United States

Do you have Discord (if so, what is your discord username?):
Yes, I do. : Mils#0004

Do you understand that most answers are found in the roleplay documents?:
Yeah, mostly all roleplay scenarios have the answers in a roleplay document. If I'm ever in a scenario, I'll sure to be to use them as references whenever I'm teaching a class or just wandering the school if I haven't started a class or just got done with a class.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Of course, if I'm inactive it's a good reason to demote me.

Do you understand that all classroom activity must be documented on the "Teacher Roster" thread?:
Yes, of course, I do.

Describe your activity on the server & on the forums?:
I am on every day. From 1:00PM CDT - 12:00AM CTZ.
I may be inactive for an hour or two on Mondays and Thursdays, but I'll always be willing to be on even at 1 in the morning if needed.

Trivia

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?: I really miss being a teacher. And seeing things have calmed down in classes, meaning most of the time people aren't as crazy as back then, I wanna join again. I also want to try out a new subject, rather than continuing to be a music teacher. I want to thank CommunismRP for motivating me to even apply for this, as I was really doubting if I should even apply.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:
Teacher experience? Yes, of course. I have been a teacher 2 or 3 times, gaining more experience through the process. Non-Teacher experience is also yes. I have spent the majority of my time on the server not being a teacher and choosing other jobs, or staying as an Adult.

Have you read the Faculty Handbook?: Sadly that doesn't exist anymore unless someone has a copy of it.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?: Classroom logs are used for writing down something to prove the teacher taught to a class and to show that they've been active in their time as a teacher.

You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: I'd have to write down the place we'd go to, what we're going to learn by going there, what time and date it will happen, and why I chose that specific location. I'd then have to ask Duckings for approval.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
- Stay in your seats until told to get off of, meaning when you're turning something in, presenting something, or going to the nurse/bathroom.
- Violence will never be allowed in the classroom. This means no starting fights.
- Keep quiet! Only speak when you're allowed to or called on by the teacher.
- Keep your phones AWAY. A student who isn't paying attention and playing on their phones will not learn what might be on a test or quiz.
- Keep swearing to a minimal. It's going to really suck when you go all "Woah Vicky" on another student.
- Keep your hands to yourself, this goes with the no violence rule.
- Saved the best for last: Come prepared for class! This means to bring any notebooks, pencils, or other materials we might use in class.

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP): Before I even JOINED SchoolRP I was roleplaying. Not the typical roleplay you'd see today, but pretty much Power Roleplays. I was interested in anything Sci-Fi, apocalyptic, or just regular high school roleplays. I found SchoolRP somewhere on my third year of roleplaying and I've been roleplaying on this ever since. I've now spent more time roleplaying her than on any other server. It's been really great, even though most of the roleplays here have been GangRP scenarios.

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

- HD: The HD, or Head of Department, is a position a teacher in a subject may have. The Head of Department is the lead teacher that is in charge of that specific subject. They are in charge of the budgets and curriculum of the subject they lead. Any school activities that involve their subject, they are placed in charge of. They may be responsible for what the lower ranked teachers in that subject (QTLS/NQT) do. It is their responsibility to help the other teachers of that subject when needed as well, meaning helping them out with classes, quizzes, tests, or essays if needed. Although the head of their subject, they also can ask the other teachers for help.

- QTLS: QTLS, or Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills, is a fully fledged teacher. They have taught long enough and have gained enough experience to be a regular teacher. This doesn't mean they won't need help from any other teachers though.

- NQT: NQT, or Newly Qualified Teacher, is where most beginner teachers start. They aren't a fully fledged teacher, so they will most likely need help from the other teachers in that subject. They don't regularly teach without another teacher of that subject helping them.

