Describe your activity on the server:
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday |
I am usually active from 4PM-6PM and from 7:30PM-12AM | Barely active, if I am then its from 8PM-12AM. | Usually very active, from 3PM-5:30PM and from 9PM-12AM. | Usually active, depending on if I’m injured or not but 8PM-12AM. | Usually active, although I’m fairly inactive in the evening, from 6PM-11PM. | Really active, except for the morning (8AM-4PM inactive usually?) Other than that, active. | Active throughout the whole day, usually waking up anywhere from 7AM-11AM.. |
As for my past activity on the server, it’s a little more complicated.
[CrimeRP\GangRP]
I was in a few gangs, including an old VG, Bonten. I honed my DetailRP a lot there, which only helped me in the future. I started GangRP and CrimeRP thanks to a friend who invited me ICly to their gang, which I happily accepted. I was in said gang for a while, and left after it became inactive. I was then told by another friend of mine which I’ve made from all the CrimeRP and GangRP I did, to join ‘Bonten’. I didn’t know what Bonten was back then, until I actually joined and saw the entire operation. A gang with amazing DetailRP, very accepting and nice people, too. Seeing that, I applied and was accepted. After that, I only honed my DetailRP skills further, going as far as to be able to append multiple times (something I was very much unable to do due to insufficient experience with writing). When Bonten disbanded, I was quite sad, as I didn’t really have a place to go to anymore and be with
friends. This year, I returned slightly to CrimeRP, but it didn’t go very far, although I’m still doing a bit of CrimeRP in my free time.
[JockRP\Sports]
After I finished my GangRP/CrimeRP time and I took a long break, I developed an interest in joining a sports team, and I set my eyes on the high school swim team. After a lot of consideration and debating within myself and asking friends, I decided to write and give it a shot. On my very first try, I made it into the team. Sadly, although my stay was quite long, times for practice didn’t match for me, and I left the team after half a year or so. Following that, I took another much needed break from SRP. Now, this year alone, I’ve attended about 4 Track Team tryouts, 3 of them were high school tryouts, and one was the college tryouts. As sad as it was not getting in the first few times, I made it the first time I tried out for college track. I was beyond ecstatic, and am still ecstatic, as I’m still on the team. Track & Swim both ‘forced’ my level of DetailRP to jump, helping me develop on the server and develop as a writer in my own free time. From being able to append twice, I was now able to do multiple appends using /me’s and /it’s.
[DramaRP]
I’m very much acquainted with DramaRP, as it is something I used to really hate, until I saw the benefits of character development within it. I used to not interact with anyone or do anything that could start ICly drama, but I recently realized how well it helps your characters grow out of their shell. My main character for a few years (Kano Zennix) had this problem. I didn’t do anything cool with him, didn’t get into many dramas, and it was quite boring to play him. Last year, I started getting into more and more DramaRP situations, and these made it fun to play again. He was recently benched for an indefinite amount of time, as I felt like his story came to an end in Karakura. DramaRP progressed multiple of my characters forward, not just Kano.

What position are you applying for?: Governor
What is your motivation for applying?: I’m looking to expand my roleplay into other regions of SRP, as so far I’ve only done Professor and Sports. I feel as if this opening was just at the right time for me to get my new account and prepare this. Townhall’s always been an interesting faction that I almost applied to numerous times. I’ve been planning to apply ever since I joined the server, 6-7 years ago. For me, it was the most interesting faction to join besides Shrine, as it holds importance in the server, as the event that happened with ‘Manhanto’ sparked the idea of me applying, and I used said spark to write this application. The faction is quite interesting with its power dynamics, using not a lot but very important roles to make the entire faction feel more alive, in my opinion.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?: Yes, I have a somewhat major understanding of the Laws & Constitutional rights of Karakura.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?: Mainly to expand my roleplay capabilities and enhance my own experience with things I’ve never done before. This is also a challenge for me, I want to see if I can handle two things (Faction + Sports) at the same time. I also want to upgrade Chèn’s story, as he was benched multiple times without really getting his story finished.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
[Lawyer]
Lawyers are the ones who speak for defendants and more. They argue against each other to win favor in a case, present evidence and question people. Moreover, they are required for anything that is trial-related, really. They make people who are in dispute a solution: They will argue in their favor, and the one who wins is the one who’s correct. Of course, not all cases are like that. Most aren’t. Lawyers are also used for RO’s (Restraining Orders). To sum up, lawyers are used to negotiate and end arguments peacefully.
