So, to start things off I'd like to say that Tanteidan X is something that I have been working on for the past couple of weeks in tandem with hebwig. The idea and concept of it is years old and was gifted to me by the former stated. As I was on holiday until recently, production slowed until today when I released the server to the public. This thread acts as a sort of introduction to Tanteidan X as it opens in hopes of garnering more attraction. LORE︱What you are about to read is a journal, a log of TANTEIDAN X's creation, and how it was made. TANTEIDAN X was made entirely in-character, and so the lore that surrounds TANTEIDAN X is primarily based off of in-character events that the leader, X, witnessed that convinced them to form the group.

CHAPTER ONE: IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND
Throughout life throughout the streets of Karakura, no words quite echo through the city quite like the whispers and tales that revolve around a man named Metagarou Tachitsu. A man who had made it all and completed his dream, defied all odds and taken the city in his own grasp, leading it as the true top dog of the city. Immune to the government, and to what seemed like anything that attempted to take him down. Unbeknownst to many, though, was that Metagarou had siblings, a sister and two brothers, whom were each in their very own ways tainted by the filth that lurked in each alleyway, crook and corner of the city that never sleeped. X, the youngest of the Tachitsu bloodline was also the member of it most prominent for helping the other's around, even if it cost him his own sanity. Wanting to feel as use to his brothers, and to an extent, his estranged sister. X helped Metagarou from the shadows, collecting information of their own about the criminal underworld, adapting to it and growing accustomed to it at a young age. X continued to grow deeper, intertwining completely with the rotten, corrupted side of Karakura that the Koji family had fished their family into. Among the various phrases Metagarou would tell his sibling, X, to inspire them to better themself, to become a better criminal. No other stood more critically acclaimed by the younger child then Metagarou's quote to them in the days before his passing.
"Take what I've taught you and use it wisely, to collect, not to scatter Karakura. Use it to put Karakura IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND."

CHAPTER TWO: SISYPHUS
X, lost without their older sibling found themself a straggler in a distant land that rejected them. They were far too invested in the criminal underworld to continue on and be a normal child who could attend school, and they were too pushed from reality, from society due to their last-name to attempt it. On one fateful night, as the Karakurian grey skies rained with torrents of water and flashes of lightning, X found themself entering the strange, decrepit building by the side of the depressing graveyard that charted each murder, each victim to a crime among the city. The establishment, which broadcasted it's name in the way of a lopsided sign that hung off the entrance, appeared to be a bar that X's other brother frequently visited; a bar by the name of 'THE MARINER'. It was here that X met with an individual they would be unaware to be the infamous lead of the KARAKURA BLACK MARKET, 410. X and 410 would regularly and repeatedly have conversations with another as X continued to visit the bar more and more, the conversations entailing vague ideas to how his lack of purpose was akin to the ancient Greek SISYPHUS, or general advice that 410 would give X. The most important, and the advice that stuck out most to X, was the rime of the ancient mariner, and the namesake of the shop entirely. While like the ancient Greek, they had to push a boulder up a hill and would never complete their end goal of killing Alex Koji, the rime of the ancient mariner stood tall to X as it recounted their life in a different setting. To X, Metagarou had simply shot down an albatross for a good reason. A reason which would eventually lead to the downfall of their family. It is here, in the mariner, that X threw away their goals and aspirations of vengeance against Alex Koji, but a strong vendetta against the family would remain. X would later contact and speak with DEEZNUTS, a user on the website IKIGAI who would detail to them of the Akihito Clan's corruption. Seeing a former side of himself within the IKIGAI user, X would leave; unknowing to the lurking of an Akihito Clan member, KHONSU, who would listen in on the conversation.

CHAPTER THREE: BENEATH THE CITY
Through the various information that 410 had prescribed X, the only one that X themself had gone seeking for from the weapon dealer was the information that surrounded the death of their greatest enemy, Alex Koji. X, informed by 410 that a young female, even younger then themself had done the task. Xtravelled across the city of Karakura for days, until they stumbled upon the offender one night on the beach, during a rather large argument that the female was embarking on. The female, who's name was Sawa Taigyoku, denied that she had killed Alex Koji, instead re-telling the story of the death to X as the tidal oceans that surrounded the island of Karakura beat against the two's bodies. Now knowing that Alex Koji had gone out on his own terms, without suffering, X strengthened their resolve to do what Metagarou had taught them in their own way, to put the city right where they wanted it. X would repeatedly meet, and run into Sawa on multiple occasions. Most notably of the sort being a death-defying day on the same day of the city-wide basketball tournament. X would find themself tailing the Akihito Clan down into the depths of Karakura, BENEATH THE CITY and into the sewers that had taken many lives since first being build years prior. Within the sewers, Xwould find Sawa and travel along with her until the two would stumble across a large sewer brawl taking place between an unknown Yakuza group, Triad, and the Akihito Clan themselves. While Sawa would dive in and get to fighting, Xwould remain neutral in the fight, spectating from the side-lines until Sawa was injured and almost had her arm cut from body. Recalling what 410 had told them about the ancient Greek myth, X would patch Sawa's injuries before escaping themself out of the sewer, having confirmed the suspicions of corruption among both the government, and the Akihito clan. X would later meet up with the leader of Akihito, Datenshi Akihito, and speak with him outside of the hospital, declaring an all-out-war on the Akihito Clan, and claiming, that they would finish what their brother started, and take down the Akihito Clan, whether fighting them all by themself, or with their own allies they would make along the way.

