Why do you want to own a shop?: I want a shop on this server because I want to give players a place to go to and relax, make friends and have a great time doing rp together! I feel that owning a shop is a great way to give back to the community, Also I want to expand on the customers rp experiences by giving them a great time at the Cafe and this will also open up new rp opportunities for me too! I want to own this/a shop for a few reasons. It will be fun to find out how Im like as a shop owner and see what goals I can reach. In my opinion it can create a whole new world of rp which Im interested to explore and find more about.
Business rp seems a really great and fun thing to do, and just be part of! Its a whole different experience for me, I have never done anything like it but, theres a first time for everything and I find myself very open-minded about new things. Some may say shops are the same just sell slightly different things, they could also say they are in different locations, My goal is to make my shop stand out! I want my shop to be known as the one that you can rely on being open most of the time as Im on extremely often. Running a shop can be hard because I understand that no matter what you do, you can't please everyone but I want to give this my best shot and 110% effort, a shop can be hard to keep in order and make sure everyone is behaving but I really think I have the potential to be a good rp shop owner as I work towards things I want, sometimes I don't always get there but I always give everything my very best and running a rp shop is no different!
By running a shop I plan to expand my knowledge about shops and my boundaries by opening, restocking and closing the shop. I feel that this would extend my boundaries and give me more confidence in general.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
I plan to create a Cosy WinterWonderland in the Winter and an exotic vibe in the Summer, I also plan to change the colours to a vivid Red a I feel that that is an all year round colour and shouts Cafe more than Blue does. I want to bring the character of the building alive and let it thrive while people enjoy the things we sell there and the warming and cosy touch we will create! I will have a special deal that no other place has and that will be if you spend 10K in the Cafe you get a free Plushie of your choice.
Each day I want to have something different to attract people to the Cafe, for example an idea is:
Monday: 15% off all Food!
Tuesday: 50% off all drinks
Wednesday: 20% off all Toys you can buy
Thursday: Japanese Night
Friday: Stand Up Comedy Night
Saturday: 25% off everything
Sunday: 25% off everything
(This is In real Life days)
How will your shop be unique?: People who work there will get a huge discount on anything they buy there! The Cafe will have a lot of plants and nature surrounding a beautifully furnished space for people to relax. For different holiday events, such as Christmas I would like to include special deals for everyone. I want to Create a Vintage and Retro look as that basically sums me up in real life and I feel that it is very out there compared to the other place, I want it to be known for having a inspirational touch on people. I want to revive the memory of the past owners by putting their names on signs in booths for people to remember the hard work and effort the put into the cafe. I also think that the church shouldn't be the only place where people celebrate a wedding so we will host Weddings, Birthday Parties, Celebrations etc and very little (affordable) prises. I will make it easy for people to donate money to the shop if they want to help it out, This will be used to get more stock in. I will also advertise my (in game) phone number to people so they can get a take away from the place if they are unable to come at that moment! Every so often I will host competitions for customers to take part in to make their experience here more enjoyable and make them express their true talents, prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, this will attract people's attention and make a adorable little corner of the town thrive with life! All Staff that work there will be friendly and extremely approachable, this will create a welcoming feel and if customers are having any problems the the staff who work there will be more than happy to listen to them and give the some friendly advice. If Staff members of the Cafe don't feel that this is enough I am willing to despise it with them so they feel that they are getting payed fairly.
I also want to have a gift shop somewhere so people can buy hats and phones, I feel that this is unique because no other place has it (so far) and It could really attract people to come. This will also be good because some times when Im online no shops open so I could open my shop and people have a Cafe/Restaurant and a gift shop all in one!
How many employees are you planning to have?:
Staff will be payed fairly depending on what job they do:
Waiter/Waitress: 5,000 Per Shift
Chef: 8,000 Per Shift
Security: 8,000 Per Shift
Take-away Delivery Person: 10,000 Per shift
If Staff members of the Cafe don't feel that this is enough I am willing to despise it with them so they feel that they are getting payed fairly.
Waiter/Waitress: I would like at least 5 or 6 because from the outside the build look pretty big and not all Staff will be on at once so hopefully at least some will be on when I choose to open the store.
Chef: I would like at least 3 or 4 as if they have somewhere to go I will have enough to let them go.
Security: I would like at least 2 or 3 online when the shop first opens as it will be the first time I own a shop and I don't know how much/what type of trouble there will be so it would be nice to have some backup while I get started.
Take-Away Delivery Person: I would like at least 1 or 2 of them online at once. I would like it to be possible for people to get delivery's to them, in case they are unable to make it there, this way people can enjoy nice food from their homes!
I would like to have at least 2 more people that are able to open the shop when Im offline, I would like 1 to be awake when Im asleep so the shop can be open most of the time and people who have a different time zone as me will be able to go there. This person will sort of be co-owner. As for the other person they will just be able to open it up if Im not on, they will sort of be like a co-owner too!
Note:
I would like a while to get some staff to work there, I want to make sure they are trustworthy and I would like some time to refurnish the place to make it cosy and vintage. I really think I could do well with the cafe and it would be truly amazing if this application got accepted as it would be bring a whole new chapter to my rp experience.
