Shop wanted: Shop number 5 - Blocky Mart!
Why do you want to own a shop?: I want to own a shop because people in school require money and many stores around the neighbourhood barely open. Blocky mart is near the school so people can go there for their needs. I also want to own a shop to help people with their needs and maybe a Few job opportunities. This very shop has been my very favourite and its hard to leave it there without an owner. The shop has a high ceiling which can be lowered down, creating two floors. I want to change Blocky Mart into a better and a well-developed store. The main reason I want to own a shop because I want to show people how this very shop can help the littlest amount of people in many ways of entertainment
What do you plan to do with the shop?: I want Blocky Mart to have a unique style. It should be filled with bright colours which surround the store. The store can also have two floors so people can have more varieties of items which they want. There can be more stalls like this and more stuff to sell. I would like to have a stock room which will have back up items if the chests in the cashier counter are missing things. The cash counter will be significant so three cashiers can stand there along with crates for the goods. I also plan to have music in the store so people can walk in the serenity around the shop. The shop will have large stalls which will have signs that show what all is there. The stalls will be divided into music, electronics and food items so that there is no confusion.
The items around the city will also be there in Blocky Mart. Therefore, people will leave with grins on their faces. Blocky mart can have the same concept as before, but I would like to include a small little cafe with cheap drinks like what used to be there in 11/7. There would be four varieties of slushies (orange, strawberry, green apple and lime), maybe hot chocolate, iced coffee and also milkshakes. The cafe would be located on the second floor but the corner. In Blocky mart, I would also like to have a separate area for people who want beer and cigarettes because I think it is very unhygienic to keep them together. In the store, I would like a vending machine with the peach and marshmallow treats if someone is not able to afford something they can buy something small but impactful.
How will your shop be unique?: If I get the chance to own blocky mart, as an owner I would say that our store will be unique with our colours and banners around the store which will attract more attention. The store will be significant because of its two-floor upgrade, which will be very good for the people. The central part of the unique part of the store will be the uniforms. The uniforms will be formal, but in a way that everyone feels welcomed and also feel safe. The banners would have random item pictures which will show what all is there in the store. These banners will mainly have the limited edition and almost sold Out items. Our store will be unique with style for the most part, but the attitude matters a lot. The attitude which is in the air will give the customers the right mindset on what to buy. The shop will be a place for all ages.
How many employees are you planning to have?: I am thinking of a manager and co-owner which will handle the place when I am not around. Then two runners to go around the neighbourhood hood saying the store is open. I want six cashiers, which are people who cooperate. Also, I would like four security members, two outside for the safety of the store and two on each organised and alert in the cashier lanes and whatever their job is they have to be giving attention to what is going on in the store, especially security and cashiers. It Means 14 employees. All the employees should be organised and alert in the cashier lanes and whatever their job is they have to be giving attention to what is going on in the store, especially security and cashiers. The employees will have separate uniforms which will be taken from NameMc, an exclusive site just for clothes. All employees should have a phone with them, so if we are online, we can talk on the phone. All the employees should be cooperating and contributing to their job, and if they fail to do so, they can be fired. All workers must be there on the shift. The people at the store must not feel insulted by the employees because if any argument commences, it will come down to my decision to give them a warning or not.
