Why do you want to own a shop?: I want this Restaurant because I want to give players a place to go to and relax, make friends and have a great time doing rp together! I feel that owning a shop is a great way to give back to the community. I also want to expand on the customers rp experiences by giving them a great time at The Restaurant, this will also open up new rp opportunities for me too! I want to own this shop for a few reasons. It will be fun to find out how Im like as a shop owner and see what goals I can reach. In my opinion it can create a whole new world of rp which Im interested to explore and find more about.
Business rp seems a really great and interesting thing to do, and just be part of! Its a whole different experience for me, I have never done anything like it but, theres a first time for everything and I find myself very open-minded about new things. Some may say shops are the same just sell slightly different things with different prices. My goal is to make my shop stand out! I want my shop to be known as the one that you can rely on being open most of the time as Im on extremely often. Running a shop can be hard because I understand that no matter what you do, you can't please everyone but I want to give this my best shot and 110% effort, a shop can be hard to keep in order and make sure everyone is behaving but I really think I have the potential to be a good rp shop owner as I work extremely hard and always try my best, I would love to be able to show how good of a shop owner I can be if I just get a chance.
By running a shop I plan to expand my knowledge about shops and my boundaries by opening, restocking and closing the shop, I feel that this would give me more confidence in general.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
I plan to create a cosy and welcoming environment as well as bringing the character of the building alive and let it thrive while people enjoy the things we sell there, and the small details I would include to make it unique. I want to include a deal that if people spend 6K or more they get a free plushie of their choice, this is a way to give back to the customers and say thank you for spending money here as I don't want to run a shop that doesn't give back to the customers generously.
I also plan to give the shop a whole new make over to make it more in the past as I feel that there are many shops that don't have this feature and I think that the vintage/retro look would really suit the shop. I plan to add brick and a gorgeous red to keep some of the old look but also add a little extra to it, I would want to have booths and couches as I feel that they create a more comforting look, I would also include some basic dinner tables for people who don't really want to relax there. I also want to include a fire place to make it cosy, I would also like a few bookcases so people can read while they relax and study there. I want to turn this one shop into many.
Prices will be cheap and affordable as I understand that people with not a lot of money can't always afford for a basic snack in rp, this just makes it a better environment as everyone will be able to pay/afford most things they want.
How will your shop be unique?: The Restaurant will have a lot of plants and nature surrounding a beautifully furnished space for people to relax. I want to Create a Vintage and Retro look as I feel that it would suit the shop perfectly, I also want to make the most amazing place for people of all ages in rp to come and relax. I want the restaurant to hold celebrations as I think that not many places are open to arranging a party/celebration in rp for a reasonable price. I will also be open to giving my (in game) phone number to people so they can ask questions or contact me if needed. Every so often I will host competitions for customers to take part in to make their experience here more enjoyable and make them express their true talents, prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, this will attract people's attention and make the towns community come together more. I want all workers there will be friendly and extremely approachable, this will create a welcoming feel and if customers are having any problems the the staff who work there will be more than happy to listen to them and give the some friendly advice. The people wanting to become staff will have to have an interview so I can get the best of the best and so I know I can trust them.
I want to have a gift shop somewhere so the restaurant has it all, I feel that this is unique because no other place has it (so far) and It could really attract people to come and have a great time.
How many employees are you planning to have?:
Staff will be payed fairly depending on what job they do:
(4) Waiter/Waitress: 5,000 Per Shift
(2) Security: 8,000 Per Shift
(3) Worker at Gift shop
A few co-owners to open the store when Im not on. Staff members will need permission from these people to open the store. The co-owners will be people I trust and know I can rely on. I would want at least 2 people that can open the store when Im away.
Note:
I would like time to get some staff to work there, I want to make sure they are trustworthy and I would like some time to refurnish the place to make it cosy and a pretty hangout spot suitable for all ages. I really think I could do well with this shop and it would be truly amazing if this application got accepted as it would be bring a whole new chapter to my rp experience.
