Shop wanted: HeartBooks
Why do you want to own a shop?:
Heartbucks cafe has been around for almost 2 years now. As one of the very first employees to work beside Aria I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for all the hard work and dedication she has put into keeping the shop alive. I'm beyond proud to say that I’ve been there from the very beginning. Not only did I watch as Heartbucks and Heartbooks grew and developed into what it is today. I love the community of SRP and honestly, it wouldn’t be the same without Heartbucks and Heartbooks. And as a friend who has learned a lot from Aria, I want to be able to make others smile like she can. More than anything I want to be able to build my own shop off of something truly incredible such as Heartbooks. I want to continue Arias Legacy, and who knows maybe one day I will be able to inspire someone like aria inspired me.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
Already the shop is built, functions and has a full stock of books ranging to about 300 different books with a large category of genres. All I plan to do is continue the work that aria has started along with add new books. And an opportunity for students to create and submit their own. And of course, hiring all new staff, redoing the basic setup and so on,
How will your shop be unique?: Already the shop itself is more than unique. Not only is it the only shop to be a bookstore made in Karakura but it is the only store that allows students to earn money by selling books they make themselves.
How many employees are you planning to have?: In the many years that I’ve played school roleplay working for Aria as well as various other shops and businesses, I’ve always noticed one recurring pattern. And that pattern is that shops are always overstaffed so much so it creates complications. And due to their being so much staff profit for the stock is lower, complications arise and overall it’s unneeded. The truth is you only ever need 1 or 2 people to open the shop itself. Ideally, our staff team would consist of 6 employees in total, while 2 open per opening.
