Shop wanted: Shop 10- 'Kiyoura' which I would change the name of.
Why do you want to own a shop?:
I want to own a shop for multiple reasons.
#1: I want to own a shop because, it's something different. I would love to attempt being a Shop Owner. I feel like I would enjoy the experience of being a Shop Owner and having all the responsibilites. Adventuring out into a completely different type of RPing is something I would love to experience on SRP, I have never been a Shop Owner before so if I do get accepted, I'd be able to learn about how to: run it, advertise it, restock, employ the suited employees, etc..
#2: I would like to prove to myself that I am responsible enough to run a shop like Kiyoura. I would put my heart and soul into the shop and try to make it the best that it could possibly be. I have worked at Kiyoura on my character so I know the ins and outs of being a waitress and I've always wanted to exploit myself to being the actual OWNER to a shop. I think I, personally, DO have the capability to run a Shop and I think enjoying it is a major part of it and I'd love to try that! I just really want to challenge myself with the huge role and responsibilty of being a Shop Owner.
#3: I've always wanted to own a cafe/restaurant instead of an item shop, gift shop, etc. My character has always worked at RESTAURANTS and that's what I have most experience in. I feel like running a restaurant seems to most enjoyable to ME.
#4: I also am VERY active, I'm online every single day for many owners and I feel like the roleplayers of SchoolRP deserve to have a shop that has a very active owner instead of an owner who is inactive. I can't even express how much I'm online, I seriously spend way too much time on SRP. I'd open it everyday if possible and work on it ALOT.
#5: And as I said, similar to what I was saying about adventuring out into different types of roleplay, I want to enjoy roleplaying more and owning a shop and actually working HARD for it is something I'd LOVE to do.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
I plan to:
#1: Open it very reguarly. I would love to be very active with this shop. I am VERY active so I think that it's good that Kiyoura can be open reguarly and a lot. Kiyoura hasn't been very active for a while so it'd be nice to cause it to become an active cafe that opens on a daily basis.
#2: If possible, I would like to change the colour to something more modern. Instead of the blue, a pink colour and the uniforms I have made are actually pink and white. So I'd like a pink and white theme. The cafe is already blue and white, so if I can change the blue to pink (not magenta) then that'd be nice and fit the aesthetic of the uniform.
#3: I would like to design the waitress/waitor outfits due to the colour coordination of the place. I'm a perfectionist and love when colours and things in general are neat.
#4: I also would like to allow a lot of family dinners here. As a family leader, I know the struggle of finding a restaurant that is open to allowing family dinners there. I think it puts a good reputation on the shop too if you are kind to the customers, allowing them to let their family dinners being held there.
#5: I would like to have a set menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Depending on the time, I would give different menus for whatever time it is. However, I would mostly open at Lunchtime/Evening IC time as to me, it feels more like a dinner-type restaurant rather than a breakfast but now and again I would open in the morning for breakfast. Perhaps on Sundays it could be open just for breakfast.
#6: I would most likely have the windows as pink (light pink, not magenta) and then the rest being white as I've already tried that out on singleplayer and it looks very aesthetic.
#7: I would make the inside more welcoming and 'cute'. The inside is a little dull for my liking at the moment so I would wish to change that.
#8: When opening at night time (8pm onwards), I would love to open the bar with a bartender and mainly open in the other room (where the VIP part is) and in the day it'd be in the cafe.
How will your shop be unique?:
It would be unqiue in a lot of ways:
#1: I would like to hold events at the restaurant. For example: Engagement parties, Speed Dating, Baby showers, Baby gender reveal parties, After wedding parties, Birthday parties, Family dinners (as I said), Quiz nights, Celebrations, etc..
#2: I would also like to have menus for different times: Breakfast Menu, Lunchtime Menu & the Normal Menu. I would also like to make it 10% off or another percentage for using the Lunchtime Menu as it's realistic and in real life, this happens in many restaurants.
#3: It would be a family run business. I would like to include the Delaney Family as much as I can as ICly our family is supposed to be a very close family.
#4: I would also make a 50% off deal for days like: Christmas Eve, Easter, Halloween, Black Friday, 4th of July, etc..
#5: I would also like to teach my employee's how to serve people. I'd also like to test my employees on how well they are serving. I'd watch them carefully to see how well they're doing during their work time, to see if they're slacking off or not.
#6: When being accepted, I'd hold a training course before being OFFICIALLY accepted, like for example, when accepted, they'd have their first day and I'd watch them and then tell them whether they are officially accepted or not. Kind of like when you go for an audition then you get a recall and THEN you get the job.
#7: I would like it to be open for a long period of time. I would like to open it a lot as I am very active so why would I waste time when I could open it?
#8: I would like to make it feel like a classy café. I'd like to seat people rather than them running around the place choosing where they sit. It would be more of a modern, high class café.
How many employees are you planning to have?:
I'm planning on having:
Waitress's/Waiter's: 7-8.- Pretty simple, they serve the food, get the orders, tell the chef's the orders, take them to the guests at the tables. This is the most popular job as this is what you need the most of as there are many tables to be served. Here is what the waitress & waiter outfit would look like (made by me):
Manager: 1-2. - Manager is in charge of how the staff is working. If there's a complaint, the guest will ask to see the manager or the owner. The manager is 1 under the Co-Owner.
Chef's: 2-4 - The chef's cook the food. They'll read the given order's then get them from the chest and cook it then pass it to the waiter/waitress to serve to the guest.
Co-owner: 1 - The co-owner is mostly working with the Owner. They don't necessarily have to be a waitor/waitress but they work alongside the Owner. They are the 2nd most important role (under the Owner of course).
Bartenders: 1-2 - The bartenders work at the nightime/evening. They serve the alcoholic drinks at the bar which would be in the VIP part in the cafe. The bartenders would also wear the same outfit as the waitress and waiter.
