What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
The creative aspect drives me into wanting to doing this- I genuinely love writing and creating, as someone who's done the sort for many years now. And being part of another, bigger creative collaborative sort of thing with the Reporter Faction in SRP makes rp a lot more fun to me—considering i've wanted to join the faction for a while now since the past year of my activity in the server, and knowing/making a few friends in the faction. It entices me more knowing the potential I could have, both for story telling and just having genuine fun and silly hijinks with friends and other players in the faction. At the end of the day I'd love to join to add my creative flare and have even more fun to expand my roleplay experience!
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:
Plentiful. I've been writing for a long time, I've been an advid roleplayer and writer for so long now, and joining SRP was a big reason as to why, I love to write! DetailRP is one of my favorite things to do, I do many literate roleplays. And I joined the Journalism Club a few months ago for even more fun through roleplay (which it has been! And is anther reason why I'd like to join) I would not label myself that of a professional writer, but I'd say I'm still quite decent. And my strong suit is creative writing and improv.

I do agree and acknowledge the rules i've read and have no intention to cross those guide lines!
Why should we accept you over others?:
The reasons I feel like I should be accepted into this faction is because of a few things, genuinely speaking. I'm very free and am not usually busy unless specified, I like to create many things and have created about 3 articles for the Journalism Club (Technically 3 in one month!) That being said, I'm a fast worker. I finish projects quickly and am thurough with my work! To add, I'm also good at Improvisation when given a prompt, as I've said, creative writing is my strong suit.
I like to work with others aswell. I also try to bring good vibes to any situation (Some may say i'm a bit of a goofy goober of sorts) and I'm open to any sort of critiscism or feedback if needed for anything I ever create, really. And to add, being dedicated to things such as this is what I'm best at.
I believe I can really bring a new feel with the reports I could create being in this faction! And even help others aswell, if needed of course. Helping others is genuinely something I like to do aswell, and knowing that teamwork is also a big part of the faction (At least that's what I speculate) then this is also an aspect I would to bring me in as a reporter!

Yes! I understand this precaution and I understand to keep within being neutral in my future reports and articles!

Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:
I think being a reporter is a few things. Sort of like a To-Do list of sorts:
Staying informed: Being engaged with the community, asking questions, networking with others, and going to events!
Collecting data: Gathering information on the topic that I'm trying to cover. This would be getting photo's, research, ****ysis, and interviews!
Keep in touch: You never know when a report could have a part 2, many stories can have even more to it overtime. It's always good to keep yourself in the know with subjects that could probably lead to even more headlines in the future!
In short, being a reporter is generally just keeping yourself busy with being close to those in the city. Attend events, network in the public areas! Find out what's new, and interat with the community!.

He'd then take a seat, crossing one leg on the other, his expression then changed into a gentle smile. Clearing his through before he'd finally speak. "Genkei Oshiro"

Past job/work experience:"Oh yeah, I got this" Genkei said with a grin, he'd adjust himself once more in his seat to make his position a little more comfortable. Almost like he was relaxing."I've been doing this sort of thing for some time now, creating is just part of my nature at this point." Genkei said, with such a tone that only felt as if he were just that confident in his skills. "When I was little I was the lead bassist and singer in my band. A metal band, of course."
The man would grin as he folded his hands together. fixing his bangs and brushing a bit behind his ear. "Yeah, yeah. It was really fun. And afterwards I wanted to start creating youtube videos- since I had left my home city in Hamburg. Soooo I started to create videos on youtube. Course that was the next course of action- right?"
Genkei snorted. Taking his phone out to show a video for example.
The video played, and the first few minutes essentially just a basic intro, him playign a few riffs of his bass, and then introducing the topic at hand."It was about when I was like... What- 17? I wanted to start covering the stuff I was seeing around town, and It was fun I might admit. This one did numbers, though—It was based upon me watching a friend of mine get JUMPED. Genuinely baffled me, and watching lots of people just... PASS by like they saw nothing?! It was outragious, I tell ya! Not like the cities changed much since- bbbuuuttt.... It's a little... Less chaotic. Hah, but I digress. My point is? Yeah, I've got some knowledge about media, creating stuff like this. It's uh... It's something I like y'know?"

