In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?
Professors are one of the most important roles on SRP because they are entrusted with the task of helping their fellow professors teach and help students learn, using their ability to teach to help refine the community in school with well-educated, smart young students. Professors are also expected to uphold the stutus of rolemodel, to help exite the students to learn and to go to the classes held during the day. Professors in general are put in charge of those interested in persuing a certain path, whether that might be another important role in Kakura, like police officer, docter, or even shopkeeper, or something more low-key, like office worker, receptionist, or even pet-sitter or parent to children. Professors teach their students valuable skills that they can apply in many aspects of theur life.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?
Yes
Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?:
Yes

What's your character's full name?
Mizuki Rei Kagami
Age (Minimum is 27):
29
Nationality:
Japanese/German
Preferred Subject:
Mathematics
Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?

Appearance and Attitude
Mizuki is a quite friendly, yet very straight-forward kind of woman. She is normally quite friendly, and will treat every person, both older and younger, with the respect they have shown her. She tends to be found in her own world, sometimes spacing out when she is alone. Mizuki is quite the introvert, enjoying her alone time and prefers it that way, but likes to socialize with those younger than her.. People who are older than her intimidate her slightly, but will always have open arms to conversation.
She had ash blonde hair that flows slightly wavy down to her shoulders, and kind, yet piercing dark green eyes. Mizuki has very prominent freckles across the bridge of her nose, and is rather tall, her torso being on the shorter side, but her legs being rather long for a woman of her age. She has two piercings in each ear, none anywhere else.
Mizuki was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, along with her mother and her 2 older brothers. She had the best childhood that she thought she needed, despite living in a small and cramped house among a mother constantly on job meetings and two pushy older brothers who thought they knew best for me, but I still liked existing in my own world, playing with dolls and pretending to be the mother of a house while keeping up with her schoolwork, since she was home-schooled by a private tutor. Despite her happy childhood, Mizuki wasn't sure of many social norms, and could be seen as rude to the adults around her, but little Mizuki didn't know any better. After she turned nine years old, her mother found a job in another country, but Mizuki wanted to stay in Germany, so, despite what she actually meant, was put up for adoption while her brothers and mother went to live in Russia.
About 2 years later, she was found and adopted by the Kagami family, traveling to live over in Kakura to start her first real academical school years. She kept up her studies until she graduated from College, going back over to Germany to start her math major in the University of Münster. Mizuki then graduating with a master's degree in mathematics at 27 and coming back to Kakura in hopes to teach as a professor.
What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?
Students and Mizuki's co-workers alike are seen as people for her to potentially befriend. Students are seen as humans with a passion for learning, which Mizuki is glad to teach. The other professors around her are seen as humans with the same goal as her: to help and teach the students about the superb perks that learning has to offer. Nevertheless, both her students and co-workers are shown with respect and kindness, and she does her best to get to know the people in the community around her. And if they don't want to know her, or treat her with disrespect? Well, she doesn't show them with respect either, and doesn't waste her time with them. If it's a student being rude, she will slowely put them back into place in discreet ways. If a fellow professor is unkind, she will simply ignore them. Despite her longing to have things as equal as they can be, she will still do her best to help both the students and, perhaps, professors around her, since they are seen as both human and a part of the huge school community.
What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
Mizuki's modivation to teach and become a professor is lead by her love for learning herself, and her urge to teach her students about how good learning can be for the brain. She both adores teaching those in need of knowledge and the students around her, so she wants to reflect her love of learning into the students around her for the betterment of both the students themselves and the community of school and therefore the future of Kakura.

A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
Mizuki will slowely call them out in a few ways, like asking them to answer a question, which they will most likely not be able to do because they weren't paying attention. If they are unable to answer, she will ask them to both pay attention and quit throwing paper balls, and if they are able to answer, she will thank them and, again, ask them to stop throwing paper balls and continue on with the lesson. If the paper ball throwing continues, Mizuki will again call them out, directly turning around and pointing at them with the chalk in her hands, telling them to stop thowing the paper balls or there will be consequences. If the student continues to throw the paper balls, even after her warnings, Mizuki will stop the lesson alltogether and call them up to sit next to her desk, away from all paper sheets and students, before only then continuing the lesson. After class, she would keep the student after class and give them a small booklet of problems she would want solved before the next class. Then, and only then, would she release them, her frusterated face gone, as she advised the student calmly to stop the behavior.
A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
Mizuki would stop the lesson, noticing their confused and slightly distraught facial featuresm, calling them out in a calm way to give the student time to explain why they were confused, and answering their question before continuing on with the lesson. If the student continues to seem confused, she would stop the lesson again, coming over to where the student was sitting to help explain to them and help them through the problem they need help with, and only then walk back to her desk to continue the lesson. If the student is still having trouble understanding the lesson, Mizuki would call out to the student calmly, telling them to stay after class. Once the lesson is over and class is dismissed, she will keep the trobled student after class, first reassuing the student that they are not in trouble, before helping explain to them the formula they had trouble understading during class, this time in more detail, since she doesn't have a class waiting on her to continue the lesson, giving them tips for the future to make sure they doesn't have trouble in future math classes, and she would again reassure them that she was glad to help.
When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
While Mizuki is in the faculty lounge, taking a break most likely, she would still look much more relaxed than she would during a class, and most likely be talking with her fellow professors, asking how their classes went and being more friendly that usual, since she knew that she didn't have any students looking at her and expecting a role model. Mizuki feels that she can be more of herself among her fellow professors and students, even though she still seems as calm as ever, happy that she doesn't have to deal with the students for the time being- no emotional outbreaks, no screaming fits, no crash-out, no fights.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject.
Mizuki always found field trips related to mathematics hard to plan, since there aren't many places in Kakura that could have something related to her subject, so she had to be smart about this...
Math Jeaprody!
How it works: Mizuki would line her students up by the door, asking them to bring only the necessities for math class, and would bring them to the local park, again lining them up before asking them to sit. She gave each of her students a piece of paper and a pencil, one they could use later in the game, before instructing them to, when I asked a question, if they knew the answer, to raise their hands as fast as they can. Mizuki would then call on that person, asking if they knew the answer. If they got it right, she would nod her head and add 10 points to that student's score. If they got it wrong, she would shake her head and take 5 points from that student's score, and if they didn't have any already, she would leave their points as they were. At the end of the game, the two people with the most points would come stand in front of the others, and I would ask a question- of course, a fair one, no trick questions- and the winner would recieve a sticker at the end of class.
Twenty Questions Math!
How it works: Twenty Quesions Math is a different versoin of Twenty Questions that has Mizuki think of a mathematical concept, and then asks her students to start guessing what it might be with questions she could answer as a simple yes/no. Again, Mizuki would line her students up at the door and lead them to a place where students can relax, maybe the beach, maybe the plaza, but the students wouldn't be able to bring anything along with them. After they arrive, she would let them sit somewhere around where I was standing, before thinking of a concept her students would have to guess. Nothing above their comprehension, nothing I hadn't taught in my class, just something simple. If they guess it fairly easily, Mizuki would clap her hands for the student who guessed it, before thinking of another concept. Again, nothing too hard for them, but something harder than the last question. If they cannot guess it within 10 minutes, Mizuki would give a subtle hint, and if only then a student got it, she would nod her head, and continue on. If, at the end of the game, everyone had answered at least one question, I would congratulate each of them and release them. If, one so happened to guess more than the rest, she would gift that student a sticker.
SIDE NOTE: Also, as of right now (January 26th) I am out of town, but I will be back by probably next week (February 2nd) . If not, and I do not notice if my application is accepted, please contact me through Discord. Thank you!
