Personality
Suzume would act rather childish but also have notable hints of cruelty and sass towards those she dislikes. She can often annoy those around her and she would readily degrade anyone at a moment's notice. Despite this, she wouldn’t be that intimidating because of her appearance.
She would be rather chaotic and have an extreme sense of humor, often joking around in normal conversations. However, she is surprisingly laid back when she needs to be.
Suzume would be the type to run away from big problems, and she generally relies on others to do certain things. This makes her rather clingy with people she cares about.

Suzume would be a short, skinny girl that stands at 4’11. She would have short, messy, light brown hair with a bleached streak, and she’d have gray-green eyes. She’d have thin eyebrows and rather smooth skin due to her young age. Suzume hardly wears any accessories on her outfits other than two black ear piercings and a flower hair clip.

Backstory
Suzume’s whole childhood would be spent in a neglectful orphanage after her single mother died while giving birth to her and her twin sister. It was extremely uncared for and Suzume considered it abusive, and she hardly got anything close to a good education. She was more shy during these times, contrasting her recent personality. Her sister, Akane Hirayama, was the one who inspired this change, for she was more brash and outgoing than Suzume, being looked up to by the other kids. Her sister was the only good thing Suzume would remember about the orphanage.
A bad kitchen fire then burned the orphanage down, killing her sister, and stripping Suzume of any place that she could stay at in her area when she was 13. She would be forced to spend two years homeless in relative poverty, and while she was mature enough to be able to survive, it was extremely difficult for her to sustain herself.
Eventually, a visiting man, who she now knows as Cyprien Gauthier, took pity on her and decided to adopt her when she was 15. She has currently been living under his roof along with her three new siblings for one year.

Cyprien Gauthier would adopt Suzume after she was homeless, and she cares deeply for him, bleaching a streak of her hair to represent their bond. They have a bit of a strange relationship.

Suzume’s adoptive sibling. Amari and Suzume got along right away, and they’re often seen accompanying each other when they can.

Suzume’s adoptive father’s fiancée. She didn’t have a great introduction to her when she first moved in but they’ve grown to like each other. Suzume already considers her a mother.

Suzume is closer to Karolos than most students, and considers him her favorite teacher. She is extremely clingy with him and visits him every time she goes to school. Karolos however, is on and off with tolerating her, being annoyed by her, and being scared of her, at the very least.

Disorders and Ailments
Mild Protanopia Color Blindness
Suzume has trouble telling apart Green and Red, and to an extent Blue and Purple, and relies on other’s input or pitch to be able to tell the difference.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Suzume suffers from PTSD, mainly stemming from the orphanage and it burning down, but also from her poverty. She gets panicked when thinking back on those memories, and often tries to avoid anything related to those past events. She also tends to undereat because of limited food given to her during those periods. It has become less severe more recently, but is still an issue that she tends to hide.
Hobbies and Interests
Suzume would have an interest in gardening, and has lots of plants in her room and hidden near her apartment building. She likes growing herbs, flowers, and different types of crops. She also has a developing interest in witchcraft, and enjoys watching streams, listening to all types of music, and annoying her teacher. She still has a lot of time to develop other interests.