[Judge]
Judges are the core of a courtroom, the deciding factor in a case, the “overlord” of court. Judges oversee trials and a lot of the happenings in the faction. Approving paperwork is nothing short of their work. They’re required to keep the peace in the courtroom, which is essential for a trial to run smoothly. Judges are also in charge of handling evidence, evaluating them and placing them in the correct place, figuring out what goes where. Judges are also required to interpret the law, and apply it in many places. They can issue RO’s, and make the final calls in cases.
[Governor]
Governors are the back-bone of the Town-Hall. They help with anything safety-related, such as restaurant checkups, and so on and so forth. They officiate marriages, accept adoptions and hand ID’s to people in need. In the safety section, again; They do inspections, surprise inspections, usually. Their role is also extremely important as they’re basically needed to keep the ‘Good Face’ of the Karakura Town-Hall, the government.
[Deputy-Mayor]
The Deputy-Mayor’s job is to assist the Mayor with whatever they can. They look over the smallest of details, go instead of the mayor to ceremonies and such, and act in their place in case it's necessary.
[Mayor]
The Mayor is the most important figure in the Town-hall. The Mayor oversees everything, from how the Lawyers build cases to how Judges come to decisions, how Governors do inspections and how the Deputy-Mayor helps. The Mayor officiates laws that are usually supposed to help the general population. Following that, the Mayor is in charge of the constitution, and how it works.
Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?: Yes, I’m aware and I acknowledge.
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?: Yes, I have.

Full name: “My name? It’s Chèn Yao.” A smirk followed, “You should have that in your paper, no?”
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.): “I prefer to go by Dr….” His expression turned warmer, “But Mr. also works.”
Current age: “That’s not a very nice question to ask..” His expression turned snarky, “Whatever. I’m 30, born in ‘95.”
Date of birth: “From what I remember, it was 9/5/95.”
Academic Background: “Whoa, great question..!” A massive inhale came from Yao’s mouth - and he began speaking without stopping. “Bachelor's Degree in History, Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Master's Degree in Political Science, PhD in Political Science. As for dates for said Degrees.. 2015 for my History, 2018 for my Econ, 2019 for my Masters which I studied at the same time as my Econ, and 2023 for my PhD in Political Science. Thanks.”
Work experience: “I’ve worked here, in Karakura, as a Professor for a year, last year. I used to work in Mainland Japan as a Professor Assistant, a time where I was learning just so I could become a History Professor. It wasn’t worth it, really. I worked as a professor for another two years afterwards. I don’t have much experience working in political fields, although..” He sighed, adding; “Sadly, you could say becoming a professor is something political in itself.”
Nationality & born location: “I’m Chinese. I was born in.. Where..?” A confused expression appeared, Yao had apparently forgotten where he was born! He quickly opened his phone, browsing and closing it again. “So sorry for that. I was born in Huangyao, China.”
Criminal record: Sweat appeared on Yao. “Umm! I-” He stopped himself, calming down. “I don’t have a criminal record.” He murmured something in Mandarin following that.
What makes you a good candidate for this job?: “Wow, I dread this question so much.” He rolled his eyes, continuing. “I think I’m a good candidate because I’m unlike others. Although 30 isn’t that old, I consider having.. 4 degrees is an achievement that is extremely hard to get.” He quickly raised his hands to chest level, shaking them. “I don’t mean to show off, I truly don’t! I think my many years of studying has helped me prove my points by itself. I am a very nice person that has many wants and needs, but I personally took an interest in this position. My immense knowledge in the field and my work experience, even as it may be that I was simply a professor, is vital for my own academic and political success." He crossed his arms, blabbing on. “Having me, a Chinese man that has a PhD, would be an achievement for YOU by itself. I am very thankful for this opportunity, I couldn’t have asked for anything else. Thank you.” He bowed and quickly left the room.
