What's your suggestion?:
I've gathered a few small suggestions that could improve the readability and user experience of the Editmode Inventory, specifically regarding the SchoolRP resource-pack. These ideas are based on the latest version of the public resource pack from the forums, so please let me know if any of these ideas are outdated or unfeasible!

1. Rename "Oak Door" to "Reinforced Door"
This door is common to see in CrimeRP environments and faction buildings, but its default name ("Oak Door") can make it hard for newer players to find it in the editmode inventory. A more descriptive name could be "Reinforced Door", or any name approved by the Media Lead.

This change can be done by modifying the en_us.lang file and adding:

"block.minecraft.oak_door":"Reinforced Door"

As a matter of fact, the resource pack already applies this method to other blocks and doors, so there should be no technical difficulties that could prevent this implementation.

2. Add a Custom Sprite for the Classroom Door
In this case, while this item does have a changed name ("Classroom Door"), its inventory sprite is still that of a Crimson Door. At first, I myself struggled to find the actual block for this item, and had to stop by and look through the doors section to find the Classroom Door, based on their name rather than their inventory sprite. Below is a screenshot explaining what I mean

This point aims to update the door's item sprite so that it matches the block model, as this mismatch could lead to confusion, especially for new players. This change would fall under the Media Lead’s responsibilities, as it would require the creation of a new sprite for this door as mentioned earlier. It would look something like this (this was kind of rushed, so the actual sprite will probably look better than this):

3. Changes to the Redstone Torch/Bulb
Finally, one thing I've noticed is that redstone torches (or rather, their red bulb re-model) won't display when placed ontop of a block as seen in the screenshot below:

Now, I contemplated the possibility of this being an intentional feature so builders could also use the original redstone torch design, so I came up wiht a work-around for this potential concern: Migrate the Redstone Bulb model to a furniture piece, allowing builders to place down both versions of this model without sacrificing either one of them (similar to what happened with sinks & toilets)

This last suggestion is more so for builders, as I believe players don't have access to redstone blocks at all. However, going for the work-around I mentioned earlier could lead to players getting access to this newly-migrated furniture piece without worrying about redstone issues at all.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
These suggestions aim to improve the Creative Inventory experience, be it through editmode or creative (for builders only), and should be fairly simple to implement. I'll be happy to hear what you think about these changes! ^^

-1 I believe redstone torches can’t be obtained.
It’s not at all easy to rename items as you expect EVERY SINGLE PLAYER to use THE EXACT language setting en_us

Furtheron, if people can’t find the door then why not just go to the tab and scroll?? And why would one even need a classroom door in their property? (The sprite can be changed, that much)

also, please note you can’t just put any random image sprite as item sprite. In the JSON file (blockbench) you need to set the model to a transform, rotation and scale to what you wish for the GUI using the “Display” feature! :D

i feel like this should not happen because they are used for their light-emitting functionality

setting a custom name / sprite for the doors seems easy enough, i like that.

redstone torches can be used in editmode, and it's pretty safe to assume that most of the playerbase does use en_us (i am not one of those ^-^)

Thanks for the feedback! This is definitely something to account for, specially if SRP doesn't have a way to make furniture items emit light automatically when placed. If this is the case, I do agree this change shouldn't be made just yet

this does not apply for doors, as doors have a custom item sprite texture themselves! :)

Why?? Of all the things on SRP, this is one of the very few things that genuinely is a pointless change...
