Shop wanted: Shop 3, KFC
Why do you want to own a shop: I have a few different reasons for why I want to own a shop but I’ll only list some of them. Ever since shops started becoming available to own, I knew I wanted to make an attempt at running one. Clearly I haven't owned a shop on this server yet, but I plan to change that now. First off I want to be more involved in the community and I believe that being a shop owner would make my experience on the server a lot more interesting. Currently in the role that I'm playing now I'm often bored and I have nothing to work for. We just stand around doing nothing, partly due to the fact that shops are rarely open. I plan to change that. I would like to make my store a place with a friendly atmosphere where people could come to meet new people and enjoy delicious food. Especially when I'm on at night there aren't too many people playing, the ones who are playing are bored and are just standing around, either at spawn or 11/7. If I get the privilege of owning this shop I would open it during these dark, boring times to give people something to do and somewhere nice to hang out. A lot of people who are new on the server don't really feel comfortable talking to new people. I would make it a priority for my employees to make those new people feel welcome. I’d love to host private events for people. Like maybe birthday parties or just any type of party really. I feel that being a shop owner would be a perfect fit for me. Im hard working and once I have something to do Im committed to it. Being a shop owner would give me a sense of purpose because as of right now I just aimlessly wander around the server. Ive spent a lot of money at most of the stores on the server and I believe that I would be able to make a fair amount of money myself If I were to own this store. At the moment Im running a bit low on money as well and Im struggling to find a way to earn more. Those are some of the reasons for why I would want to own this shop. I would be so thankful if I got this position.
What do you plan to do with the shop: As I mentioned in the last question I plan to make my shop a place where anyone could come hang out. I would ensure that whoever entered would have great experience. I would like to change the name of the store to K. It stands for my last name, Kostco. I plan to keep the same type of food that KFC is selling now but I would like to make the experience a bit more formal. A host would lead you to your seat and then a waiter or waitress would come take your order then bring your food to you. As opposed to the old set up where to you go up order your food then take it to your seat. I feel that this just gives the customers a better overall experience. Im free most weekends to play on the server so I will have the shop open. Of course I can play weekdays after 4:00 because I have school.
How will your shop be unique: I briefly mentioned this in my first question but I would love to host parties from time to time. Anyone could call and book a time for say a birthday party or something and of course pay for it. Another thing I think would be interesting would be having live performances. I could get maybe some singers or dancers to come in and perform a couple nights a week. I was also thinking about having an open mic for anyone to come up perform whatever they like (It has to be approved by me or any of the employees first) So if anyone has some jokes to tell or they want to sing a song they have the opportunity to do it. I want my store to be a safe space where people feel comfortable. I’ll also have maybe a separate space somewhere where people can go just to chill. If they’re sitting in that specific area the waiters will know not to take their order. I’ll also plan some organized games those people can play. I know how boring the server can get so I want to provide a space where people can just come to talk and play games with other people. Those games will be planned by the employees or myself even. If I do get the shop I’ll keep coming up with more ideas to make it unique and special.
How many employees do you plan to have: I think I only plan to hire maybe 7 - 10 employees. 1 or 2 of them would be the host or hostess who greets people at the door and shows them to their seat. I would need to hire them myself to make sure they are friendly enough to be the first people anyone sees when the walk in. They would need to represent the store well. 4 or 5 would be the waiters and waitress’. A few of them would be security. Security will need a basic knowledge of how to keep customers safe. Ill have a few cleaners. My sister Emma Kostco has already volunteered to do any of the positions I've listed above, she will kind of help me run the store. All these employees will be welcoming and will make sure to put the well being of everyone that enters the store first