CHAPTER FOUR: A MISSION
KHONSU would eventually make himself known to X at the powerplant the day after the events that had transpired in the sewers. X would move to the top of the building with KHONSU, where the Akihito Clan member would recount the conversation that X had prior with DEEZNUTS. KHONSU, wanting the help of X to help take down a larger threat to Karakura then even the corrupt Yakuza, would set up a plan for X to take part in, A MISSION, for them to complete. Tired of being used, without a purpose of their own, X would grab KHONSU and hang the Yakuza member off the edge of the building, repeatedly questioning the individual before their brother would pull them back, and with the arrival of the Karakura Police Department, X would be separated from KHONSU, with the only parting words between the two being a simple "I'll do it.". Driven off with their brother after attempting to kill their now co-worker, X would find themself battling their brother, both physically and mentally behind the hospital as the rain fell. X stepped from their brother, away from the Tachitsu idea, and completely away from being Metagarou's pawn anymore. X, had finally begun to find themself.

CHAPTER FIVE: LIFELINE
Days after arguing with their brother, X would be alerted to a party on a yacht. A party where they would celebrate the re-gathering of the Akihito Clan. Originally opposed to going, X would attend the event after seeing a group of people on the beach shore who looked strangely familiar to those who they had seen fighting the Akihito Clan in the sewer. The party was fine at the start, with no clear signs of attack, X met with Sawa who roughly told them to stop following them around, to the former's dismay. Mid-way through the party, jetski's tore through the waters of Karakura and hijacked the boat with the intentions of taking down the Yakuza. The group Triad returning and laying waste to the boat and other Yakuza members, X would reunite with Sawa on the boat, despite being told to leave. Stating that they were Sawa's "LIFELINE" and spectating as Sawa, then joined by KHONSU would battle with the enemy group, Triad. The battle warred along the sides of the boat, across every nook and cranny with the main exhibition being up top where Datenshi himself fought against the leader of the Triad Yakuza. X, partnered with Sawa, would travel up to meet the damaged Datenshi, who would walk past them before leaving, presumably to go to the hospital with no words shared between the two. Sawa, after throwing a sledgehammer at a triad member's head, would pass out in X's arms. Leading to them taking Sawa to hospital. The very same hospital where DEEZNUTS, who had been waiting for KHONSU would be present. X, realising that not only they want to change, but to affect change, and create it themselves, would leave with DEEZNUTS from the hospital to help the younger female.

CHAPTER SIX: DOPPLEGANGER
X brought DEEZNUTS, revealed to be Alex Koji's daughter, Nozomi Koji, to the powerplant. Giving the younger female advice on how to deal with a catastrophic loss such as a father-figure in your life. X would proceed to give Nozomi a bat to destroy things with when she felt mad, something that X felt themself when they lost Metagarou months prior to the meeting. Nozomi and X would be separated after a brief interception with the cops, meeting back up at the Koji Tower where the two would converse, joined by a strange masked individual, BAKENEKO, in the process. X watched Nozomi push those away from her, even if they wanted to help her, and recalling her words of how Akihito would not leave her alone, breaking into her house, X's determination to effect something for once; to cause a change for themself finally bloomed and exploded into a flower. It was if Nozomi were X's DOPPLEGANGER, the similarities within the two. X, who was the result of a loss no-one helped them with, found themself helping the daughter of their very worst enemy. Departing, left Nozomi with a deafening sentence. "No matter how much you fight against it, in Karakura, even if you try your hardest to fix something, it doesn't mean it will always come back the same.".

Change was needed throughout Karakura, and the recent events that had happened influenced X to create a task-force, a group. TANTEIDAN X had been formed at last. TANTEIDAN X, a group founded upon X's own warped sense of justice, it's primary goal when conceived was to help take down those who fought for no reason, those who killed for no reason. Poetic, X, the leader of TANTEIDAN X, the person who never got their revenge, aimed to put an end to revenge after all that time. "Live for your family, for the people who care about you, leave people like me to get their hands dirty, to atone for the sins we've committed, to be punished for what we've done." - X
