What is your name?

A small pause, The Baek glared across the table, his fingers pressing firmly into what seemed to be a cup, aiming up off the table, a small hum riddled the room but barely made too much of a sound, just enough to pierce the silence, but not enough to cause any headache.

“My Name? Though I am irrelevant, I chase a name that is all so relevant to the town. I mean, we do have a mansion. Anyway, that’s enough useless banter from me, Baek Elio. Or better said, Elio Aslinn-Baek is the full name. Sir.”

What is your age and grade?

The man fiddled with his hands slightly, just allowing his hum to become slightly louder as he waited for the answer to ring perfectly, rise to his head, the blood flowing, and the energy clicking at the top of his head.

“Ah! Good questions all around, Sir. I applaud you, truly. I am twenty years old, and I am currently going for a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and another in Philosophy, both of which, I believe, can aid in the purpose of this club. I doubt you disagree.”

The Baek’s hands folded comfortably in his lap. He laid a single finger against the side of the table, almost resisting the urge to tap it with his nails, though he did resist, and just rested both hands comfortably in his own lap. Give a welcoming smile to the other person.

What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)

The man’s hands simply shot up to rest against the table, He didnt want much action here, he wanted to speak his way through this, he is going to be a Speech & Debate lead, isnt he.

“What leads me to Run a club, here in this fine school, well: My motivation is simple, what Sherlock would say is 'Simply Elementary', yeah? - Well, I would agree with the dear Holmes, at least in this certain cirvmstance, I want the chance to make a difference, and you can't do that by sitting behind a desk, and feeling sorry for yourself. Now, if I sat here and said that was my only motive, I'd be lying. The Baeks, we all know them, or at least, the cultured people do. They are all astonishing, well-accomplished people, and what am I? A bachelor student who can barely afford to stock his fridge. A part of me is shooting for this spot, so I can finally make the family proud, show that I'm worth this blessing of a surname, I know they all have something that drives them, and trying to create a spot where people can be themselves, and enjoy themselves, In forms of giving speeches, having healthy, friendly, well structured arguments that don't leave someone's feelings hurt, Is my drive, The reason I get out of bed in the morning, for this eventual place, this eventual safe-haven where anyone can go, and just be themselves, The world is toxic to those that truly push forwards, and advocate for themselves, it's sad, yeah. But it's true, Sir., and I want to change that, or at least, make teh first step twoards an attempt, giving the safe space that many high school, and college students need, a truly welcoming comitee, Those, are the motives, and reasons, that I'm here, and want to be a club leader here in Karakura.”

Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? (50+ words)

“Me, Over other’s? Alright, it’s pretty simple, at least in my eyes: I think that I have a drive that not everyone, or anyone else has, I have a try drive to excel, and to push for a better environment. I have knowledge that not all other’s have, I have pushed over and over again to learn more on the subject I wish to run a club on, I’ve spent time in leadership positions, and made it so i could work better and better, Trying to make the area better for everyone, not just myself, I have a flexibility with others, strong work ethic, and the ability to compromise, which makes me the best candidate.”

What is the official title of your club?

Speech & Debate Club!

Provide a small summary of your club (75 words)

The Speech & Debate Club is a club where you will do multiple things, of course,e you would give speeches, to advocate for certain things, or even things that the town and school want to see! Of course, there's a polling section of the club to figure out what to debate on and what to speak out on. But it's generally just a place for us to speak out, whether it's for ourselves, for entertainment, or to advocate for others.

Please gather five student members for your club and list their character names and usernames

Seluvis Nakazumi | HumanTeethParade

Do you have a student councillor to supervise and assist your club? If yes, please provide their character name and username
You may ask any councillor who is not already a supervisor, if you can not find one, one will be provided to you upon acceptance.

I will need one provided to me upon acceptance!

Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?

You would have to fill out an application and then do an ICLY interview, but there would be no other requirements. Meaning any grade-level // college level is fine!

Provide one school-wide event that your club may host

Town V. Club Debate // Mock Trial!

This Debate would be more like a mock trial, though, a debate is basically a trial of the mind, right? At least, Somewhat I guess. This would consist of the Government Faction putting up their lawyers, and the club would put up members, where they would THEN commence miniature Mock-Trials. Each time it would be a small trial between the Lawyer, and the Club member, at the end it would be put up to an actual jury of three town-employed judges, and un-biasedly, they will chose teh winner for each round, creating an enjoyable experience for not only the students of the club, government faction, but the audience as well!

Provide one flash event that your club may host

Flash-Event: Speech Speech Speech! That’s right It’s a speech, shocker am’i’right? Not really, though. It would be a small event where the club gives a small speech; the topic would be chosen beforehand. It could either be about the club, and its applications, Over-Throwing hte government? It could even be a speech about another club, and why the debate club is, obviously, better!

Provide one club activity that your club might host

A club activity that the Speech & Debate club could host would be.. Either of these two options.

1. A fieldtrip to the government! They would learn the points of putting an argument together from lawyers, so they can better they’re debate skills! Then they would practice these newfound hints and clues and whatnot from the lawyers by performing “Opening Statements” with the other party. Then the Lawyers, or really any government, would evaluate their statement, and give them a __/50 Score! 10 points for the 5 sections, to find those out, you’ll just have to wait and see!

2. Debate Practice: The Club would bring up a “wheel of names,” full of topics each topic that they land on, the two club members selected for the current round would have to have a small “Debate” over the topic, and the Winnter would be decided by the peers not currently participating in the activity, if found to be short on time, the last few rounds can be turned into groups of two, or three, against each other!
