostly introverted, often coming out of his shell only when forced out by his friend, Céline Aris. Looking at the two from afar, you would not believe them to be close due to Celines more extroverted nature, as well as her posh standards. But Seungho found Celine to be his only true friend, and this was due to her constantly pushing the limits on his comfort zone. In the rare cases he spoke, he was fairly soft-spoken with a slight smokers rasp. Talking to someone he was comfortable with would lead him to go on extreme tangents - although this was obviously only rarely seen with Celine. In the instance that he was without his cigarettes, he would become quite agitated, often leaving conversations. Even when comfortable with people he always rules off physical touch as it reminds him of past memories he’d rather forget.
Backstory;
Seungho was born in Sydney, Australia to his Korean mother and Australian father, making him half of both. Growing up in Australia was never easy for Seungho, he was heavily discriminated against for his lack of a “Caucasian” ethnic look, often coming home crying to his mother. His father however was quite traditional and believed that males were tough and didn't show emotion, often abusing him verbally and physically to “teach him a lesson”. Eventually, at age 8 his mother packed up their things and fled back to Korea eventually filing for full custody of Seungho.
Roughly a year had passed and Seungho had to completely learn the language, he did have some knowledge of the language however not fluent enough to be placed in schooling. He learnt Korean through various cultural activities his mother had prepared for him, as well as formal tutoring. Upon entering school, Seungho had always been the oldest in his classes, which led him to once again get picked on for being “dumb” and “behind” - Although surprisingly, he was quite intelligent and a good student. From here on he kept switching schools where he would continuously get good grades, but in return his mental health had plummeted immensely from the intense bullying, leading him to the eventual despair of his education. During early high-school, Choi found himself in with a group of delinquents. He shortly became violent, enacting out revenge on his former peers. His mother grew to be quite worried, his school was constantly calling, threatening failure. In instances he even found himself involved with the police. One instance of this more serious than previous. One day, some passerby attacked his demeanour, sending him into a fit of rage unlike any other - At this time he had already had a lot of issues bubbling up; school, his mothers harassment about his education, the bullying of his childhood along with undiagnosed disorders. Choi attacked the man, stabbing him 3 times in the chest before a stranger pinned him down. Luckily the man lived and did not press charges, however Seungho was still charged and put on probation. Shortly after his mother admitted him into a mental hospital as a last option. He was diagnosed with depression, anxiety and put into multiple accounts of therapy.
Long after, he was released from the mental asylum, his mother decided that Korea was not a good place for him to be brought up in either, moving them to Karakura, Japan. This was a fresh start for the young male, shortly living with his Grandmother and Grandfather whilst his mother found a job to support them in Japan. Despite it being a fresh start, he would continue to have the same dejected demeanour, but no longer acting out on his anger. After a couple of months of learning the basic language he made the decision to attend schooling again. His mother was quite hesitant, however deciding to let her son attend.
