As much as the suggestion makes a lot of sense in terms of pure gameplay, I feel like it would be detrimental to the primary purpose of the server which is roleplay.We are not meant to play SchoolRP by just running around and expecting things to happen. Players need to put themselves out there, to step out of their comfort zone to meet new people, engage with others.

I understand very well that the suggestion is directed towards the playerbase that would be uncomfortable reaching out to others, not being social enough. But for SchoolRP to start providing solo content would mean providing a completely different content than its original purpose that is roleplay. As much as it pains me to say, if people are not willing to roleplay on a roleplay server, then they are simply in the wrong place.

Is the suggestion in itself interesting? Yes.
Is it worth spending time & energy in development for it? No. Plug-ins are time consuming and require a lot of attention & maintenance.

For the moods part, I would tend towards -1 as well. Once again, the suggestion is not bad in itself, I would not be against having it at all. But it is not worth the time to develop and implement it. I feel like we are meant to roleplay those moods rather than having a button. I log on to SchoolRP to see people's writing, how they emphasize their own character's personality through their written action, so that I can engage and learn more about them. Having people use an emote instead would remove all of that information that makes roleplay fun to begin with.

TL;DR - I would be mostly fine with seeing it added but feel like it is very, very far from being a priority as it brings players away from the primary purpose that is roleplay.
 
+1 on the solo activites.
+ 0.5 on the moods. (leaning for a yes but not right there.)

For the solo activites I do agree that it needs to be added. There are a couple of things to do already, yes but after a while it can feel a little repetitive or alone. Would love to see this idea more explored with different things. Hobbies like…hrmmm? Actually doing art or surfing with a plugin.

The moods I get it, I do but I’m more confused with how it’ll be portrayed! I understand the happy/sad elements but for energy it’ll be a bit difficult. If we’re going by the Sims, it also means that our characters will need to be put down to actually sleep. This will conflict with the whole AFK thing since people will argue that “it’s not AFK if your character is sleeping” yada yada.

Other than that I do think the moods idea can be reworked to really mean something! But for the skills/hobbies I’m all for it!

Have you ever been bored on SRP? Scared of talking to new people because no one RP likes your friends do? I feel like we’ve all been there. Yes I understand it’s a social server but a lot of people struggle to actually communicate and connect with others on this server. My suggestion— add solo things to do on SRP. Maybe things like a plugin or something as a hobby or some way to have fun doing something solo. Numerous of times I have found myself doing nothing on SRP because well it’s the weekend and none of my friends seem to be on.

Another suggestion that adds onto things to do is moods. We have all played either bloxburg or the sims. I suggest character moods. A happy, hungry, energy stat to make roleplay more realistic. I understand that this is minecraft and well it wouldn’t be the easiest to code, but I think it adds something to do in a solo sense where we are able to take care of our characters as we play as them.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
1. It allows people to give something to do which devotes more time to SRP. Solo things to do are good for people who are introverts OOCly. It allows for a more fluid experience, as let’s be real we can’t always have our characters interact icly. It gives something to do to pass time, especially as a newer player or even an older player.
2. This allows us to bring a sense of realistic gameplay to SRP. We could have stats and attributes that maybe a command would show such as /personal! Maybe also a hobby thing, such as instead of the cooking attribute, there was a cooking skill with gardening and etc, which can be seen from both bloxburg and the sims.

Both ideas I feel would bring more realism to our roleplays.

Honestly stuff like this I feel like would be nice! But ONLY if it's able to be toggled. so +1 If its able to be toggled.
