Shop wanted: I would like to apply for the shop that is known as Esteban 1981, however I would like to change the name to
Atsumaru
Why do you want to own a shop?: Personally, my desire to own a shop can be led back to many roots. Partially, the reason I want to own a shop is to enhance the experience of the players, I feel as if shops were to become more active, players would enjoy themselves more, and I consider myself to be fairly active in the community. Throughout my overall time on srp, I’ve found that participating as a customer for the shops has overall been among the highlights of the time I’ve had here on the server, what I wish to do is to spread this to more people and be the one that’s giving instead of receiving. On top of this, I feel that owning a shop would be a great experience overall, not only would it benefit others that may enjoy the shop and what we have to offer, but it will also open up new opportunities to both myself, anyone that works there, or anyone that buys from there. On top of this, it adds to one's personal enjoyment and experiences, roleplay experiences are benefitted as well. I personally believe that if I find something that I truly enjoy, I will devote a large amount of effort into it, so I believe that the effort I put into shop owner would benefit the whole of the server. In addition to this, I feel that another shop in general on the server would benefit the overall activity on the server, giving players more reasons to want to log on each day, also providing interviews for them to be hired.
What do you plan to do with the shop?: I plan to use this shop to bring people together. I feel that it would bring a new, and unique roleplay experience into the SchoolRP server to add this shop, bringing it new; and more realistic life to it. This will not only help our workers gain experience in the roleplay field, but bring our customers a fun time that will be sure to improve their experience on the server. We hope to all around bring players together for the bettering of roleplay and their experience. I believe that I could use the shop to great means and overall improve the peoples experience, giving people opportunities, allow people to enjoy themselves, and provide people with our shops goods. If I were to be accepted, I would even further indulge into the feeling of the shop. I would like to make entering the restaurant an experience, rather than just another place to eat. Given that it’s a diner, the theme indulges into the historic periods, going around the 1930s through the 1980s. I would add more classic diner options, providing more of a feeling to the restaurant. I plan to open as much as I would be able to, as this would provide an opportunity for more people to experience the feeling that I wish to induce into the visitors of the restaurant. I want to somewhat change the theme, though, from a diner to a setup similar to that of the well known restaurant known as Cracker Barrel.
How will your shop be unique?: The main contributor that would make my shop stand out from the rest of the shops is the template that has already been set up for myself. This creates a nice place to visit with friends and offer a social place instead of simply a shop or a restaurant. I would likely plan events, offering variety in the shop so that every time that you came would be a different experience, even though it’d be the same shop that you’re entering. Some examples of this would be choosing different time periods to be based upon. Rotating throughout the time periods that diners were involved heavily, we’d attempt to create an allusion to showcase these periods. Changing the outfits that are found, and maybe offering special offers on certain objects, i.e. a deal where ice cream was priced down during the summer, and some type of summer outing that the citizens of Karakura could each partake in and have an enjoyable time. It would offer a restaurant while also having a sort of suivaneer shop as well.
How many employees are you planning to have?: I plan to hire 11 employees that will be interviewed and kept active in order to maintain activity in the shop and keep the shopping aspect of the server alive. I feel as though eleven employees is optimum as it will maximize that if people cannot make it to shifts, which is totally understandable, then we’d still have enough people to function the shop properly and efficiently to the best of our abilities. We plan to have various roles completing specific tasks that contribute to the shop as a whole. We will likely find these players via application or interview IC (In character) or OOC (out of character) depending on what seems right.
(1) Owner: The owner of the shop would function as a manager, insisting that each of the employees are properly doing what they’re meant, and maximise efficiency.
(1) Co-owner: The co-owner would be doing the same work as the cashiers, and help to manage them while also helping them to the workplace and tasks aspect of the job.
(5) waiters: The waiters are in charge of the distribution of the goods, and managing of funds received during work hours.
(4) cooks: The cooks will of course be in charge of preparing the meals. When the waiters give the order, the cooks would then prepare the meal.