A smug, crooked grin crossed his face... 'Oh man, I get to talk about myself for FREE?!' He thought to himself, then cleared his throat "Sure! I'd describe myself aaasss... Reliable! I'm always there for a friend, and many of my friends count on me. I also am confident, and a genuine just... GOOD vibe to be around for real." Genkei explained as he'd fix his hair again. The sure-ness in his voice was definitely apparent, projecting his 'confidence.' Not that he wasn't- but he sure had a lot of it.
What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?:
"Hmm... Well, I'm good on gossip and stuff. I also am a little interested in the... Underground stuff I heard of. I've had friends in that, uh. Profession." Genkei mentioned in a whisper, as if someone else were listening in on the conversation. Leaning forward with a hand covering the side of his face to speak before he'd snicker, sitting back again. "But if that ain't possible then i'm free for literally ANYTHING else! I saw that, uhh... OH The Daily Paranoia? That seems fun! Whizzfeed also seems interesting—that'd be pretty fun too. I'd love to dip my toes into that" He said, then he'd snicker to himself at his own words immaturely.
What are your expectations for the job?:
"My expectations? Uhh, Iunno. Free healthcare?" He'd joke, laughing again. Throughout the interview he'd clearly had gone from serious, to relaxed, to playful. He had really settled in and gotten comfortable! And it showed by now, especially. Who he is as a person anyway. "Ahhh, seriously speaking though? What I expect is to enjoy myself! Have fun, I mean it's not your usual 9 to 5 so to be honest? I fully expect to just be chillin' whole time! Aside from when i'll need to lock in, that's a no brainer. But that doesn't mean even then I can't have fun- no? I think this'll bring big opportunity! And I uh... I look forward to meeting my future coworkers as well!" Genkei spoke with a grin on his face, clasping his hands in his lap. Clearly excited about what would be to come in his new potential job!

Genkei setup the room, a coffee cup for him and the individual he would interview. Fixing his dress shirt and then taking a seat across the other end of the coffee table. A friendly smile to lighten the mood, not like the topic at hand were tense at all. But reaction could vary aswell.
The interviewee entered the room, sitting across from Genkei.
Genkei pressed record on the taperecorder. Beep Beep!
"No, not at all. My schedule is quite free anyway, you caught me at a good time." They spoke, adjusting in their seat. [???]
{Genkei} "Of course! Yes, well. First question! Who are you? What was life in Karakura like before the recent catastrophes?"
"My name is ████" They would pause for a moment, then a sigh. "I lived a regular life. Nothing out of the ordinary, things were normal. I had school, I had work, I had family stuff to attend to. I mean, sure this place isn't the safest but y'know you wouldn't suspect that you'd get robbed from a random bird, rather than one of those... Y'know" [???]
{Genkei} "Ah, I figured as much. That was also my second question... Knowing your life was relatively simple and safe- how much have you started to worry for your own safety as of now since the recent bird attacks?"
"I've started to worry a lot, actually" They answered, rather quickly. "Some people wouldn't mind a bird flying into your house, but then again most people don't have rabid feathered freaks diving through their open back door to wreck your KITCHEN." They remarked, a possible reference to a recent situation of their own. [???]
{Genkei} "I assume you're speaking from experience? Have you been attacked from a bird recently?"
"Almost every other day I see a bird fly by my house, or fly above me, and fear that it'll dive down onto me. Yes i've got experience—these birds are out of control at this point!" [???]
{Genkei} "I see. What would you see as the fix for this? What steps would you assume we take to bring a stop to these. . . Avian fiends?"
"I dunno. My personal solution would be seen as less than favorable by many, but if we're talking about doing it the humane way I'd say we catch every single one of 'em and kick 'em off the island." [???]
{Genkei} "Oh? What about the ones we consider friends? What about birds who are pets? Would they need to be put away aswell?"
"Yes, I think they're all a problem personally. I've even seen some inside... Well, I'm no snitch. But nonetheless- pet or not. They're all an issue. How are you able to tell pet from wild anyway? Yeah sure, some people put accessories on their pets. But even then, I see no reason why that makes them exempt. They're still subseptable to being a menace anyway." [???]
{Genkei} "Right, of course! If that's how you see it, and knowing many of these bird attacks have been extremely out of nowhere and- you really can't tell one from the other... Well anyway, another question I have. Do you think that the issue is only birds? Or do you think there's a greater issue here?"
"Mh, well. I assume if the birds aren't doing this on their own there's a possibility they're being trained. . ." [???]