Teacher Knowledge

Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.
Well, teachers basically shaped the world. Without teachers, there would be no people to lead communities, as they wouldn't have any knowledge of what to do or what is the best choice to pick. Teachers exist for the sole purpose to shape the current generation's future. To help them get interviews for jobs, to help them spell and even SPEAK. Teachers in SchoolRP also serve the purpose to shape the high schoolers to be prepared for college or just help them learn things they never would have known if it wasn't for that specific class. As far as I know, teachers receive somewhere around 150,000 yen, give or take, every 15 classes a month. Teachers will always teach in a way to help the students understand, or learn. Meaning they will sometimes use examples they may understand more than others, and then proceed to make the subject more advanced than they were at the beginning of the class. They spend their spare time in their class or on the school premises during school hours either buying food from the cafeteria or preparing a class. When school hours are up and they're allowed to leave, they spend their time with friends, family, or at home to sleep.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?: Well, you can't have a school without teachers. Teachers play one of the most important roles on this server. Without teachers, a school can't be a school. Students won't even really be students if no one can teach them. The name SchoolRP would mean absolutely nothing without teachers.

What lesson planning system does the school work on?: According to the faculty handbook, which I have obtained very little answers from, but I still got some due to the great CommunismRP, the lesson planning system is MosSCo.

Character Knowledge

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is her personality like? What is her plan for the future?
Nora J. Ainsworth is currently a 25-year-old living in Karakura, Japan. She was born in Toronto, Canada where she spent 25 years of her life in, before moving to Karakura as soon as she turned 25. She's an insanely hard-working kind of person, although she always finds some way to joke about something. She thinks students can sometimes be annoying, but most of the time she sees them as just a new beginning for the future. She has no grudges against them. For the teachers, she sees them as hard-working individuals who want to make a student's life at school the best they could have, as well as making them learn as much as they possibly can.

Scenarios

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: The first step to approaching a scenario like this is to ask what going on to see if there is some kind of argument going on, and also to stop them from arguing/swearing in the process. If I need to, hand them detentions. But, if it was all just a big misunderstanding, I'd just calmly tell them to keep swearing to a minimum, as this will always be a learning environment for them and other students. Students should be role models for younger students.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?: Have a count down. Once the count down ends, and they're still disrupting the lesson, I'd stoop to their level and yell loud enough to quiet them down. Anyone who proceeds to disrupt the class may have to be kicked out of the class and receive an automatic 0% on the quiz or test if one is being taken.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?: Well, try to introduce herself to any new teachers. As well as keeping a calm and collected tone to not disturb anyone trying to enjoy the time they have in there. The basics any teacher would do, try to befriend other teachers. But to also enjoy as much time she is allowed in there.

Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me Quickly rights down her name, the class subject, and the date on the board.
/me Begins to pass out instruction papers, giving one to each student.
/me Pulls out a timer, setting it for 8 minutes for them to finish the assessment.
/me Stops the timer, as it is off, collecting all work from the students, making sure all was handed back.
/me After dismissing the class, she'd lay the papers on her desk to grade them.

Backstory

Nora J. Ainsworth was born in Toronto, Canada, but put up for adoption due to her original family not being able to take care of her. She was adopted at age 10 by a British family who moved to Toronto not too long ago. This family was fairly wealthy, so they could take care of her easily and get her into schools that had very good reviews from parents of the students there, and school inspectors. She spent most of her school years in private schools, although she moved around a lot. Her first job began in a Product Design team for a company that made video games at the age of 16. She spent the next 3 years working until she quit to work for the next 6 years as part of a coding team for a video game. She was then hired by MoonTech to work part-time to test out prosthetics, making sure they're okay for the public. She then moved to Karakura, Japan so she doesn't have to be mailed the products and mail them back. She obviously needed a better salary, as this was only part-time, to help pay for food, water, or any materials needed for her living arrangement. She went on the internet to search for nearby jobs and obviously found a teaching position for Karakura Highschool, a school that was less of a mile away from her home. She applied for that job, including her past working experiences and confirming she had indeed received a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. Days later, she got into an interview for the job. They asked her a couple more questions, her opinion so far for the parts of school she has seen, etc. Leaving the interview, she kept an eye out for any more job applications if this one was to be denied. Maybe a week or two later, she received an email telling her the application was accepted and she can start in a few days for her to purchase any materials she'll need for the school.
