Please allow us to edit the balcony for the new penthouse in shopping district. As you can see, this penthouse room lost a huge section comparing to the one next door, and it is frustrating not being able to put any type of decoration and place blocks at the balcony.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Allow players to decorate the balcony since it's still part of their room, and when players pay for the place, the whole place should be available to be decorated.

i believe this was done to preserve the streetscape of the new district (especially after all the work the builders put into it!!).
if you need a reminder of how much of an eyesore the old neon pink & green banner spammed balconies were, you can visit any of the complexes near beach.

+1 forever and ever i'll be heavily against calling others people's work "eyesore" just because it doesn't fit our idea of aesthetic. Balconies should be editable, they're a part of the property we pay for. If not - we should be allowed to ask a builder (it used to be a thing, I hope it still is, but I am unsure) to decorate it for us, so the streetscape can be perserved, while the space is used and personalised, then I believe both parties would be happy

Perhaps staff and players could reach a middle ground by allowing players to use furniture in balconies instead of blocks. That would prevent people from making wooden cages in plain view of any passing civilian in the shopping district while also allowing customization.

I'm also in favor of a middle-ground solution...
giving people the option to decorate with furniture themselves or hire builders to customize their balconies.
It would improve the overall aesthetic and help stimulate the IC economy.
