Min grew up in Dong-gu, Incheon South Korea in a 2-bedroom apartment with her parents Song Hyun-Soo and Choi Hoon-Ki. Her mother, Choi Hoon-Ki, worked a part-time job at a supermarket. Her father, Song Hyun-Soo, worked a full-time job as a fisherman by the bay. The family had little-to-none income, which caused Eun-Min to have health issues.
Min was in her toddler years when her father first sexually assaulted her. Her father abused her every day after school, therefore she’s had issues with coming home from school every day. Her mother knew of all the assault her father was doing to her, for she was receiving the same assault. Although she knew of the issues, she still stayed with him because he had enough won to support the family. This made Eun-Min dream of the day when she could support herself enough to not need someone else to support her.
Song Eun-Min has been in daycare ever since she was potty trained by the age of 2. At the age of 5, she went to Incheon Songhyeon Elementary School. Min was the most intelligent in her class throughout all of her primary school years.
On March 12th, 2007 her brother Song Sang-Jin was born. The two enjoyed spending time together, and Min became quite protective of him. Song Eun-Min aided her brother in learning about everyday skills because her parents didn’t care to teach the children about the skills they needed to know. When her grandmother, Kim Soo-Woo, would come over, she’d teach the two the Chinese language. Beginning with syllables in their younger years, moving up to phrases when Sang-Jin was older.
Since Saika was top of her class, they moved her a grade ahead. When she was 10, she was entered into Hwadojin Middle School. After school, she’d run to the park near her house to draw sketches from previous dramas she had watched. When she finished middle school, she moved to Chiba, Japan in a small apartment near Japan's shore. In Chiba, Japan she learned Japanese, entered Meisei High School, and joined the art club at school. Saika met a few good friends named Kim Min-Jun and Kimi Kinoshita. Saika would study with Kimi a ton after school, she’d also teach her the Chinese language. Min-Jun and Saika were friends until sophomore year when Min-Jun confessed his feelings towards her. Min-Jun taught Saika the Chinese language, which is something they bonded over for several months. She began dating Min-Jun, a few months later the two fell into a deep love for one another which caused them to be involved in the secret engagement. The two never were married due to an argument that was caused by Song Eun-Min's father's disapproval. They continued dating until she moved to Karakura, Japan for college. Saika is no longer engaged to Min-Jun, although she loves him to this day.
While in Japan, her mother began an affair with a man named Kang Dong-Rim. The two dated secretly behind Saika’s father’s back for around 2 years. On July 20th, 2017 her father found out about the affair, so he developed deep aggression towards his family. The two parents began yelling at each other, and more physical actions began. Her mother was hit in the head with his bat, causing her to have dementia. Song Sang-Jin died that day, due to Song Hyun-Soo strangling him against a wall in their home. Saika was traumatized for the rest of her life developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which causes her to be frightened by yelling and aggression. When the police force found out 2 days later, Song Hyun-Soo was jailed for life. Min graduated from her high school with honors and later moved to Karakura for college. Min’s mother got a divorce and married Kang Dong-Rim a few months later.
She continues her life in college, expanding her knowledge in medical studies, psychology, volleyball, and art.
